Facilities
Can’t leave a comment on the app about service issues and it’s not taking the comments so I can’t get my issues resolved. I’ve already reported through the Concierge and through the maintenance group. I know that the Concierge will actually pursue a solution, but they are limited by what the maintenance cruise were able to complete
Pretty good app
Although it looks like mostly AI-generated, it does a good job. Though they did remove being able to order an extra bed/mattress. It’s still available, you just have to ask the hotel concierge in the app.
Since the update a lot of stuff broke
The app was very useful and quick for everything you needed. Now after the update. It’s harder to navigate. Yes they did make the map more Useful but if you reserve dining it doesn’t show in the agenda. But it will show the spa and excursions. The chat mode it has to discuss things with the hotel it just takes you to the palace elite main page. It did work once and I was able to chat with the hotel but now it’s broken. I will update if It’s fixed before my vacation is over but just like the punta Cana resort. It needed another year before launch.

How great this app is
This is a great app to use for the resort. I have been to other resorts before and use their app and those apps have not been the most consistent but this one always delivers whether it’s room service, requesting maintenance setting up reservations for your dinner and even checking out all the different activities that they have going on.
If I Could Give A ZERO I Would
I have spent the last 3 weeks trying to get my legal name put into this App. No matter how many emails and being told it’s done, IT’S NOT! So I can’t digitally check in look at excursions, I won’t be able to make dining reservations, etc. Just another Palace FAIL!!!!! I’ve been a member for over 20 years and I have been disappointed with the sales, member services staff ALL of the years. The only saving grace is the Hotel Wait Staff, the cleaning staff and the people that actually run the hotel for the customers.
Palace app
I love the app. It keeps getting better and better however, there is one flaw for Diamond and residence members with the new app, you cannot view The Grand when staying at Nizuc or Sunrise this is huge and needs to be rectified soon.
No need to use app
The app doesn’t allow you to really manage anything just look at what you’ve already reserved. App sucks and hotel is not much better
Review for the App only
Good looking app so far, but does need more improvements. We were not able to make Spa reservations through the even though we sent the request through the the app good thing we went to spa a day early to ask for information we found out that they do not see those requests and we have to schedule through the coordinator. The main problem for me is they say you have all these credits, but there's no way to view resort or Universal credits within the app. I also can't find any clear information on when or how those credits can be used. Overall, the experience makes it hard to confidently plan or take full advantage of the trip.
Amazing Vacation
My name is Kendrick and I will tell you about my vacation and it is set in The Grand moon Palace in the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana. I would like to give a shout out to Emiry an Amazingly nice person she made my days, she always found a way to make you smile. And to Emiry if you see this, yes it’s the Teen with the Glasses at the arcade and I want to say thank you so much.

Many Improvements but still some frustrations
Please allow a Diamond or Residence member staying at Sunrise or Nizuc to be able to view the schedules at The Grand while in your reservation. Currently you are restricted to only seeing Sunrise and Nizuc while staying at Nizuc as a Residence member reservation.
Map could be useful, but it isn’t
This resort is so large, it is difficult to get to where you want to be. The map portion of the app has the potential to be useful, but it struggles loading and it doesn’t tell you how to get to locations. It will only show you the general area, which really isn’t that helpful. With a resort this size, it would be helpful to either highlight the location or (even better) show a path/give directions on how to get there.

The app is great with the big exception of no breakdown of room charges and no way to call the front desk, other than just ringing and ringing and no one picks up to give you a breakdown.
Saloon services by RAQUEL at sunrise saloon
I have recently stayed at room number 5212 at Nizuc. I came for my manicure and pedicure services at Sunrise saloon. RQQUEL did great job doing my acrylic nails. I recommend her for her best service whoever wants to do their service. Thank you so very much for your best service. Hetarthi
Vacation factory
Nothing operates efficiently. The resort is pretty but far from finished. My son was injured by the unfinished pool deck. The unfinished resort came with a credit to Come back. We paid for 4 nights and the voucher was only for 3…that level a cheapness is in every experience. Some staff was rude. Also leave 30-60 minutes for check out since every employee acts like Zoolander in front of their computer.
Very Helpful But a Little Clunky to Navigate
The app itself is very helpful and pretty useful for things like booking reservations, and planning activities. My main complaints are related to the maps function of the app. When I open an activity on my calendar, I should also have the option to click the location of that activity so it shows me how to get there. I had to keep exiting my calendar to search the map for my activities which was time-consuming. Also, I should have the ability to view the calendars of the other people in my reservation to make group planning easier.
This App is absolutely worthless.
There are too many things wrong with this App to describe. We don't even use it when we stay at a Palace resort because it is worthless.
Not able to look up suggested topic
The app before it was updated was more user friendly with live on time ETA’s on orders and quick guide steps. Now it’s constantly digging through different buttons and options to find the needed info.

Not user friendly
I do not see what time the gym opens, or what menu of food each restaurant offers. It just mentions the type whether Mexican Italian… For this typr of hotel, I would have expected much much much more. Each time you go back from a detailed list, your filter gets reset which is annoying Lacks of detailed information
App doesn’t really help
If you try to book a restaurant, you can only do it one day prior to your arrival. Let’s say you arrive on the 10th, you can only book the restaurants on the 9th. However guests who arrived on (for example) the 5th can book the same restaurant you want to book for the night of your arrival. This potentially means you might only be able to book a table late in the evening, so instead of 6pm you might have to book a table at 8pm because existing guests book the 6pm/7pm slots. To book a spa service, paid tour or paid outdoor activities in advance …not an issue.

Good app. Lots of features that make accessibility an ease but it keeps giving me an error every time I wanna give a good recommendation to a worker at the resort.

Navigation is very hard to use both walking and for riding.
Cannot View Restaurants in Other Resorts
With the new update we can no longer view which restaurants are in other resorts and its very unhelpful as we would like to see them before purchasing the DayPass

Not good
While the idea is excellent and could be very useful due to some things getting lost in translation between guest and employees, the app functionality is so slow…takes minutes, not 1-2, but much more for each page to turn and load. I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes to view my bill!
Great place and amenities, annoyingly busy
Very, very clean. Polite and friendly staff. Food is well above average but not stunning. Lots to do( huge space for the grand on its own). Dowside is that it is way too busy. Good luck trying to reserve a restaurant or find a table or book a bowling lane. App needs improvement. Sluggish and not accurate.
A joke of an app
Doesn’t load. Can’t book spa times, just ask for a phone call. Room service ordering from 6-8pm won’t load. As a 25 yr premier member who works in tech, this needs a ton of work. Do better. You should be at the level of an airline to book, adjust and add on services.
Problematic and ineffective
This app is frustrating-insists I am under 18 and not allowed to make dinner reservations even though I am listed as a member and am 72 years old! My husband cannot even enter it or take his email addresss or accept the spelling of his last name😬. The old app was better, and service from a real person was even better yet!
Agenda functionality
The app is great and very useful. It would be nice to be able to share agenda items like reservations and activities and tours with another room number so it can show up on multiple agendas at once
Don’t
This app provides no information and no services you can’t do by speaking to a person. They take your data, advertise to you regularly and sell your info. The maker of the app should beg the general public for the privilege of committing seppuku to offset the dishonor they did the whole human race.

Frustrating app. It is constantly changing. You need to keep the reservations included under agenda as well as list of reservations!!
APP Not users friendly
After 3 visits at guests services ( total 2 hours). They try with the teck department, and at the end they said you can’t use the APP with a tablet ( I pad ) so only with cel phone! 🤔
Best resort ever
Out of my vacations, this one is the best. I’m about to go for my 4th time. My favorite is the grand. It’s is worth the cost.

Keeps crashing ever since I was forced to update it.
Missing Features
The latest update removed several features from the room service menu. I can’t order replenishment for the minibar and the aromatherapy and pillows menus are gone. I do like the changes to the agenda.

The app is glitchy. Does not consistently offer all features. For example- booking reservations some times will allow booking for today and tomorrow and others only for today. Showed up for events showing on the app to have staff say the events were replaced with another at an alternate location 2 hours previous. Resort itself is great. Odd concern here and there but that’s anywhere.
Excellent Resort App
Palace Corp. kudos to your software development staff for an excellent easy to use app. We have used it for multiple trips and it has performed flawlessly. The interface for dining reservations I find particularly easy yo use.
Not Helpful at all
I logged into the app to see my membership, and nothing would come up. The app just spun and spun, and never showed me my membership details

Trying to use this app and it’s slow loading. We are coming august 30.

I like the potential of the new app. Layout is great. Really like the addition of the maps. Like the options to book things. But none of that matters if it crashes every time I hit the chat button, or try to check in. For all the people reviewing the resort itself, you are on the wrong site for that.
