The Best
Absolutely the best bank I’ve ever been a member of “in my 67 years” I’ve moved out of state and wish I could bring it with me , sadly I’ll be closing my account soon!
Accounts won’t load
I cannot view my accounts on the app anymore. It’s been days and the page won’t load
Great CU; decent app
Overall, a terrific CU. The app has grown much over the last 10+ years. It’s useful-if-not-spectacular at most things I need it for. Somehow, through that, the Bill Payer option has devolved into a useless mess. Can’t add a payee, deleting requires closing and reopening the app just to proceed. It’s hard to believe trained professionals are involved with this mess.
I’d just like to log in….
Why is the app discontinued for my device!?
Got way worse all of a sudden
Worked fine but then it started requiring me to verify my identity with a phone call literally every time I open the app And often the phone call doesn’t come so I can’t use the app

Works pretty good and it’s a nice color.
Low stars
I feel like ever since there was a maintenance shut down to revamp the app. I haven’t been able to load my balances. It will say that the app is unable to load and try again, or it will pull up my screen of my balances and accounts, but have the loading sign. The app just seems slow overall since the last update
It was ok, now it’s terrible
The news and announcements alert with message will not go away even after opening and reading the messages. The AI chat was awful and it’s the weekend and I can’t find an option in the app to send a message to customer support. I may just delete the app until there’s an update to fix this.
The Best Credit Union App
I’ve been a member of some of the other CU’s in WA state. The largest & 2nd largest CU’s. As far as ease of use and functions, Sound CU’s mobile app is the best. Despite moving to another state, I kept my Sound CU account due to consistent connectivity and lack of issue in operation.

Love this place
I had trouble finding an account anywhere but Sound Credit Union gave me a bank account and made my life so much easier. They are friendly and awesome. Haven’t had any trouble with them. 5 stars for sure
Very bothersome question
Stop asking the same question every time I look at my accounts
Account issue
Having a hard time signing up compared to other inline banking. Called. their customer hotline about the issue but they can’t even help me. Waste of time waiting for 25 minutes only to be told they can’t give access my account because they don’t have an account specialist.
35 years of Sound
35 years with sound cu. Moved from WA to Texas and still have not changed banking systems and we won’t.
Mobile deposit has issues
Every once in a while I have to delete the app then reinstall to get mobile deposit to work. It stalls on the picture taking process. Force close and reopen doesn’t fix the issue
Just the app
The bank itself is amazing, no complaints. But when I try to turn my card on after it being off, it won’t work. And then I’m just stuck standing there or having to return everything. Super inconvenient. And in such a high tech world, something like this shouldn’t be an issue.

Bad enough to make me wish I’d chosen a different bank
This app is terrible, even by credit union standards. Login is difficult, and why on earth can’t two people have logins for the same account? I didn’t even think to ask about app functionality when I opened my account because it seems so obvious that joint accounts need multiple logins. I’m now realizing how much I actually use my bank’s app, which would never have occurred to me if it wasn’t such an awful experience.
Terrible check deposit
So so annoying. Won’t accept checks that my other bank app will. Brutal.
