What people like
- Buying tickets and using it is easy
- Schedule loads fast and works well now
- Live map shows exactly where ferries are
What they complain about
- Ferries run late during busy times
- App is too big for slow internet
- Payment fails for non-US credit cards
Easy and functional
Worked perfectly. Easy to get the tickets and to use the ferry system.
App is too large
Why make an app 107mb in a city that has so many tourists and slow internet :/
Easy to use
Really easy to use however the credit card information only works if you’re a US citizen. If you are visiting from abroad, best way to buy tickets on this app is through Apple Pay
Funcional
Aplicativo muito funcional
Not functional
Tired to download the app twice because it was glitchy, payment options wouldn’t load and by the time i could get the page to work to add a payment method it was impossible to select Canada in the payment info for my card. Not tourist friendly i guess…
Never on time
There are not enough ferries at peak hours. They are always late. They have a very poor bike policy.

Great ferry. Easy app. Nice

Excellent customer service, reservations where super easy, lots of options and availability. We enjoyed the experience at the bay and end up using the Bike Pass which was perfect for our trip. Food & drink where also spectacular. Thank you guys !!!
Nice app!
Very functional app for scheduling and locating ferry trips in NYC. I tried Hornblower trips in California as well and it was awesome.
Great App!
I used this on vacation to buy a ticket and check the schedules. Works like a charm!
Great Update!
Since they updated the app the schedule feature loads faster and functions way better! Also the “nearby” tab makes it easy to find the right stop.
