Latest version 6.0
I must say that i almost left Eufy because of the bugs and errors the app was creating. This latest version restores my faith and sets Eufy apart from all the rest.
Awful
Utterly disappointed in the app and their hardware! Their homebase is also useless. Signal is very weak. App is very slow. Sometimes doesn’t even load, gets stuck decrypting and then fails and displays error or camera is offline.
New update is awful
Please put the app back how it was before - or simple and intuitive - I had to ask AI where to find the play a l option! It is hidden away under a tiny arrow- and it now takes two clicks and hidden menus just to watch the previous day!
Slow Access and Fragmented Motion Videos
I like eufy hardware, it is well-made and seems like it will last a long time. I have the Familock S3 which is their top-of-the-line video doorbell. Unfortunately the software is where eufy is held back. I have similar issues to many other reviewers on here. A big frustration of mine is the slow app. I put a class 10 MicroSD card in my Chime to help, but the video access is still very slow. 10-20 seconds to access security footage is simply too slow. I'm on the same Wifi network as the doorbell with 1gbps fiber, the Eufy app is the only smart device I use that is slow. In addition to the slow loading app, the videos themselves are incomplete. They are always cut off and missing the first couple seconds of motion. I've had Arlo in the past and the videos started before the motion occurred, as they should. I don't understand why eufy's motion capture is so poor. The hardware is there, but the software is not optimized for it.
Lagging
The last few months some of my 5 cameras take forever to load and frequently time out. Doesn’t help when trying to prevent being bludgeoned by marauders
AI traking
It would be very useful to have an option that automatically turns AI Tracking on and off according to a schedule chosen by the user. For example, the user could set AI Tracking to remain off during the day, so the camera does not constantly move and track people in a way that could make neighbors uncomfortable, and automatically turn on at night. This would provide greater privacy, flexibility, and control over when AI Tracking is active.
Forced Baby camera to switch to this app
App is extremely bloated, you can’t delete parts of a video, video is constantly lagging in this app, and various other problems.
Startup is better
Finally last update made it faster. Improve it even further and remove ads make answering calls from ring even faster would greatly improve experience if you guys focused on speed even more
Unreliable
The app is always freezing when trying to watch time stamp videos, live videos, and using the camera to talk to visitors.
New feature
I hope you can add a feature that allows users to view two cameras simultaneously when the phone is held in portrait mode.
eufy s1 pro vacuum
I purchased two of these and only one last past year. They gave me a used different model when sent it in for repair thank God for Amazon extended warranties I paid for.They paid me out for the price a paid for the unit just because this I may not buy another vacuum from this company. It had a bad battery and they just don’t stand behind their equipment.
Horrible
Someone stole my camera and all the footage was gone and that’s just typical. Why would it not say locally?
vedio is not recording
After I update to the latest app, I don’t see the Vedio clips in the alert event. Please fix
recent app update made S4 view worse, not better
The latest eufy Security app update has made the S4 live view significantly less useful on iPad. Previously, the PTZ/movable camera could occupy the full screen while the fixed camera appeared as a small picture-in-picture window, and I could easily switch between the two views. Now the two S4 camera views are forced into equal-sized split-screen panels, with no visible way to make either camera full-screen or customize the layout. This is especially frustrating on an iPad, where there is plenty of screen space. Please restore the previous picture-in-picture/full-screen functionality—or at least provide a setting allowing users to choose how the two S4 cameras are displayed. The previous interface was much more useful.
They stole from me
They charged my twice for cloud storage I can’t trust their cloud storage as reliable as they use a third party! So if you want reliable don’t use this service!
Super Cams
Seit ca 3 Jahre habe ich die 2c Reihe mit 1080 er Auflösung. Außer dass man die Akkus nicht herausnehmen und ggf. Ersetzten kann, bin ich voll zufrieden mit dem ganzen System. Auch dass man zu keinem Abo verpflichtet wird. Alles funktioniert auch exzellent mit zusätzliche Speicherkarte.Und wenn etwas mal nicht so klappt/ Probleme auftreten, dann ist der Kundenservice hervorragend und schnell mit direkt umsetzbare und erfolgreiche Lösungen erreichbar. Immer wieder gerne !
Scam return your eufy device asap!
Let me be absolutely clear: this company does not care about your security, your time, or your money. I purchased the smart lock with the camera—model E330, I believe—and it is a paperweight disguised as a security device. It will not connect to your Wi-Fi unless you also buy their overpriced home base. That is not a technical limitation; that is a calculated trap designed to force you into purchasing more of their inadequate equipment. I know this because I have been dealing with these very same connectivity failures since their earlier models. Those wouldn't connect to my home internet either. The only reason I even own this newer version is because, after countless emails and formal complaints, the company reluctantly threw me a 30% discount as a pity gesture. I fell for it. Do not make my mistake. This device does not do the bare minimum. It is not smart. It is not reliable. And frankly, I would not trust it to guard a closet, let alone my family's safety. This company is deeply flawed, and so is every product they sell. I am telling you once, and I will not repeat myself: do not buy this. Do not trust this brand with your home, your data, or your loved ones. Walk away now, while you still can.

No sub, bad AI
Big fan of the system without subscription and keeping the data local. However, the AI is so weak that you can’t call it AI. People are randomly picked. This morning, it told me a car mirror would be my daughter. It’s unfortunately not getting better. For me, it’s a basic camera system. AI is just a hype word and is not justified to be used in this context.
Crashing n delays
App crashes n have to keep reloading and now constantly getting delayed rings by the time u open the app the person is gone not the same line it use to be thinking off changing to different door bell / camera constant delays
Groene stekkertje
Sinds de laatste update van mijn eufy E340 is het groene oplaadstekkertje (icoontje) verdwenen ook in energiebeheer is het weg. Als je heel goed kijkt zie je dat dit wit is geworden van kleur. Op de witte achtergrond is het nog maar nauwelijks zichtbaar. Waarom iets wat goed is verslechteren in de app ?

Slow app response
I saw a 2 year old note on the app being slow and glitchy. Still there. Slow or impossible to access cameras without either closing and reopening the app or, in extreme cases, unplugging the hub. Obviously an issue when one is not home. Otherwise, good little cameras.
Used to work on the Mac - until Aug 12
I was so gratified to find a solution that would work on my Mac as well as my iPad and iPhone. But then on August 12 there was an update that refused to update on my M4 Mac. I understand it is "not verified for macOS" but it ran fine just a week ago and now it doesn't. It seems so inexplicable to break this compatibility. What a waste and a shame.
Good Vacuum- Too Loud
I have the E28 - The vacuum is good itself….there are 2 problems. 1) You go through a new vacuum bag in the base station every 2 days! This gets expensive. 2) The base station when sucking the dirt and debris from the robot…it’s really LOUD…too LOUD!

Many false events
E330 doorbell cam… their latest… will send endless notifications of vehicles moving on street even though active zone is far from street. Anker support…who takes 2-3 days to respond, says “we have reviewed the test results and can confirm that there have been instances of false triggers”. So what do they do?…they ask me repeatedly to keep sending them false notification videos …”to better understand and resolve the issue”. Why dont they set up THEIR OWN TESTS???? AND…the video it does record catches HALF of the event of the vehicle driving by. Go elsewhere for a security system…this one doesnt work and they don’t seem to be too interested in reproducing this themselves and fixing it. Update: Continuous ads every time you open the app. Does poorly with shadows notifying its a human. App info says app nay use your location even when not open?!?! Why is eufy spying on people unknowingly??
Honest review
So I have the baby camera it is the absolute best thing ever at such an affordable price the monitor is amazing and has great signal around the house but oh my god the app is honestly the worst, download the app for setting things up but don’t use it for day to day use I hear my baby cry before the app tells me, seriously app needs some major upgrades!!

Once a reasonable camera and app, now a clunker. Does not function without their proprietary, so-called ‘privacy’ network which seems off and on. Camera sensitivity inconsistent, unreliable or inoperative no matter what the app says. Flood of ads and ‘surveys’ in the app. App store should erase those old outdated reviews but instead…
Decepcionada
Estoy decepcionada con esta cámara, cuando lo instale todo bien, pero tengo como 2 meses con ella y ahora no capta ni me avisa cuando hay gente afuera de mi casa yo viendo por la ventana que hay gente y la cámara no hace seguimiento de ellos, ahora lo que hace avisa cuando quiere, pareciera que está muerta y fija, eh chacado siempre si tiene recarga de energía y está perfecta, cuál sería el problema? Totalmente decepcionada.
Activity zone request
This app is very easy to use! Could the activity zone feature of security be updated so that you can make a custom shape? A box doesn’t really work for where our camera is!! That would be great!!!
App sucks!
Using the app for a robot vacuum and all it does is go up and down the hall way, but the map shows that it has been in other rooms. This is the most useless app! I still use the older app, eufy clean, and that works fine. Thanks for nothing. The only reason I have it one star is that I can’t give it zero stars!
Slow notifications
I had fast service when my cameras were activated and I could talk to the person at my home. Now notifications come after the person has left and I cannot interact before they leave. I have faster broadband and all the upgrades but no solution
Nothing seems intuitive.
Example: there is a map editor, but when you go to the task and call it up, there is no option for changing the boundaries of rooms other than things like merge. If there is an option, I’m not seeing it.
Limited functions
I agree with the previous reviewer, the functions on the app are limited compared to others. Lack of ability to globally snooze all notifications, manual recordings are not saved on the home bases but transferred to the local phone storage and inconsistent performance of recordings.

AI package detection is garbage
Sure, I love getting hammered by dozens of “A package has been delivered”, “Your package was picked up” notifications when it hasn’t moved because your AI is awful and worthless.
Cross tracking is working great
14th June 2026 Update: I have an updated app and looks nicer but I would like to say that putting a small alarm button next to another small button, in this case a back button, is not good. My cameras are in another country and I don’t want to disturb neighbours because of accidentally hitting the wrong button. It is reminiscent of that animated movie where the President of the USA had a red unlabelled button to launch a nuclear attack and another red unlabelled button for coffee right next to the first button. 16th June Update. Just realised I can change the camera on the live view without exiting the view. Nice! Doorbell response is also a bit slow, which is difficult with inpatient delivery drivers. Unfortunately reviewing delivery drivers is almost pointless so would be good to improve the doorbell response time. 20th July: cross camera tracking is working… normal speed video playback in the app.
Events download fail constantly
Every time you try to download a video it fails. Odds are like 9 to 10 attempts fail.
Mostly works
The basic features of this Eufy App mostly work, but after that you are on your own. And the so-called Web Portal does not work at all.
Het werkt gewoon
Heel tevreden. Ik heb een tiental camera’s op verschillende sites en het werkt perfect. Enkel spijtig dat met via de “deurcamera” geen elektrisch slot kan sturen om vanop afstand de deur te kunnen opendoen.
Bad app, unstable
Eufy app desynched itself from my “smart” doorbell and now it’s impossible to reconnect. Nothing in this bloated garbage app works.
Great product
App itself is a little unreliable and unresponsive. It struggles to load up cameras in a timely response, sometimes delaying 10 seconds ( which could mean either someone knocking at door has left or already broken in before you can even get the app to load. Otherwise the product itself is premium and I have been using these cameras since 2020 and despite above comments Eufy are still top of my list for value for money.

The app too slow and slow at loading the doorbell and other cameras despite have great WiFi connectivity for example I have Eufy S4 solar camera connected to the Homebase S1 pro and when I try and load it on the app it’s says unable to connect even though WiFi is great

Customer support is a joke
Cameras work great so I thought I would purchase their cloud backup service. Big mistake!! Because I used Apple Pay and my email is different then the one I used to make an account with eufy I never received the service. You would think this would be a quick fix. Not!! They could not fix it so I asked for a refund. Now they are telling me they can’t refund me because I paid with Apple Pay 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Bloated
Like the cameras but the app is slow to load and takes up nearly a gig of storage why is it so Big?

Swapped to the eufy app from eufy clean because of the warnings inside eufy clean. New app is much slower and frequently pauses. It is much harder to check the accessory status of all my cleaning robots.
