Meditation Apps
I’ve tried a number of meditation apps but Balance is by far my favourite!
Charged me £65 even though I cancelled
I cancelled my Balance Mind and Meditation subscription well before the renewal date, yet the app still charged me £64.99. That is unacceptable. I then tried to contact support to request a refund and could not find clear contact details or a working support route in the app. The billing process lacks transparency and the support experience is poor. I expect a refund for a charge taken after cancellation and a simple way to reach a real support team.
Other options
This series is excellent but it would be great to also have more random guided meditations perhaps with and without music. Am I missing these?
Good but not optimised for the iPad.
I’m a lifetime purchaser having used the app for a long time but it’s frustrating that the app hasn’t been optimised for the iPad. What gives? Why? It can’t be that difficult?
Nothing new is released
Its good but nothingnew is ever addded
Get the upgrade honestly
I’ve been using Balance for three weeks straight now. One week on premium and I’m already finding it much more helpful. The app layout is so clean, it’s interactive and so many meditation options too. My personal favourite is the morning brew meditation. Whether it’s midday, morning or night, whether you want to focus, calm down or reduce stress, CLEANING, they have almost everything. You can build on skills such as breathe focus, got me feeling like tanjiro, I am hereeee
Rubbish
Took my details and didn’t create my account, likely a scam
We need longer meditations...
I love Balance. It's been yesrs and years since I first used this app, I love it and I will always love it. But you have to think about your old users who see new meditations like once or twice a year. It's getting too expensive for such monotonous and little meditations. Also, please, give us longer ones. There are just a few longer than those ten minutes. For example the Anxiety one or Motivation, Morning gratitude. Please, please!
Everything for money
I started using this app for free YEARS ago with their beautiful initiative of 1 year free membership for new members and it has helped me loads with learning how to meditate and be mindful. I actually recommended it to a lot of people. When I finished my free trials though I kept using those few meditations that were available for free but today I very sadly saw that it’s not possible to use the app anymore unless you pay. It makes me very sad to let this app go because it has helped me massively in the past years and I think it’s very unfair that you’re not even giving people a chance to use some few meditations for free…everything is becoming about paying
Love this app
I’ve had it for years now. I don’t use it continuously but every time I come back to it, it helps me immediately
Refund fail
I subscribed to this app in hopes it was what I was looking for unfortunately for me meditation is just not my thing. I thought I had unsubscribed from this app but unfortunately I did not a years subscription was taken randomly from my account. I called up Apple to explain my situation and that $116.99 was a lot of money for me to lose. They have come back with no reason and just said my refund was denied. I’m so disappointed that I am paying for something that I don’t use.
Decent
Worth paying for, but the entire course consists of learning to breath better and think pretty pictures. Also asks for star ratings and reviews the whole time, very needy,
Only 3 day trial period
Some say it had 1 year free trial, this no longer seems true. After collecting all the data and account login details about you it then has you choose monthly or annual subscription with only a 3 day trial to cancel, which is no way long enough to determine if it works.
Too much talking of the guide
The coach speaks too often and it goes too fast. Once a technique (e.g. breath focus) has been explained I’d like to have some more time to practice it without any interruption. I understand that this is a subjective feeling therefore it should be customisable
Fantastic variety of sessions
I’ve been using Balance for a long while now and still there are constantly new things to try. I love the many different types of sessions, from guiding courses teaching you different ways to meditate, to sleep sounds, to short sessions to deal with the daily stresses in life. I would totally recommend this app.
Scam
Pessimi
Best Meditation App out there
I’m enjoying and getting a lot of calmness out of this app, thank you.
Carina MA…..
App carina e ben fatta MA non capisco come facciano certe app a non essere ottimizzate per iPad nel 2025. Ho attivato il periodo di prova ma non rinnoverò a queste condizioni.
This is a scam!
Turned off my app renewal under subscriptions a long time before my free year was up. Deleted app and data from my phone and iCloud and still got billed the subscription fee. If I could give a zero I would. Beware!!!!! Do not believe this is free. The content may be good but taking $$$ from me which I can’t afford causes far more stress!!
Amazing app
This is one of the best apps I have ever used
Stalker maledetti
Servizio pessimo, Notifiche continue, si paga per ascoltare voci registrate.
Review
I love this app and it makes me very calm and serves its purpose very well but I think that the premium option is quite expensive and for the free one it makes you not enjoy it as much as nearly everything is locked by premium overall an amazing app
Excellent resource
Love this app so much. I find it so calming, love the commute and gratitude sessions as I find starting the day tough sometimes. Highly recommend.
Charge for free trial!
Offered me a one year free trial but within a few minutes I had been charged for a year’s subscription! Contacted Apple App Store for refund, hoping they will honour the request.
Scientifically proven to work
Getting through the Whole app almost. I like the fact that there are facts scientifically proven to work which make it seem absolutely worthwhile. Wish they would do the life plan on a monthly basis.
Waste of money
Free trial is false. Nothing special just going to take your money
Balance in every way
Balance is one of the best meditation and sleep apps. I had it installed on my secondary Android phone, and after a year I completely forgot to cancel my subscription. The next day, the payment was taken from my account. I emailed Balance’s customer support, explained what had happened, and in less than 24 hours they refunded the full amount. That says a lot about the company. They genuinely seem to want people to sleep peacefully and have sweet dreams—not lose sleep over unexpected charges. Excellent customer service. Thank you, Balance!
This is amazing work
I’m just going to say that this is the best app to ever exist for meditation you’re not that bad at your job
Life-saving.
Got a lifetime subscription years ago, never looked back, my favourite app!
