This is a thirty second process on ocbc’s app but this function is not available on UOB’s app. Bunch of dinosaurs.
Unwanted notification counter
The app icon shows a number of notifications on the phone’s Home Screen. When I open the app, there seems to be no way to view the notifications. So the number shown on the app icon is unnecessary noise.

Unable to locate the Krisflyer miles for conversion anymore. Pls fixed it since redemption on web will be discontinued this month.

How is the app able to send “Deals” notification to the user when all optional notification settings have been disabled? No I don’t care about your cash rebate or free ipad. The next time I get another deals notification i wont be writing a review, get ready for an app store guideline violation

Pay now annoyances
Pay now wouldn’t work, so the app suggested i reinstall, after which i needed to set up a digital token to use pay now which took another whole day. also pay now has been down a few times now (for example scheduled maintenance saturday night exactly when people are paying for taxis) when I needed it. without giving access to my entire contacts, it’s not easy to pay now a previously transferred number. It’s also not clear where to find the transactions afterwards (a list of past paynows). transactions take a long time to actually show up, 3 days from when scanning with pay wave to actually appearing in the app. Compared to most other banking applications i’ve used from other countries this is pretty behind- not sure why the ratings are so high

Whenever I tried to use the contactless ATM function, the app would suddenly exit. iPhone 13, iOS 18.4. April 14, 2025.
Notification pop up not going off dispite messages read
Please work on your app notification. I have mark all messages as read and the pop up on app still remain.

Looks good. One a the better bank app. I only wish that the payNow amount can be bigger. Take a look at how Grab does it. I will use it as the default if it is like Grab.

Pop out blocking
Some merchant needs to see if the transfer is correct; the pop out blocking the name details . And why need to have EVERY transaction? Now is pop up twice. ! Is annoying

Mighty FX currency exchange function is APP only. Disgusting way to force customer to use mobile device to collect more data.

Inbox issues
Deleting transactions in inbox is a slow process and after taken so much time deleting the slow process of clicking the 3 dots then clicking the delete button one by one and everything reappears the next day.

Happily closed for update, so many times spoke to the customer services, but keep last minute can’t use at all

Nice but
I want to be able to turn off any push notifications they are marketing and not related to my account activity. Also, face ID login never works for me. I activate it and the next time I try to login, I have to activate it again.
