The Best!
YouTrip has made my travelling a bliss. The competitive rates, the campaigns to “encourage” spends, the interactive games and the kids card is the BEST! we no longer need to wait for one another. We get it all done in a jiffy. Thank u, YouTrip!
Big hassle creating account
I haven’t used it yet. Just creating account is so much difficult than applying credit card. I have submitted multiple times and it kept rejecting without providing any valid reason. Customer service is not at its best. HaiiiZz
App is good, would be even better if there is a scan and pay function
The app is good, allows you to keep track of the rate and exchange to keep at wallet for that few country. Even without pre changing of rate in wallet, as long local wallet have $ is still fine to pay. App would be even better if it has a scan and pay function. That would definitely be way more convenient for payment. Was waiting to see if the scan and pay function will rollout anot. Would worth a 5 star if there is scan and pay
Cannot use with Wechat and Alipay
Was in China recently and could not pay with YouTrip from both WeChat and Alipay. Was able to do so in previous trips. Online comments have circulated about this issue since July. Resolution time is unacceptable. This puts me off this card for future overseas trips.
Cannot perform exchange since last 2 days
Cannot perform exchange function is covered by the keyboard & it just wont off. Tried deleting the app & reinstall. Same issue

No Usage via Alipay and WeChat
I can’t use it to pay my Taobao purchases anymore, previously I can. I have linked both YouTrip card and trust card to Taobao. Payment via YouTrip card failed , trust card payment went through instantly after only trying once - both cards I use this same approach to pay. Will use more trust card to pay if YouTrip card keeps facing this issue .

The app sucks
I sign up before my Malaysia trip. I instantly transfer money from SGD to youtrip and use it in Malaysia. But after few months its logged out. The app dont have any login credentials. The app sucks. Evan if you provide the best solution for people to transfer money easily but the app is not evan performing equally, trust me your business vanish quickly.
Annoying Haptic
The new clicking/ haptic feedback when swiping between different currencies is annoying. Please add a toggle switch in the app settings to turn off in app haptics. Thanks.

The customer service is horrible
Don’t expect to get any help from them if you face any issue. Trying to contact them and update particular and it takes more than 2 months.

Awful customer Experience, No Accountability for Their Own Processing Errors
Update 15 July 2026: The issue has now been resolved. The disputed amount was refunded and the negative balance cleared. I appreciate Amirah for reviewing the case and resolving the matter. However, I remain disappointed with the earlier customer support experience, as my concerns were not properly addressed and I continued to receive payment reminders while the dispute was ongoing. Satisfied with the final outcome, but there is room for improvement in customer support and dispute handling. Update: After I formally disputed the negative balance and explained my concerns in detail, my complaint was not addressed. The original support agent, Ariah, stopped responding. My case was then handled by Luna, who did not respond to any of the issues I raised in my email. Instead, on 6 July 2026, she sent me another email containing the same demand for payment and again stated that YouTrip may charge my linked bank card if I do not top up my account. I am not willing to pay for a charge that YouTrip now claims was not deducted from my account back in February 2026. Based on the transaction records displayed in the app at the time, I reasonably believed the transaction had been successfully charged and settled. I relied on those records when settling shared travel expenses with my travelling companions after the trip. If YouTrip’s system failed to process or reconcile the transaction correctly, I do not believe customers should be held responsible for an issue that only surfaced four months later. At no point did anyone address my complaint or explain why I should bear the cost of what appears to be an issue arising from YouTrip’s own transaction processing. Rather than investigating my case and providing a meaningful response, YouTrip simply continued to demand payment while my dispute remained unresolved. This is one of the worst customer support experiences I have had. Customers deserve to have their concerns properly investigated and answered, not ignored while repeated payment reminders continue to be sent. I have completely lost confidence in YouTrip’s transaction handling and customer service.

Bot cannot solve evrything! Ui ux i cant even rrset pw ! Why after click forgot u point to reset however the screen is defaulted to the PIN key in so it does NOT work! Thou i like yr app but many times envounter issues and for years i cd not use as NO humman agent to help solve the bot while useful for only simple issue but does NOT work when there is more complicated issue !

What’s going on, is Youtrip App compromised?
App version updated to latest, issue persists. Issue One is whenever App launches, a pop up message flashes briefly, can’t even see what it says. Took screen recording and the pop up message title is ‘Open Settings’ and content is ‘You currently have notifications turned off for this App. You can open Settings to re-enable them.’ This pop up appears and disappears in a flash whenever App launches before biometric credentials login. Issue reproducible for every App launch. Issue Two is randomly asking to do face verification to verify I am human and after take recording of face, I landed on HomePage without TouchID sign in. Since I joined Youtrip, I have used TouchID for security, same iPhone still. I found out that whenever that stupid facial thing happens, was because TouchID was turned off!! I didn’t turn it off but noticed since previous update, it will somehow randomly turned off by itself. Uh…are you guys taking facial biometric to hack my SingPass? Jokes aside, Already has biometric security in place and then App disables it in order to solicit a face verification is a major concern. Feel unsafe as if Youtrip App is being compromised by hackers. This is how it seems and come across, otherwise how come my TouchID is randomly turned off in Youtrip App? And only Youtrip App? Can you investigate these issues? Device is iPhone 6S plus, no FaceID, only TouchID.

Inconsistent transfer times
Don’t use this app to transfer money if the transfer is urgent. They will randomly hold your transfer to ask questions, but even after replying, continue to hold. There is no option to cancel the transfer so that I can try another app for transfer. Or it says sent, but final leg holds the transfer.
Issue with WeChat pay and Alipay
YouTrip, your card having issue with WeChat Pay and Alipay. Cannot make payment at all. No issue when linked the WeChat Pay and Alipay with other bank cards.

Force user on facial recognition & unable to access my own funds through app! Shall I report police?
Been using this app, pin and sms OTP plus email OTP is required to log in. But now I’m not able to log in without facial recognition registration despite all these steps. There is no SKIP option. My money is stuck inside the app. I’ve call the customer service, they claimed facial recognition registration for safest registration. Don’t they know an accident paralysed man had his money stolen by his friend using his facial recognition access? Safe? No thanks! No longer trust YouTrip! Forcing on user to obtain facial recognition is wrong! Very wrong!!! Reply to your email: I’m not going to waste my time to write in via email! Just remove the facial video recording imposed on your users!!! And let me access my money!!!

Not easy to get new card
I requested for my old card to be canceled because I have unauthorized charge to my YouTrip card. I requested for replacement and nothing happened

Payment like scam
They bring back February statement and show your outstanding, but within February to August we still can use the card to do transactions. Cannot give a proper statement, told you the money already return to you but there are not any transaction be proof then just ask you to pay the outstanding said merchant never deducted when February. Not recommended this apps, now make it more troubles for the payment issue.

Bad review
Very bad customer service. Don’t lost your card. No refund. Very draggy and whatever issue encounter wait 3-4 days reply with matter unresolved. Don’t ever apply.
Issue on Face ID
Although I have enabled Face ID within the app, it automatically brings me to the first user interface - after log out - which requires me to input my phone number so as to receive a one time password (OTP) to log in again. This situation appears several times, so it’s quite annoying. However, the app itself operate functionally and has a clean, easy - to - use interface. #YouTripThailand

Too Busy ! No response!
It has been over a month of following up on the YouTrip application, there is no response. If your earlier response was you are getting high volume of applications and then should have let me known that you will no longer respond to newer applications

Great solution, easy to use App, however Customer Service isn’t at the level of excellency expected. Too bad a foreign card transaction (debit foreign card - credit Youtrip foreign currency balance) is not offered. Could boost txn.

Horrible customer service.
Whenever an email is sent to their customer service, they will take more than 2 weeks to reply. This is unacceptable for an organisation that deals with people’s money. Hope they would work on that before even thinking of expanding to other countries. Even having a call centre to provide instant assistance to their users.
