Good
Game is very high-tech, but they need to add more forming stuff like rice or seaweed farms and I also like if they added more like religious things like churches, temples and different like how they look at stuff and I was like also, the worlds could be bigger
Stole gold
The game stole my gold. This game lost my interest. I would not recommend anymore. You have an exchange to get gold yet you steal mine. I do not see any future in this game now.
A few small problems
The city and graphics are awesome, the buildings are great, but there are a few small problems. First of all, the land gets really expensive after you unlock more than a hundred tiles, and after 200 unlocked pieces of land, it is costing more than a million, which is kind of wasting my money. Secondly, before level 100, the gold was worth 100,000 silver, but after level 100, it is worth a million silver. I had a lack of gold before, and now I cannot build multiple special buildings. Lastly, my games keeps lagging sometimes when I visit other cities, and the fires I put out do not get saved when I get back in the game. Overall, it is an awesome game, but you should fix the three things and keep the land at 50,000 silver until you unlock all of the land in the map. P.S the map is too small
It is a little unrealistic
Yes very addictive game….. but I mean I have to place fire, health, police, etc stations all over the place! I think it works like it can take whatever is in a circle radius but I mean like what? The pollution simulation is broken too! You have to place parks everywhere just so the red thing on the buildings doesn’t take your happiness down. Tried a Central Park approach in my downtown with strong parks, it did nothing. My skyline looks too spread out and the demand for pay to win is insane, if your new just give up. Gold is where all of it ends up. Which you have to get hundreds which takes weeks? Half the game is real re is barely a creative side.

The old designer city had realism, this game doesn’t and the graphics are terrible 😢 and it has lost 80% of its selection for buildings but it has only one 1️⃣ good 👍 thing that it is still fun.

Won’t load when I’m online

How bad was the game
So ever since I played this game, I’m trying to build a highway, and I found that there nothing about highway, I can’t even build an Avenue!!! I hope that the game will understand, and please add things about it, thank you. I’m chinese and please add buildings from china, thank you.

In the next update please add more industrial buildings and more decorations. For special buildings add Shanghai tower, the shard, Shanghai ifc mall, forbidden city and transamerica pyramid:)
Update killed my game and no support help
There was an update and I lost all my gold coins and money I built up to run my city .. was very disappointing and the links to email support don’t work..
both this and 1 are good games, but 1 is better in my opinion
1 is a great great game and id thought id try this too. its an okay game but the cirst one is better.
Freezes but good otherwise
Love the game and graphics but it’s constantly crashing. Can’t play for more than a few minutes without crash. I have plenty of storage, so not the issue. After getting 2.5 million people, I’m ready to quit due to frustration

Sneaky reduction of Total Collectible Money (Minor Unintentional Bug solved later)
After the latest update I noticed my hourly income remained the same BUT the amount of Total Collectible Money was reduced by more than 50%. This is unacceptable. I do not know why dev had to do this but I guess they needed more screen on time and more frequent game login to generate more ad money. Edit:The clarification provided by the developer is correct as I also carefully analysed maximum Total Collectible Money and found it to be unchanged. Thank you.
My game was reset as well
The most recent update, which does not use Apple Game Center but an email system, has reset my data— I lost my city, all my purchases (everything I had was already unlocked) and all my money and gold (in the many billions)… please advise how I can recover my city.

Trees on path disappear when zoomed out. They glitch through buildings momentarily when zoomed in

Im having a problem securing my city. After I put in my email I get the code number. I type in the numbers and there is no return key to allow me to confirm the code. Any suggestions?

MY GAME HAS BEEN RESET. In terms of metrics,money, gold and everything except for buildings. THAT too some buildings have been misplaced. I hope you guys look into bringing back my data. And I’ve made so much progress. I used to have 400 billion dollars worth of progress. Most of it wiped. I worked so hard. Please restore my account. I’m addicted and love this game but everything changed when the latest update deleted some if the progress

I keep getting a message saying “newer save detected….saving has been disabled” so now my progress will be lost if I move forward. Don’t know what to do?
Improvement suggestions
Fun, but if you’re OCD, these changes would be helpful to not drive you nuts … 1. Water, allow us to place more than 1 at a time. 2. Landscaping… rocks, geysers, and hot springs would help to fix imperfections with multiple mountains or just adding depth. 2. If you pull something out of your warehouse, auto take from the warehouse if you have more than 1 building. It’s a pain to find an item, place it and then find it again for each item. 3. Roads… allow overpasses and tunnels the ability to turn. So you can create an exit curve. 4. Allow the items that can be placed in water the ability to change from land or sea without having to move it. 5. Better color choices. Preferably better sand, grass and the ground designs.
Great but needs more buildings that are Chinese
I’ve been playing since I was 4 and the experience was great. Ever since I had been to Shanghai I was obsessed and wanted to build it until I hit a roadblock. In 2025 there were only like the Shanghai WFC and I’m happy that you added more like the Oriental Pearl tower but it still needs a key building called Shanghai Center or Shanghai Tower. If you did add it thanks but I know you are honing to add it soon. :)

With the parks that u unlock by doing games. With them both imma start w the chess one. U cannot win! I’m extremely good at chess and played more than 12 times and COULDNT get it. The second one the ball one. THERE IS NO END! U CANT FINISH IT! It makes me mad…otherwise the city is rlly good but!! The gold coins r very hard to get.!!!!!!!!!!

Great game, but we need an amusement park!
As a new player, I am really enjoying this game! However, I really want to build an amusement park for my city. I've been looking for roller coasters, exciting rides, and beautiful animations, but I can't find them anywhere. Are they not added to the game yet? I would love to see this feature in a future update. Does anyone else want this too?

Great game, however I’m not able to add anything to my warehouse. I click on a building, and then click the warehouse button in the bottom right corner, and it will show my warehouse, but won’t add my building.

Loved the original game and still mess with my city today, was excited to find number 2 until I started playing it! There are far to many buildings that require payment in gold which when you are starting out unless you pay for it is hard to get? Can’t exchange food for gold on this game which is poor as 90% of game purchases are in gold.

Hi y’all, CoopMan2121 here. I just want to say that if you are reading this, GET THIS GAME. It’s absolutely amazing. The graphics are awesome, game barely ever crashes (and if it does your city is saved.) Lots and lots and LOTS of buildings. Also, transportation is a big part. Passenger trains, cargo trains, cargo ships, planes, F-18s; even Apache helicopters! Empire State Building, Burj Khalifa, you name it. If it’s a famous building, it’s on there! Great game, really complex but easy to quickly understand. Analytics and stats, it’s awesome. I must say that I have two main problems. Number one, population control. When you build a house or apartment of whatever, people come, right? No problem. But I added a house similar to what I live in (two story suburban), and the amount of residents is like 30. WHAT!? Are they shoved in the halls of the house? Also it is really hard to grow the population. I have nearly covered the map, made districts, and yet I’m at 250k. How? It would be nice if people came to your city while you were offline. You know, some new task, building homes for them and giving them jobs. The other thing is transportation. Aviation is great; cars are great. But then you have the boats and trains. The boats are like stubborn or something. They rarely go into the canals I have twisting through the city. They are wide enough, yet they barely go through! Also it would be nice if the ships came and docked. And maybe add tug boats or even barges. Navy ships are fine they like the canals. Submarines; it would be cool if they left their port every now and then. The trains are weird too. Are they flying? They literally take flight over the cars. I build overpasses to make it realistic. Also it would nice if the monorail came back. These are not complaints, just things I am confused about. Awesome game though. Sphere Game Studios, you have outdone yourselves on this game. first one was better

Just as challenging and creative as version 1, but needs more items
After playing Designer City v.1 for two full cycles and starting a third one, I find that this version two is very interesting. It offers nice challenges and it is frankly a relief that diaminds have been eliminated, since they made acquiring the top tier buildings very difficult in v.1. But it’s still in an earlier version than v.1, and consequently does lack some variety in its parks, special buildings and even trees. I am eagerly awaiting the next update.
The original is better
The graphics in designer 2 is too cartoonish in comparison to designer 1. It’s hard to jump from one version to the next.

I really enjoy both of games, but I don’t like it when I’m getting all the time that I don’t have enough police services or fire services. I’m finding as the levels get higher and more things open up to me I forget what there is.

This is an excellent game but the recent updates mean in now crashes while loading on iOS 10 this is a massive shame that it crashes If it wasn't for the crashes this game would easily get 5 Stars
