Unreliable
I have used this program several years because I liked the recipes & the workouts were good but the app frequently freezes or has issues but with the latest”update” they did, it won’t work at all for the conveniences you pay for like making your shopping lists & it won’t change measurement conversions from metric so I have to manually do the conversions. No help when reaching out to site for a fix.
Amazing app - just 1 improvement
I am really loving this app, I like being able to have my meals and work outs planned for me and that this is simple and they will even add the ingredients to a shopping list. It makes my life easy and I love that. One thing I would really like is to see people who are more flexitarian to have an easier time of incorporating meat occasionally, for instance, only for lunch time meals for either of these options 1. Probably the simplest fix, is to have an option to swap to a meat based meal when on the vegetarian option (this could be achieved by having the veg option filter always on, with the option to turn it off for those that want it) 2. Allow preferences to be allocated for specific meals on the regular meal plan type I.e veg breakfast and dinner regular lunch. 3. Create a flexitarian meal preference option. I know this is probably niche but it would really improve this for me, I eat full meat but my partner is vegetarian. This would simplify meal planning for us while trying to be health conscious, which is predominantly what we use the app for

Great Content, Bad App Experience
I really love Emily Skye’s content for fitness and nutrition, especially for pregnancy and postpartum. I’m 3/3 using these plans to stay fit before and after giving lbirth to my babes and have used the normal workouts between kids too. They’re all fabulous. And I’ve also found some of my favorite recipes on here. However the app experience has been going downhill. It’s progressively gotten more glitchy and I’m often having to close the app and reopen it to get things to work again. I can hardly ever cross meals off on my planner which isn’t really the biggest deal ever but does really aggravate me. (I’m a big checklist person) The content is good enough that I still pay for the app and have no plans to quit using it unless it truly becomes unusable but I do wish the experience were smoother.
Amazing!
She has been through it with me from low to high. I have been doing her programs for 11 years now on and off. The program and app are amazing from the exercises to the food.
1 star for the latest update
I believe there was an update to the app yesterday or today, and since then I’ve run into a couple of issues: 1. This morning, I noticed I had been logged out. After logging back in, I found that whenever I play an exercise video, my Spotify music stops. This has never happened before, and it makes it difficult to follow the workout while listening to music at the same time. 2. The program I normally follow is no longer showing up in my daily schedule. Instead, I see a set of short at-home workouts that are not relevant to me. I haven’t been able to find a way to change it back to my usual program. I’ve been using this app for years and really value it, so I’d appreciate your help in resolving these issues. Could you please advise on how to get my regular program back and whether there’s a fix for the Spotify/music interruption?
Workout app fiery
I love the workouts on here, only negative thing I will say is the music isn’t great. It’s not motivating or heart pumping. I love EDM music and what’s on here just doesn’t get me motivated but other than that, Love your workouts !
Major Issues
No programs listed under the programs tab, but all of them are accessible when you login from a browser. Tried to contact them for help, but my “ticket” failed to send every time. Hoping they get the kinks worked out on the app, I will login on my browser until then
Good
I really like this app. However, I would say the app is glitching and sometimes doesn’t give the workout that is listed for the day and will be something totally different and at times the workout session doesn’t finish through the cool down so just have to finish it on your own. Overall, I do like this app and feel like I can manage through the glitches.
Best appt ever
I love this app I alway be recommending it to friends and family. I move how she motivate me and how I feel after I work out. 100% recommended.
No customer support at all
I contacted the company multiple times. Days after I signed up for a year (I have subscribed before) I have a very bad knee injury. I asked to pause my subscription but no one ever replied. I have a doctor’s written order saying I cannot exercise. No one ever replied and I tried to contact them multiple times through the app and also on instagram for weeks. She definitely does not care about women at all. Very fake.
Great for post pregnancy exercise
Great app! Really enjoying my daily workouts and being 7 months postpartum the post pregnancy course really helped ease me back into exercise and prepare me for the tougher daily workouts. Highly recommend. The meals are a bit bland for our tastes but easy to whip up. My one suggestion would be for Emily to let you know during each exercise demonstration which muscle groups you should be focusing on working to help you make sure your form is ok. She does this sometimes but not consistently. Thanks!

Apo is faulty and it impossible to contact support. If you’re having technical issues don’t charge people.
New 2025 workouts
Great exercise so easy to follow. Just wish the music didn’t change over with 10-5sec to go, need that music to get me through.
In love with the workout
I have been a follower for years and this year I decided to join. I love the workout variety and system. I love my results too.
Was Hopeful, But Feel Misled
The app doesn’t work. Advertised two-week free trial but was immediately charged $100 for a year. But the app doesn’t even load. Every time I open it, I have to answer all of the intro questions again and half the time it freezes or gives an error and then when I can get them answered, there’s no content in the app! I paid for nothing. Hoping for a refund because the Developer’s “support” is non existent.
Great app, latest feature doesn't work yet on iPhone 7
I haven't used other fitness apps, but I truly love ESF! I've been using it for 7 months now and without following a strict diet or the meal plan, I see a wonderful transformation my body is going through. I feel a lot stronger and fitter. The only problem I have now is the latest feature of Sunday workout review is not working on my iPhone 7. Others have complained about this on the Facebook group, I expect this to be fixed soon.
Constant Lagging
Great programs, when they don’t constantly lag. I’ve tried via the website and the app, makes no difference. Stop starts and jumps all over the place when trying to get back to where I was. I’m having no issues with any other internet connection.
Loving but Glitching

I love using this app! The workouts continue to challenge me 1 year in and I don’t plan on stopping.
They make it EXTREMELY difficult to cancel
I can’t count the times I’ve ever given a 1-star review (maybe once or twice in my life). The customer service was very condescending when trying to cancel. Now I’m stuck with this membership for a whole year. The customer service at Emily Skye Fit is pretty bad for her business.
Home workout for a novice
I’ve followed Emily on Instagram for a good couple of years now and finally took the plunge and started the fit journey. First couple were amazing, felt sore but energised and was excited to do the others. However there’s actually very little without equipment. I don’t have a bench or resistance bands. I do have a kettlebell and weights so I’ve managed to make do but I think for something that is a subscription and not cheap, I would expect more body weight exercises and less equipment, especially when working out from home. Overall I like it but could be improved.
Few tech issues to start
I have just downloaded the app on a trial and having few tech issues already sadly. When trying to sign up on the app it seems to have an issue when trying to select which metrics you would like measured. Managed to get around this by logging onto the web browser instead to complete then back in app. I now have a question about the program and how to change to gym workout instead of home in the prenatal options but unfortunately there’s now an issue with sending a question through. Sorry to leave this review but wasn’t sure how else to advise this is happening as I can’t locate and email contact anywhere either.
good exercises, but the setup is not motivating
The exercises are nice, but the whole setup is not motivating. The background music is not great so I need to play separate music to actually get some enjoyment out of the classes. And she doesn't feel like she is exercising, looks a bit fake, again not very motivating
Working out can be fun and easy
Such a beautifully constructed app, easy to navigate, tons of info and so easy to follow a plan or pick a workout that fits your time limit. This is the only app I’ve EVER stuck to for working out. Emily is a beast and her app will have you snatched and feeling healthy. Great job!
No free trial
App said it was a 2 week free trial even advertised it online. Before spending that amount of money I wanted to be sure it was worth it. Nope! Charged me $50 immediately and the app didn't work. I couldn't get passed the metric unit question. Kept saying something went wrong. Buyer beware there is no free trial. I put in for a refund. False advertising.
IPad application
Great workouts! Will the application be available as a native iPad application? Currently I am using the app on iPad and it does not scale correctly in full-screen mode. Also, it can be usen only in portrait mode.
Too much talking too little working
To start with I bought this as a free trial but then was charged for a whole year straight away, so that left a sour taste. Then I do wish there was less talking, I wish I could change a setting to be less talking, as someone who works out regularly at the gym but was seeing if this would fit me while in my later stages of pregnancy. I don’t want someone talking to me for 5ish minutes before every workout, warmup etc. let’s just get on with it. Also there could be more difficult exercises for people who do workout to maintain better in pregnancy rather than feeling like I lacking. I also do half an hour of yoga after so I don’t do the cool down, therefore it doesn’t record the workout, this is silly. I wish I had have had the free trial, I would never have bought this app. Less talking more working!!
Home workouts
I’ve been using this app for several months in the gym & love it. Now we’re all in quarantine I don’t have a gym & all the home workouts include equipment......which I don’t have, so the app is a bit useless & I’m finding myself searching the internet for other workouts. There needs to be a home workout included which involves just body weight, I’m sure I’m not the only person in this situation.

Not able to cancel subscription
I joined using the free 7 day trial. I have been trying to cancel the subscription online and keep getting the same message stating they can’t process the request and to try again shortly. I tried later the same day, every day after, I have email the merchant ( there is no available customer service phone number) and haven’t received a response. I had to put a hard block on my credit card in hopes that the subscription will finally cancel. Be careful when subscribing this seems like a scam to force people to remain subscribed. It’s sad because Emily’s image is being used to take advantage of consumers.
Overall great content!
Love the workouts and recipes though due to covid, hard to get the full workout in due to gym booking times! Have a lot of loading issues pretty often which is frustrating. Would love it if you had a music setting that would still give the countdown but let’s you play your own music. Can do it on the gym workouts but not on the at home ones which I’m sometimes doing in the gym! Overall content is amazing, it’s more app development that can improve! Love the new shopping list feature!
Glitchy
For some reason almost half the workouts lately quit streaming within the first 5 minutes and I cannot get it to stick no matter what I try, so I have to workout from my tiny phone versus the tv which I cannot stand. It’s like the latest update made it worse. Please fix!!

Absolutely love the app and last year she really helped me achieve a more healthier me but the app really can do with updating regularly as the exercises got a little repetitive and the music!! Is so annoying! Really need better music or at least the option to listen to your own music while in app.

Glitches
This app won’t allow you to answer all the questions and freezes, so you can’t get past the initial questionnaire. Then you get out of it and it cancels your free trial and charges you 100. I pray Apple gives me a refund!
No sound
Just uploaded the app and there is no sound on the videos. I put the volume on max. Everywhere else is working on my phone but not with the app. Any idea what’s wrong ?
Boring
I signed up to do the pregnancy workouts. Whilst I think that the exercises are appropriate the whole experience is just really boring! The music is terrible-would be much better with motivating music turned up a bit. The cheesy voice overs every now again like ‘you got this mama’ are awful! It would be SO much better if Emily was doing each workout in real time and talking and motivating as she was doing it-more like an actual class. Sadly despite signing up for three months I am now doing other stuff as every day is just the same and it’s so dull.
Good program in average app
I think the app is far from perfect. The daily workout screen is not working as expected. You can forward the exercises but the call to action reacts very slowly so sometimes I press twice and don’t know where I was before. It’s not very clear to see in first view which exercise are on today’s schedule and how often to I have to repeat? The list below is better than having nothing but additionally there should be an overview. The videos are very good and helpful! I like the training program a lot. The recipes do not meet my taste and are difficult to cook in europe/ Germany as we do not have those ingredients in our normal super markets.

I follow you on Facebook and love all your advice about workouts, nutrition, and just being a woman… lol I started your workout app about three weeks ago. I am so hooked!! I have done cross fit, weights, etc and your classes are tough!! A good tough, I love all your workouts and I am feeling better and seeing results!! Scammed me! Zero stars would be more appropriate.
1st off, app is not really interesting. Used it for MAYBE a month and got bored. The recipes are ridiculous and complicated and require a lot of ingredients that aren’t readily available or in season in the U.S. Laughable really. With no warning I was charged again for another year when I paid in full with no reoccurring charges. Fine print, I felt, was misleading. I contacted support to explain the issue and that I hadn’t even used this app for a year. They copy and pasted a bunch of lawyer jargon and refused to make things right. Don’t waste your time or money.
Great programme but the app is not what it should be!
I am loving the app, the exercises are amazing and so are the recipes! However, I think the app needs to be updated, it needs more features and it needs to offer more options! The main things that would improve it immensely are two. First it should allow the user to search recipes as you can do on the desktop version. Second, the booty challenge or any challenge coming up, should be available anytime. The users should be able to start a challenge anytime they are able to do so. For example I was traveling when the booty challenge began and couldn’t start doing it but I want to start now, however the app doesn’t give me this option! The only thing I can do is try to navigate back 5 weeks but that is very time consuming. The app would be much more interesting, fun and engaging if it had more features, it is way to simplistic in its design, options are key in fitness apps!

Not sure about this
Not sure about this! I find the pauses and “rest” between exercises quite annoying. I don’t find I need a rest break after one set of plank rotations and one 30 second plank........there’s also a 10 second “preparation period” between each exercise. Just not for me...Maybe more for beginners.
Love it . Totally recommend.
I really love this app, I am not a gym person so I’m happy to find something for home workouts. I know there are many apps and I tried few, however I find Emily’s workout very inspiring and positive, it is filled with her personality I think. I also know for sure I will see results because Emily demonstrated it personally. Furthermore, I love food recommendations! I spend great amount of time going through them which helps to feel better about food in general as I see how diverse nutrition can be. This is a full package that I hope will transform my lifestyle forever. Thank you Emily and team!
Unusable
I was very disappointed. I can tell this would be a great app, she had many wonderful workouts that I can tell she put a lot of time and thought into creating. However -the app seems very buggy. Many things would not load or show up for me. I have tried several times to see the workout programs and they would never load, it would just say “see all workout programs” and nothing. I could see individual workouts but not actual workout programs. The app also would not show me individual meals, snacks, or a meal plan. I would try to make a grocery list and it wouldn’t do anything, nothing would show up. Very frustrating! This could be a great app but there’s major technical errors going on. If she could get the workout plans and meal plans to actually show this would be a wonderful app! Currently this app only provides individual workouts and that’s it. I LOVE how she has high quality videos and instructions to go with her workouts, I just wish I could see full workout plan options and meal plans rather than ONLY individual workouts. Technology error it looks like.
Good workouts but slow and unresponsive app
I love Emily and her workouts. I feel great now I’m working more on my strength than the same cardio/HIIT I was repeating before. However! The timer in the app is quite slow and unresponsive. I’ll press play 3-4 times before it starts. Would be great if it just automatically started the timer on the next set/rest so I didn’t have to bend down and spend the first few seconds getting back into position.
The programme
In my opinion i think the subscription could be more personalised, alot if bot all the recipes where no use to me as well as the workouts, think the wotkouts could be more adapted to the person..eg ive had a c- section. Think its a fantastic idea what you are doing but could be improved.
