Pointless having this app!
Very slow to update your accounts -CURRENT accounts -not Credit card acc-this can take a FEW DAYS!! 🤦🏻♀️Really not helpful, Nedbank! It’s also UNAVAILABLE to make any night time transactions! Wow! What’s the point in having the app if you can’t transact when you need to? USELESS!!🙄

Nedbank app
Genuinely a useless app. It does not show you any information regarding your accounts and there is no way to pay directly into your loans from the app. The chat option enbi is a waste of time because it keeps giving you the same selection options even after you’ve chosen one, or written out your question.
Why relinking
Why every time the app updates I have to relink account which always fails. I hate going to the bank. It should not be this difficult and then I can’t pay accounts.

Registration cannot be completed because the app does not process the USSD
I’m experiencing a registration issue with the Nedbank app on iPhone. During the registration process, the USSD prompt is received successfully on the phone, but the app does not proceed to the next step. It appears that the app fails to capture or process the USSD response, and the process hangs while repeatedly requesting approval/confirmation. The app eventually displays a message instructing me to visit the nearest branch, but visiting the branch did not resolve the issue. The branch staff confirmed that the notification/USSD prompt is being sent to the iPhone, yet the app remains stuck on the approval stage and cannot complete registration. This seems to be an integration issue between the USSD service and the iOS app, where the USSD response is not being delivered back to the app correctly. Device: iPhone Issue: Registration cannot be completed because the app does not process the USSD approval prompt and remains stuck on the approval screen. Please investigate and provide a fix, as I’m unable to register or activate the app on my iPhone.
The app misbaving after update
After the update, the app is not loading well in iphone 16 pro max on the main account and savings account. I can’topen to view the account transactions. Its just unclickable. Sometimes they half load. You can view the account details frustrated

Very bad app. The app is extremely slow and unreliable. I made a transaction on the 13th but it did not reflect at all. It only appeared the next day on the 14th, and with the wrong date - it shows 14th. My balance is also incorrect and does not match my actual transactions. This is very frustrating and stressful!!!

The app only allows one login in and 2nd login, it says something went wrong I deleted and downloaded the more than 10 times the errors persist, iPhone 13 Pro Max on latest IOS update and updated Nedbank app. Please assist I can’t do registration everytime I need to use the app

This new update keeps saying ‘pin set successfully’ at the bottom. That does not go away so you can actually not transact on the app until you have restarted the app multiple times. Please bring back the older version!
Advert city
There are more places for adverts in a banking application than actual options to do your banking. Honestly, it’s disappointing that I am being forced to purchase stuff than worry about what the actual purpose of the application is banking. Can we please have an option to disable all the adverts please?!

The Nedbank money app is very convenient and everything is in simple terms you find everything where you expect it to be and it’s fast

I’ve been using the app for years with no problem. Lately the app constantly needs to be deleted and reinstalled wasting time and data. When calling the call centre they refer you to walk into the branch despite being a platinum member. Nedbank, fix the bugs…
Good App
The nedbank money app is way way better than the previous app which was seriously bad. Ui is smooth however 1. Fingerprint login never works which is a pain 2. On a few occasions I was logged out and had to reinstall and reconnect my account which was painful But I use it and have not had any issues for a few months except for the fingerprint issue

Every time I attempt to login there is an error message: “JSON could not be serialized because of error: The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format.” Absolutely ridiculous.

Spinning wheel on launch and moving between menus
Ive recently noticed the app’s been laggy with a spinning wheel showing up on each menu change. Its not as responsive as it used to be.
Banners
The app feels slower because of all the promotional banners. Banking apps should prioritise speed and ease of use, but the ads make the experience feel cluttered and less responsive. Please give users the option to disable promotional content.
Fantastic App - works great. Only a few small issues
Was one of the early adopters of this app. It’s fantastic. There’s only a few small bugs/annoyances but otherwise works great. There’s consistent development with this app, more and more features are being added. 1)logs in kinda slow (maybe an animated loading icon at startup would help?) 2)there’s no clear all notifications button, you have to hold to select all which is unintuitive. 3)there was, but now removed, privacy screen. Which means you can see my bank balance in the app-switcher 4) Feature request: More customization for the Home Screen - there’s widgets and other cool things but I’d like to change them to what I need.

Logging in to s a mission impossible. Especially when you don’t have data. Question is if one wanted to buy data on the app it means you stuck. 😡

It’s a pity I can’t give this more stars because it’s a great app, however I’m alarmed by the sheer amount of spelling errors littered around the app like “category” being spelt catergory and “tobacco” being spelt tabacco.

App freezes on IOS
The app consistently freezes, had to log in and out to use it. But is getting worse by date. It is up to date. But your last update messed it up. Please fix the bug.
Suddenly slow to open
There is a progress circle circling when loading a profile - even though all the rest are clearly loaded but it seems the app is stalled up/until it can load its adverts. This is stupid please revert.

Can only register
I have registered a new online account every single time I click on this app. It has never let me log in. This is an issue for other reviewers as well. Otherwise, everything else about the app seems fine.
Adverts
Nedbank broke their own app. When logging in, you can do nothing until the advert banner completes loading. Was never like this, greed is making your app lag for the past month or two now. Banking is not just about having money in the bank, it’s the overall experience. FNB starting to look attractive again with their digital platforms that’s more complete than this
Unhappy
This is a complaint about not receiving my funds/ not having my funds converted every time I receive an international payment for salary paid by my employer even when I provide statements and let it be known that I will be receiving payments every month but I am still being sent emails to confirm the international payments to go through regardless of my responses each time. I am still delayed even when I confirm for my funds to be converted. I am very unhappy about this.
Not working abroad
I love this app. But when Im abroad its such a hassle to use, it takes ages to log in and to load new payments in a different time zone is a mission as it will not accept it unless im on the same day as south africa. And time zones often dont make this possible.
