I did the free trial ( which was great) however I cancelled the subscription but I have still been charged for it .
Love the app! Issue with auto log out and not recognizing sign I. Credentials
When the app is logged in it’s awesome! I use it every night to fall asleep. The app has randomly logged me out 3 times and each time logging back in is next to impossible! It doesn’t recognize my credentials, and it takes forever to send the email to reset the password. It’s beyond frustrating and annoying in an era where Face ID should be sufficient! I will probably research similar apps when my subscription ends to find an app that functions properly

Impossible to renew your subscription
I used to have an account, it has disappeared and now I can’t sign up again. I just want to renew for another year but nope. Can’t do it. Guess I’ll go try Calm or another similar app.
Hypnosis sleep
Didn’t work. Going back to forest stream white noise.
Redundant
I’ve tried to listen to many of the guided meditations and have found them to be very redundant. I have not found many if any voices that are soothing to me.
It’s too expensive
It’s such an amazing app too bad it doesn’t have simpler plans or options besides yearly or family plan yearly, would give 5 stars but I can’t afford this app after my 7 day free trial it sucks wish they had some like monthly payment options
Magical
I have had PTSD, anxiety and insomnia for over 30 years. I have visited sound baths and felt great relief with them, but they are so expensive. I use this every night for an hour before I turn off the light. The first night I slept great and much longer than I normally do. I will continue to use this app. And I recommend it highly to anyone with similar problems. 💜
Be warned
I tried the app and didn’t care for it, I was supposed to get an email from them before the free trial ended reminding me it was ending…. You guessed it, I didn’t and was charged 70.00 but they were kind enough to send the receipt.
Use it every night at bedtime
Use the app for going to sleep every night. Also great for those nights where sleep is a challenge. Has some super story tellers (and some not) and the filters sure help. Latest update is causing issues where it keeps logging me out so that’s the only reason for 4 stars and not 5.
Not flexible
Difficult to customize and simplify. Too many recommendations makes the your personal account cluttered.
Great content- app glitchy
The content is amazing! However the app glitches every night. Tried using it for sleep, however it is constantly turning off during the night leading to more awakenings during the night than usual.

Buggy and “coach” options frustrating
The app inexplicably freezes on a somewhat regular basis, similar to a webpage spooling. Also, you can’t “unfollow” a coach, which is annoying. I also wish you could filter OUT coaches. There are some with creepy voices that I can’t listen to but have to scroll through tons of their stories when want to see what’s in a category or searching. Super annoying.
Beware subscription
The free trial for this isn’t cancelled in the usual subscription list shown in your Apple account, having started in the middle of a sleepless night and immediately disliked the app, I was charged handsomely for a years subscription. So pleased that the support were able to refund when I needed them to.
One of my favorite things
I love this app. I’ve had it for a year. I turn to it more than I thought I would to help with stress and anxiety also to help me sleep and take proper naps. I highly recommend this to anyone in need of guidance on meditation and recovery.
Not a free trial period
I cancelled during the free trial period and they still charged me at the end of it anyway.

It’s a good app. Just hard to find the subscription price.
Bit of a scam
I downloaded this app and agreed to the trial cancelling the subscription before the end of the 7 day period but they still took the full year amount from my card, I was advised from my card company it cld take 60days to receive a refund which didn’t happen. Now had to contact Aura to request the refund, they state the subscription was never cancelled but have issued a refund as a good will gesture. The app itself is good, pity it’s so expensive and that I’ve had this issue
Not Sure
I used the app for the first time last night and was really disappointed when I went to pick up my phone this morning and it had overheated, like scary overheated. I have NEVER experienced this and the only thing that was different was the fact that I was running this app through the night. Needless to say I’m not carrying forward with the app. I don’t know if it was a one off. I don’t know if other people have experienced it, but it is my experience I don’t want my phone to combust in the middle of the night.

I love how you can design and pick out what helps you because every single person is unique and I think that makes you have a distinct sense of what you need because everyone doesn’t just have anxiety or a facial problem.But I think you should not have the free trial because everyone who has a disability should be entitled to this not only the wealthy people but the poor people too and that’s what makes a difference.

If tried this app and paid one months fee, now I find that I cannot cancel and have been charged for a year, to me this sounds like a scam

The best meditation app
I have several apps for meditation. And I never stick with them because I don’t like the choices for guides or the sounds in the background etc. This app hits it just right. It has so much to choose from. And tbh… I’m really kinda broke but I did some the money for a year for this because I enjoyed my trial that much. I wish they had a month to month payment plan but what can I do. It’s still so worth it. And I have just gotten through some traumatic situations and this has helped me to focus on me and my mental health.
This is ridiculous
Everything is locked unless you subscribe, as if having one more item on my bill will make me happy. Uninstalled.

If you don’t get premium you won’t have access to a lot but still the app calms me down and I would use it for sure

I have had this app for several months. It has not been very helpful. Most of the “exercises” have incomplete solutions, or describe the problem but do not illustrate an effective solution.

Privacy issues
Asks a million super personal questions that are intrusive and irrelevant before you can use the app. Zero reason for this. You don't need to know my name, age, sex, etc. Also there are only 2 genders. I don't support woke nonsense suggesting otherwise.

Misleading free elements
Supposed to be free 3 minute meditations. These are impossible to find. At best, it seems you get one free meditation daily of their choice. The only way to really try the app is to accept the free trial for the subscription then cancel in 7 days if you don’t like it. I wanted to try this app for a longer period with shorter meditations before making a decision. No problem paying for things - but don’t mislead customers.

Why bother having a ‘free’ option for this app, when literally nothing is available to you as a free user? Every single mediation, song, etc is ‘locked’ unless you pay for the app, which makes the app actual trash unless you wanna pay $70/year

I wasn’t keen on this app at all. I found it quite unstructured and didn’t particularly like the meditation recordings.
Not working with homepod
When I transfer the sound to my homepod, the audio track stops after a few seconds. I would very much like to be able to listen to it with my homepod before I go to sleep, instead of the iPhone speakers or airpods
Finding Peace
Meditation always seemed an elusive goal to fit into my day. I’m not good at forcing myself to sit quietly and meditate in silence. Finding the Aura app has solved this. I can choose a guided meditation in the length and subject that works for me. Thank you, Aura!
AI slop, not relaxing
I really wanna like this app but I’ve had multiple bad experiences with it. You’re much better off just pulling up a meditation on Spotify or YouTube. My main issue is a lot of the “coaches” and “content creators” seem to be AI. Their phrasing and voices don’t sound natural. How am I supposed to relax when a bot made the meditation?? On top of that, I listened to sleep hypnosis from one particular creator and had a nightmare that a demon was chanting over my body in my sleep. If Aura can’t deliver on quality, human-made content then why bother paying so much, it’s worthless.
