Frequently get an error when trying to log in. Happens the most early in the morning.
Timeout messages
To the developer; when the connection times out, just go back to the login screen and don’t put up those dialog boxes…it introduces friction into the experience. These ALWAYS pop up when not using the app (like the next day). The last first thing we want is to be greeted with the error messages when we know we are logged out due to lack of activity. You know you can do better

Signing in
I constantly get an “error” message when trying to log in. Super frustrating when I’m trying to check my balance. I shouldn’t have to sign in 20 times or wait hours before it decides to let me log in.

Can't figure out how to switch the app from vertical to horizontal display on the tablet. Annoying. Appreciate you asking for a review.
This is NOT an iPad app
For some reason, CCU has an app that it claims is for iPad. It's not. It's clearly for iPhone and you have to rotate the screen to view it. This seems just lazy and it's been years. Make a better app, please, or don't pretend this is an iPad app.
App is good, but..
The app is quite good, but secure login with fingerprint no longer works. When launching a message box tells you to press for access but then a message in red says it is invalid. You then have to manually entee your user ID and password.

Terrible experience
Face ID doesn’t work. Regular login doesn’t work. Why even have an app?
Face recognition unreliable
Every time I go to use the facial recognition feature, it does not function. The phone number that is given to remedy the problem merely states it isn’t their problem, it is the app provider.

It’s fine but could be better
As far as I can tell (and I’ve checked everywhere on the app), there’s no way to deposit a checking using the app. How is this not an option? What am I missing?

Crashes constantly
Nothing will load up properly and it crashes every time I try to use it. I’ve tried activating the quick balances feature and that just gives me an error message. I can’t get this app to work for me. :(
Archaic App
This app does the job, but I’ve been meaning to switch credit unions after almost 30 years because of it. It isn’t reliable and the setup really needs streamlined and updated. I hope they make the change soon for their members.
Working Well
By consolidating almost all of our business under one roof with good electronic funds transfer in and out, we’ve been able to keep most of our transactions electronic. Still a few issues with legacy transactions but staff has taken care of them. Now if CCCU could allow Canadian checks to be deposited, we’d have another desirable capability.
Needs an update.
This app looks and feels old and outdated. Update your app to make it more user friendly as well, it feels very retro.
NEEDS UPDATED. Creates problems with my budgeting apps
I use other apps like Digit and Monarch to manage my finances (because Collins doesn’t work with Mint for some reason). These apps use a tool called Plaid to securely link bank accounts and credit cards to their system. Since the app’s last update, which was 2 months ago, my account keeps getting disconnected from my budgeting apps. I called to ask about this, and apparently they’re aware of the issue but there’s no clear timeline for getting it solved. I get that it’s a challenge for a smaller institution to keep up with these things, but man they sure are putting a LOT of resources toward renovating and building new branches… All I know is I need to see my finances a lot more often than I need to stop in to cash a check, so I’d rather see them prioritize the mobile experience.
Changing password
This is frustrating. I know we need to continually change our password because of theft. However the duration of time in between requiring a password change is in my opinion a little short. Also the fact that we can’t use older passwords from 3 changes ago is alittle strict. I don’t know how online theft works because I’m not one but it seems I’m running out of passwords. And remembering them at vital times when you really need your online account (weekends) has been a real challenge. Especially because you only get 3 attempts before your locked out. It’s just not realistic. It has left me stranded on holiday weekends (when out of town) and seriously made me question my desire to be apart of this credit union. If these policies need to stay in place then you need to provide a call center open through weekends to solve these issues as they occur. Hopefully you that are reading consider my concerns. Thanks

why aren’t we able to turn our cards on and off as we please. like it’s 2023. i was able to do with with wells fargo. veridian allows us to do it like bffr.
Hard to use
This app makes you change your password every other time you log in and eventually I won’t have anymore passwords I will be able to remember!

The app has been a super helpful and efficient way to handle my money. All staff are super helpful with any app issues too.

Honestly been the worst banking experience of my life, been stuck w them 6 years. And the only helpful friendly employee I’ve ever dealt with moved on.
