Destroyed The game
The game its self has turned into a micro transaction hellscape, to even upgrade 1 building you need 100, 50 megabux which can be bought with $$$, and to even do basic things you need "tokens" which require you to do more pay to win stuff, this game used to be "ok" until you added 10 INDIVIDUAL SEPARATE BATTLE PASSES
Why did you change it?
Why did you change the game? 5 years ago it was the best city game now the latest updates are just horrible. One of the things are I’ve spent a lot of money for the furniture store but now it’s gone. Plz bring the old megalopolis back. Plz respond back to me soon

I played this game a long time ago. Today, I redownloaded the game, and I got put in my old save file. It has been a long time, so I looked to try to find a way to restart the game and redo the tutorial. Unfortunately, there is no way to do so. I would have played this game for at least a couple weeks if this wasn’t the case. Well designed game, I like the graphics, but no reset button.
Latest update .
With the last update for the military bases . I had equipment build up for all the bases sub, aircraft, personnel carriers. It’s all gone . Have to start from scratch. That’s garbage.

Amazing
Used to be a Great Game
I started this game probably over a decade ago when I was starting High School and it was super addicting and great. After not playing it after a year or so I’ve come back to so many weird updates. The airport/helicopter and warehouse is horrible. The amount of stuff you need to do to build and do project is ridiculous. Unless you’re actually spending insane amounts of money on the game it’s not worth it. You use to be able to just build and create your city without a lot of fuss and that’s not possible anymore. Not to mention. with all the projects and specials taking place at any given time your screen is taken up with a bunch of nonsense not letting you see much of your screen. So sad seeing this game wither away.

Все полезное пространство занято всякими скидками/акциями, испытаниями. Лучше бы вернули как раньше, одна панель слева и хватит, а не 8 иконок слева и еще 4 горизонтальных справа. Глаза букавально теряются

Used to be a fun game to play but now it’s such a long process to do anything graphics are really good it’s such a shame that you have to do a lot of things to level things up
Love this game but
I absolutely love this game, but I’m at part where it wants me to to build something, but I don’t have the resources to build it and it just freezes and won’t let me get out of it. I’ve reached out by email and have received no response. Please help even if I have to reset. Update: they were able to fix the issues in 3 days and I get to play again I’m so excited to start playing again
the update is absolute disaster
After the recent game update my cloud save account got forced into a retroactive mandatory beginner housing tutorial. The tutorial window locks the entire game UI completely, all buttons including close and back are disabled. I clicked the required residential building icons hundreds of times with zero response, the tutorial interaction system is totally broken. I reinstalled the game and even logged in on PC but the forced account lock still exists. I have literally no idea how you guys came up with such a genius idea to release such a wonderful update that ruined the whole city.

Been playing it for a while now level 110. Would like to be able to buy buildings that were for a limited time. Maybe some more capital based buildings like London to be available to buy from infrastructure and residential
Frustrating updates
The game is becoming overwhelming, and the constant updating is cool but also makes it hard to navigate. For instance, I am not even allowed to play the game at this moment because there is no “continue” button through the update dialogue. I am just stuck clicking everywhere on the screen to get through the opening dialogue. I am clicking EVERYTHING and nothing is working. I’ve tried restarting the app and everything. Also the app support is NONEXISTENT. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER: I did contact support and nothing has changed. I emailed and messaged the chat.
latest upgrade not improved much
I’ve been playing this for years, the hanging up in the latest version has cleared up now, but if the playability doesn’t improve to like it used to be I’ll just delete it

Not worth it
This game used to be rewarding and visually appealing to play but now it has turned into a chore that takes an insurmountable amount of time to complete even the small projects in the game. Even when you’re trying to progress naturally, they heavily monetize everything to let your city build faster but the in game benefits are not even worth buying. Each update ruins a component of the game, turning it into a RNG style of leveling up to collect these “tokens” to complete a building. This game used to have a soft spot for me but it has been entirely ruined by whoever is running the team now
Great Game But
One of my favorite games, if I was rich it would be even better lol. My only complaint is that certain builds just take a ridiculous amount of materials, which are already hard to get without having friends on there to help gift the needed items, and or just straight up paying for them with megabucks / = real money. But finding a decent amount of active players to play with and help is another challenge in itself. Overall game play is addicting but very slow if you are free to play and have to actually grind for everything. Best tips i can give are…. Do not start too many events or infrastructure projects at once. Start one and finish before trying to start another, if not, next thing you know you have abunch of stuff going on, which remember, most take time (real life days/weeks) to compete unless you’re rich lol. Also, make sure to complete the tasks for the airport / train / truck routes. Bets way to obtain those special items. And make sure you expand your warehouse!
Formerly great game ruined by removal of free features
I’ve been a daily player for nearly 14 years but this last update might be what gets me to quit this game. Ending the daily gift items is a shame. It will now be impossible to build anything without paying loads of money. I no longer have any incentive to log in to play each day.
Changing
This game used to be fantastic. I have played it almost every day for about 10 years. I feel like the producers have lost their way slightly as the spacecraft and research vessels I took so long to complete can no longer be used unless you spend huge amounts of time producing materials, or spend huge sums of money. Stop being greedy. The daily gifts have dwindled over that time too. Now it seems reluctant to allow me to watch a video to receive three free gifts. If that stops then so will I. Please think about what you’re doing to this once incredible game.

Updating now…. God I hope you guys actually tested this time.. well I mean after 12 years I do not believe you do any QA, UAT, regression you just make an update push it out close your eyes and just run with the disaster. This game WAS a good game years ago
Needs work.
So the game I have played since it started and it’s been a brilliant game but over the last year a few issues now. The +3 each has now disappeared and the grabbing bits from your locker has gone very slow.
Disappointed long time player
I’ve been playing this game for over 12 years but think it’s time to stop. The updates over the last few years have gradually taken away the enjoyment of building a city and the latest update removed the daily free gifts players received at login. I understand games want users to make purchases but to make it almost a requirement for advancement turns the game into a cash grab ruining the incentive to play.

What’s needed to complete certain buildings takes way too much effort in my opinion. You need to revert things back to how it was closer to the beginning of the gameplay

Game is going downhill
Played this game for many years and the changes have gotten horrible. It’s getting so complicated with no real instructions on how each of these new things work. Most of the time things don’t work like getting free parts needed to upgrade what your working to build ( it just freezes up most of the time) and the mine for gold, silver, copper etc freezes up and won’t give up the tools to mine. Nothing is marked so you have to click on a million building to find which one is for what storage or warehouse. I’ve tried to build military items and buildings only to click on to be told stuff is locked until something needs to get done but no way to find out how to do it. JUST NOT USER FRIENDLY ANYMORE !
Pros and Cons
On the one hand, this is the largest, most comprehensive city building game I have ever seen. Every time I look around I see some other section that I've never noticed before...which is amazing. However, After 90 days of playing, I'm realizing it takes a LOT of money to move forward even a little. Most buildings need to be updated 3-5 times before they are fully functional....and I think there are hundreds of buildings. Finally, there is no Facebook or other "community " to ask questions of...and it is easy to be confused by this complex game. I'll still play for a little while, but I can see that it would be easy to get frustrated with a lack of progress.

Lowkey I kinda like the new update but I missed how it looked 6-8 years ago I remember it being simpler and easier and yes the new update is okay but I wish y’all would’ve keep that style instead of changing it completely even with the game mechanics

I have been a player for a long time and have spent a lot of money on this game but have been very disappointed lately these past 4-5 months with the new buildings, graphics, the removal of the wheel of fortunes, and removal of events where you’d buy a ton of buildings for a few to a dozen megabucks once or twice a month. I personally believe that these “projects” buildings are great designs but seem like a money grab and not worth 2,000 points each, etc. The game needs to change back to the way it was in 2015-2021.

I’ve been playing this game for almost 6 years now and seeing this game add new things in to builds has been very annoying. I don’t want to get a resource to build something because every time I do the resource needs a resource that also needs a resource from another resource. I just want to build a city, CHILL OUT!!
The best App ever
Am playing Megapolis now for 12 years…and honestly, this App really helped me to calm myself down and while playing…to me it’s very therapeutic…!
Unplayable and low quality updates
After many years of playing this game, it’s finally unplayable. I’m stuck at a tutorial that I can’t skip due to the game glitching and not registering anything and making it impossible to bypass anything. These updates are poorly made with no confirmation that it’s actually working for most people. Years of playing this game only for it to lock me out. I wish I could give 0 stars since the game is way to complex than what it used to be. Overwhelming updates that are timed and pull you away from actually expanding your city, I just want the simple city expansion and that’s it. No I do not wish to participate in the new spacex launch event, no I don’t wanna buy a new dlc that will let me play the game normally. But now that this game is dead to me I’m not coming back and changing my review. Good luck.

This is a great game, I have been playing it for a very long time. However I find it very frustrating when an update is done but then effects what you have been working on and all the hard work for weeks is gone.. maybe you should communicate the changes before implementing

Fix game
Tutorial made me pick of some items in the train thing but my storage was full so Im stuck in the train screen not able to do anything because of the required tutorial and full storage.

What has just happened!! I have just had to install yet another update. I then elected to build the new post office. I clicked on the 10 megabucks green bar thinking it was a free gift for the post office event, only to find that every single one of my accumulated megabucks & coins have instantly been taken away from my account. How is right or fair???!!!! I want them all replaced, as they represent years of faithful gameplay, and you have just wiped them all out with an update!! I have been penalised because I chose to take part in one of your special events. Again, how is that right or fair!!!! On top of that, I have now been locked out the game for the next 3hrs!!! This an extremely poor way to treat your loyal players.

Absolutely enjoyed grinding this out in 2020-2022 before my old device died out on me. Just downloaded on my new one and I’ve found, at my high level, I’m effectively softlocked from expanding my territory and developing my city further. The resources used to expand are arduous to obtain and I’ve been locked behind a system where I need to build enough things that require their own materials to build. These are similarly rare and I needed HUNDREDS of them, which would require paying HUNDREDS of dollars if I wanted to brute force it! I’d love to continue playing I can’t grow and expand my city anymore without wasting another year just to be able to do so. I’ll go play a game that moves faster than this in the meantime.

Recently installed the game and won’t let me click the send button after the tutorial told me to click successful tender on the order board
A great cityscape
The last update on has altered this game immensely, you should rename it MINEAPOLIS, too many tasks are required now around the airport. The simulation of planes taking off is replaced with a tow truck and trailer. It is now difficult to obtain materials without mining. Why is this being done in the city and not in the industrial area.? I am really disappointed, I really loved this game and give it 5 Stars in the old format, now sadly three. Why destroy a thoroughly good game model.? Sadly it is no longer about building a city, it used to be fantastic.

This is a great game. Definitely an investment because of how much content there is. HOWEVER playing after long breaks can be really difficult, overwhelming AND should you choose to reset your progress it takes 30 days?! Surely that’s ridiculous. (This information was provided by the games Help bot) Please consider reducing it to as little time as possible. We don’t want to have to wait a month to play again… many will just lose interest.
