A little help here
This was disappointing. It did absolutely nothing to my photos. No help section to explain why. I was looking forward to using it to change the light source and enhance some photos.
Nothing is free anymore
This app used to be amazing. But now they charge for even the simplest features. Time to switch to another app.
Not the easiest, but with patience, it should be great.
Potentially it’s gonna work great hardly get started.Once you figure out how to use and fine-tune the fields of blur, you can really make it look perfect. The iPad version is really giving me problems. I definitely recommend doing some tutorials.
Truly amazing!
Absolutely amazing and so easy to use!

I want to purchase lifetime version but in app purchases mode there is no lifetime option. But you people mention in App Store there is a lifetime purchase and it’s cost about 12.99$

Ultimamente está horrível
Nossa, nós últimos anos ficou terrível editar a desfocagem, a gente seleciona o pincel no lugar que quer desfocar ou retirar, automaticamente ele levar para outro lugar da foto, impossível dar zoom, tá horrível!

Excellent program for adjusting aperture.
Oh
I couldnt run the app Iphone 7 plus
Fun and really effective too
Really adds the controls you need for depth focus editing in a simple way. Some of the UI is a bit confusing but really great toolset overall.
App bugado
Good but too pricey
This app was decent. They have improved the features but now it’s no longer free. Not worth $100 annually in my opinion.
A better version
Quicker loading and fun to use
Scammy subscription?
Something has gone wrong with this app, which I remember thinking was quite reputable some years ago. But I was astonished on latest download to find it absolutely crippled for use, unless I paid —no kidding, — $9.99 every WEEK. You read that correctly, every WEEK. Why would a developer have such a pricing as their default? I don’t know, but one possibility is that their new business plan includes hoping that people forget to cancel their weekly subscription after the first few days. Just a guess. (Yes, there is a $99 per year subscription plan, but nothing reasonable by the month. And $99 per year is also an astonishingly high price for an app that isn’t handling your entire workflow.) All in all, this bizarre pricing makes me worry that the developer has perhaps been bought out by some predatory firm. I don’t know that to be the case, I am just suspicious that where there is smoke there is fire. So I will not give them any of my data, or any access privileges on my phone.

Not able to Use the Patch Tool
When using patch tool, not able to zoom properly, the patch tool is not applying to the selected area.
Best blurring app in the business
I’ve been using Focos for years now and still haven’t found any other app that is even close to producing the magnificent effect that this one does. Love it!
Price
I used to use this only for adding bokeh. It used to be free now you have to pay. Zero stars.
Background blur
It is very useful for background blur in iphone base series like 11/12/13…etc
No longer allows use without payment
This app previously had some features that could be used without payment, including a depth blurring effect, but it now costs $10 per WEEK.
Easy to use and absolutely perfect for portraits on the iPhone.
The app was easy to understand and use and gave very excellent results on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I already own a Lensbaby lens and the effect in Focos was vey faithful to the real lens. Highly recommend this one!
Paid for lifetime access but most features are gone!
This app used to be my favorite, had awesome features including lighting and many other tools, the bokeh (though artificial) used to be great, now many of those features are gone, bokeh is terrible leaving weird edges around objects and people, exporting would apply changes to a part of the photo but not to the entire frame and so on. It is sad that we can’t trust these companies even when we pay. If not fixed, I’ll be deleting.
Great but where’s the brush tool on the iPad?
I love this app and it’s perfect on the iPhone. But I’m frustrated that the brush feature was removed on the iPad. I hope it’s reinstated.
So now even the free version isn’t free anymore..
Ummm what happened to saving photos for free? Like it was already bad enough you guys got rid of a lot of features that were already free and NOW you can’t even save a photo for free anymore.. Sadly gonna have to uninstall. You guys were my favorite background blur app but I can’t afford another subscription. Disappointing.

Bad upgrade
I used to LOVE this app. It was so user friendly and had a great auto recognition system for the main focus of pictures. Now, it struggles selecting the whole subject, cutting off noses, hair, hands, half of bodies. And the edit tool doesn’t work when the photo is zoomed in. So small details are lost and the photo edits look unnatural. It’s so disappointing.

Very very useful app
Used to be great.
Love the app, but the menu system won’t let you focus on anything on the left side of an image. If you tap where anything in the left column of where a rule of thirds shot would place any focal object, it activates the menu instead of placing the focus point. Insanely frustrating. 😔
Used to be great, now frustrating
It has SO MANY cool features and it’s really great for getting/enhancing photographic effects… when it works. My biggest issue is using the aperture brush to change what gets pushed back or forward in the photo. The two-finger scroll when zoomed in almost never works, and the brush paints on the photo wherever it feels like it.

everything i need it has
The app has gotten worse.
The app has gotten worse. Two years ago, more features were free, and they worked better. Now, the blurring looks bad. Plus, you can't save a photo for free, even if you haven't used the paid features. Subscription prices are incredibly high, and there's no one-time purchase. I'd rather watch 10 ads in a row. And there's no basic option to manually select the background you want to blur yourself by using brush, which is really weird.
I like it
Very good app
Bugs in the app
I'm giving it a 2-star rating because, while using it, I've still encountered bugs and glitches in certain features. This has significantly worsened my experience. I've been testing it for 7 days, and I've installed and uninstalled the app, and these bugs persist! Please help me.
It’s nice but I cannot find effects on iPad
How can I add effects on iPad? Most effects I see on iOS only
Genial
😍😍😍😍
100 dollars per year!
100 dollars a year for this app just to blur out the background. There’s no need for this to be subscription based.

Awesome app!!
Great app to make the bookah effect look nice, and love the extra functionality
Disappointing iPad App
The iPhone version has amazing features. Sadly, all of them are missing from the iPad app.
