Backend infrastructure not ready to support operations
Mari decided to drop a limited FD promotion and app crashes the moment it started. Can’t even login to perform normal transactions. If ops is not ready to support such a promo then don’t bother with it, ruins customer experience so badly

System were lag and unresponsive during the FD promotion and lock me out when correct password was key / face recognition.!

3 Sep 1842h opened APP, saw pop-up message that asks me yo stay on this page while the process upgrades the Maribank APP. Instinctively, kill APP. Opened APP agsin, same message, unable to see Homepage. When the upgrading completes, finally display the Homepage. I have no issue with you upgrading the APP, but how the hell I would know for sure is Maribank doing the upgrading or a hacker’s deed? If you keep doing this, users can become desensitised and dismissive should hackers camouflaged doing the same. Btw, I have never seen this happening in any banking apps installed on my device for so many years. Today is just the 3rd day I started Maribank, and seeing weird so soon. Can try to upgrade APP silently snd invisibly?

There is a fd promo then the whole app kept me out from logining. Scary as I just Topup and wanted to check the balance. Then it’s down!
PayNow Scanning
Vey disappointed with the paynow scanning function. Most of the QR codes from merchants cannot be detected for scanning. Extremely inconvenient and embarassing, and to date yet to see any fixes on that.

There are funds in the account , out of the blue all funds are frozen which caused inconvenience. CS Kept giving robotic default replies and wasting time. Been days and nothing is done. Ridiculous.

I used it for small purchases and received a few rejections, despite having a positive balance. It happened at least twice in the MRT, which was inconvenient because I needed to go to the helpdesk counter to check the account and manually exit the MRT.

I've been using MariBank Singapore and it's very user friendly. The app is easy to navigate, information is clear, and transactions are smooth. Definitely one of the easiest banking apps to use.
Bad in Facilitating of Credit Card anda Oversea Bank transfer
Takes 4-5days to have $ transferred. Having Issued me a credit card from FB referrel with Credit of S$1,400 but after some months suspended my Card for no reason . Hence was very upset over the MariBank . If U afraid of Credit Bad Log , then don’t issue . Since Aug 2025 till now my card still suspended even the outstanding is Cleared . 👎👎👎

App hangs after changing to a new phone
For some unknown reason after changing to a new phone the entire app hangs after the password. This is a major bug that needs to be fixed! Update: called their hotline to resolve this but they blamed it on connection. I’m on 10g wifi!That’s just irresponsible because they are not listening to the client. I can no longer access my app and I have no one to go to for help! I’m planning on closing all the accounts because of this.
