What people like
- Works great for controlling the projector
- Easy to set up initially
- Useful backup if physical remote breaks
What they complain about
- Connectivity drops or fails to pair
- Updates break basic remote functions
- Mandatory login feels unnecessary and annoying
- Mouse control is imprecise and laggy
Since the last update
Since the last update the volume button on the app hasn’t got any more numbers next to it. Also Can’t turn the device off from the app anymore. The on off button literally does nothing.
Terrible
Can’t log into any of the Google stores. Useless

Terrible update, can’t use without logging in. Totally ridiculous. It’s a TV remote! Why do I need to login?

Don’t waste your money
Unfortunately, my experience with Nebula products has been rather disappointing. The automatic screen connection is very poor, and although it may be placed on a stable surface; it displays tilted images constantly. Connecting to apple products is a nightmare, first and last nebula product. I only give it 2 stars because of its convenience if it were to work properly.

Obsessed with this Gadget
I might be the best ambassador for this gadget because every friend who visits my house ends up buying one within a few weeks. This small, portable projector is simply outstanding—I can't find any faults at all. The picture quality is amazing, providing a sharp, clear display that rivals any high-end television. It's incredibly quiet, almost noiseless, which enhances the viewing experience without any distractions. The sound quality is fantastic, delivering rich, immersive audio that makes you feel like you're in a theater. It works seamlessly with any online platform, allowing you to stream movies, shows, and videos from anywhere in your home or on the go. I can't live without my Nebula anymore. It's become an essential part of my entertainment setup, perfect for movie nights, gaming, or even just watching YouTube videos. The versatility and performance of this projector are unmatched. Sometimes I feel like upgrading to the next generation to enjoy even more powerful features, but this device is so sturdy and reliable that it hasn't given me a single issue. It's been running smoothly since day one without any signs of wear or technical problems. The Nebula team has truly outdone themselves with this product. The build quality is excellent, the user interface is intuitive, and the overall performance exceeds expectations. This projector is a game-changer, and I can't recommend it enough. Well done, Nebula team! You guys ROCK! 🤘🏻
Will not connect
Don’t waste your time downloading this app, it finds the device but will not pair to be able to use the app, can pair with Nebula on bluetooth through iphone settings but this doesn’t allow to use app. Pointless app because it doesn’t work
Netflix
Sloppy
And not getting any better.
I would like to get a better explanation on how to use the app
In the beginning, it was not connecting properly, so I got very stressed, but then it connected when I open the nebula application, so perhaps mentioning that you need to open the nebula application on the device before trying to connect on your phone would be extremely useful
Joolz
Amazing product and super easy to set up Delivery was awful but that wasn’t down to nebula , the first capsule max was lost in transit with UPS so nebula then used EVRI , who were equally awful and left the product outside to then be stolen
Stopped mirroring
Worked perfectly for a month and now it won’t pair with anything properly. I wouldn’t recommend, sadly

Nebula Mars 2 Projector
The picture is pretty good on this projector, the sound is decent and the battery seems to last a really long time. Overall it’s a decent projector as far as quality goes. The app to control the projector is very tricky to use. It takes very precise finger movements to be able to accurately navigate within the actual apps and pick the show you want to watch. One final bummer is that both Disney plus and Netflix is no longer supported on this projector. It’s pretty lame there is not an update or something you can do to allow it to be able to use these platforms again. All in all it’s a pretty good projector. Just a bit frustrating at times.
Fix the orientation on iPad.
For years the logo always came on upside down in portrait mode. Now when you load the app on an iPad, the program opens upside down. You have to turn your iPad upside down to use it. Most annoying.
Simple
Works well
App and projector
Both just rubbish, used to be good but can’t use apps and the actual nebula app has logged me out and said I need an email to use it which is weird because I never had one on there before
Good but
Great app quite responsive. What’s missing is the option to type (missing keyboard)
Better Than The Remote But...
Connects easily and quickly. Unfortunately, when trying to use the App after the iPhone has gone to sleep, A) it sometimes has to reconnect before you can use it, and B) sometimes the App stays connected but you have to re-select the Mouse because the App defaults back to the Controller configuration.
Excellent app
Excellent app to use to control my nebula max projector
Poor execution
The app works okay as a remote. But registering warranties etc. it’s poor with constant logouts
Good App
Better than remote control. But with ios14 it can not connect anymore. Please update the app for ios 14.
AWESOME app - Keyboard lacking features
Edit 1: Grammar mistakes. Controller not Controllor. Move the focus? What focus? Previous : Seriously, love the app. No lags no bugs and no dropouts! The keyboard feature needs a little work though... I find that it’s not as intuitive as the keyboard of the Apple TV remote app or the Amazon Fire TV app when you choose an input cell. You can’t actually select and copy paste and stuff... But overall... GREAT JOB Anker/Nebula!!! Bravo!
Nebula Connect
Great app to use, highly recommend!😎
Really inconsistency
Having problem with volume, power off , moving mouse to click, getting struck. All the functionality has bug in iPhone.
Great app overall, iTunes DRM ruins projector functionality
The most important aspect of an app like this is the connectivity which performs phenomenally. You find the right projector and it clicks, which is good. But I’d like it to function more like the Apple remote app with built in touch keyboard for easier password input and searching. Also Please, please, please figure out a way to stream iTunes movies on this from PC, iPhone, or iPad this DRM is completely unacceptable if I have to pay 20$ for a movie or tv show. At least let me watch them what I pay for, now I have to figure out how to convert to MP4 or figure out a different way to watch what I already paid for!
Live chat non existant
No live chat or help functions with the app. Not there to help if needed. Poor for something that costs over a grand.
Touch and tap needs improvement
Especially in apps like YouTube and Netflix
