The premise sounds fun, but the money grabs are so blatant that you really cannot succeed without paying to advance. Everything you do will result in an ad to pay for advancement. It is pay to win garbage. Do yourself a favor and just skip it.

After a while you fill up your warehouse and you will never be able to empty it enough to carry on. Then you are stuck and nowhere to go but spend lots of money.

Too Many Sale Icons
There are so many icons on either side of the screen pushing to sell something and watch videos (you can only see directly in front of you because there’s so many). And then pop-ups appear selling tons of different things… Literally! Too bad but it got really old really fast.

Fun game but a few minor graphical issue
I’ve been playing this game for more than year now and it’s just right. I would like to see some small fixes made though. When buying things in the market, the items are too close to each other. When you scroll you accidentally purchase them. Spread them out. Also the ships run into the monsters in the river when they leave the dock.

Awful game that’s no fun
This game has TOO MANY features and every one of them has a way for them to make money. I understand that’s how these games work, but this one takes it to an extreme. The team I joined didn’t speak or interact in any way. I couldn’t figure out how to leave the team, so I just quit the game. The game was not that different than a thousand others out there. I couldn’t even bear to give it two stars, because I couldn’t come up with anything I liked. They are trying to do WAY too much and their “helpers” that explain are just annoying. None of it is done well or entertaining.

This game could be rated with 5 stars, had it not been such an obvious money grabbing game. Certain things you simply HAVE to buy with real money. Sad, because in itself the game has a good concept and was fun to play for a couple of hours. After that, not so much. Too bad.
Fun, Smooth, and Relaxing
Steam City is a nice game to play when you’re just trying to pass the time. I like that there are tokens available to speed up and expedite production, which helps keep the gameplay moving. I would love to see cross-device play added so progress could carry from phone to desktop, similar to other games I play. Overall, the graphics are appealing, gameplay is smooth, and ads are optional and don’t slow down progression
To costly
The game can be fun but at every chance they get they try to push and force you to spend money. I have 14 different tasks that take so long to do that it pushes you to spend money on them and even then you don’t get all of it permanently just appeared to Time. I would say 3/10
Could be better
I like playing this game but what I don’t like about it is being forced into following the tutorial in the mining event when it pops up because I should be able to close out of it if I don’t want to do it without being forced to follow the tutorial until I can close out. Same thing with most of the other pop up where I just want to click on the x to close out instead of being forced to follow the instructions. Most of the time I want to be able to open the game and play right away without having to keep closing everything before I can actually play it thanks for your time

Error, not receiving items
In-app purchases are currently broken. I have been charged multiple times and received nothing. The app shows a verification error (“IOS_no_transaction”) and this is happening across multiple apps from the same developer. Support links in the app do not work. Do NOT spend money here until this is fixed.

I liked the game, but the text was too small to read without a magnifying glass. Make a larger print version.
Brilliant game until you get established
Started game at over 35000 people and now it stops or you have to build a tower/building that is impossible to build completely and they are getting bigger so you have to find space for them. If you are a millionaire this game you could play but as I’m not, I’ve stopped playing because £10 every 14days I can’t afford on a game, tried it once made game enjoyable but way too expensive just for a game.

Too Guided
While this game is fantastic, it’s too ‘guided’. It keeps forcing me to see all these event dialogue scenes, and all I want to do is maintain my town. I wish you guys would make it so it doesn’t force you to see all this event stuff, as well as force me to click certain things. I JUST WANT TO SEE MY TOWN. Thank you.

Real Dollaz
The game looks beautiful and I've tried several times to play it. UNFORTUNATELY, within the first 10 mins or so I get stuck. Trying to gather resources to build the 'shops' the resources are coming from and then, OF COURSE, you have whip out your credit card and start spending REAL DOLLAZ to continue playing. Why so soon? I get that you need to make money for all the hard work spent to build the game, BUT, give a MF'r a chance to play for awhile before you start putting your hand out for the person's CC. Let me get hooked first. Don't make it SOOOOOO hard to progress a bit and then I'll happily pay a reasonable amount to play. More and more.

Change in game
When I use my iPad, I cannot get the videos anymore for added bonuses or for finishing tasks. I used to be able to do that with my iPad. I still can’t do that on my phone, but it’s just more convenient to play on my iPad. Wondering why the change? I have played this game for over two years and would like to see that part fixed

Can’t play sometimes it won’t let me sign in, I have been playing this game for a while I don’t know what to do.
Nerviges gezappel
Laufend wird man zugepflastert mit Anforderungen. Man kann das Spiel nicht einmal entdecken. Stadtplanung zwangsvorgeschrieben und man ist nur mit einsammeln und bestellen beschäftigt. Dafür hat eine Stadt Personal und das macht nicht der Bürgermeister selber. Grafik ganz nett, aber wenn ich etwas machen will keine change. Unter einem Entwicklungsspiel stelle ich mir etwas anderes vor. Außerdem ist der P2W Faktor überzogen. Wird gelöscht.
Poorly balanced
Great game and lots of fun to play for free. You can pay and make your life easier and that’s worth it too. However, the balancing of the production is atrocious. Whoever planned out the materials required for each needs to fired. Not only does it not make sense practically but also in game as well. It makes you want to quit the game which is annoying cause it’s a fun concept.
