Definitely recommend
This app starts from square one. I never programmed a day in my life and they break it down to a super basic understandable and fun way. If you want to learn python you should get this app.
Add more complicated languages and more features to this app.
I knew nothing about coding but after using this app now I'm on chapter 7 of Python learning "if functions" due to its simplistic teaching methods. I think there are several ways that can make this app great. one of them is to include low level languages such as "c", "c+", "c++", "c#" and "assembly language" which are difficult to learn. The reason why is because the way this app teaches its users how to code and by adding these programming languages, its users are able to reach levels of coding that they would have never thought could be possible. Also another way this app can be great is to include tutorials that teaches its users l how to make/automate things in the real world such as ethical hacking tools, websites, firewalls, softwares, and games where the tutorials uses coding from the lessons in the learning modules in the form of walkthroughs with levels ranging from beginners to advanced by including formulas that doesn't have to be the exact variables or values like in the walkthroughs/tutorials but it is enough so that the coding learned from the lessons offered is not only theoretical but it's also realistic hands on learning as well.

I’ve been playing for 3 weeks now and have learned nothing one of the things is that it always glitches and there is not coding like C++ or c#

Underrated Works Completely Free LOVE IT
It is so good you just start learning immediately and you can either go free or get pro which gets rid of the very rare ads and gives you unlimited hearts but it teaches u so well I rarely lose hearts. I love how u can also make playgrounds but I would suggest adding a Java playground cuz i want to test my Java code. The advertising is also accurate which is so cool.

I’m starting from scratch and the game has quite a few options and plenty to learn from in clear and concise language.
Not for Newbies.
The program is very generalist I’ and doesn’t detail the reasons or explain in depth it’s teachings. Very confusing.

I’ve been using the app Encode and it’s phenomenal. 100% free, you can play as long as you want, quick ads, no pay walls. It’s like a better, programmer Duolingo! I often stop learning new things pretty quick, but I’m on an 11 day streak since I started. I’m already over half-way through since it’s so addicting! I have already recommended it to some friends online and in-person. So good! 🥰
SQL lesson 2 rigged so you can’t complete
The challenge for SQL lesson 2 is rigged. The first two solutions are marked incorrect, even though when I check them, my answer is EXACTLY the same. Checking eats up 4 hearts. The third solution runs out of hearts before I can check the answer so I can’t proceed. (I know my answer is correct, have tried multiple times with extremely careful entry). It’s designed to make the user frustrated so they’ll sign up for the subscription. I’ll probably just find another platform to learn SQL on as I don’t appreciate the sneaky tactics.

After every lesson there’s an ad and “Buy premium to not have ads and unlimited hearts”.

This app is very useful! I am going to year 6 but… Of course the coding will change. So, I used this app ! There are different types of like, JavaScript and coding nor more! There are streaks! Lives (5) Different levels! And if you don’t know what to code! Just press the hint under the description! Also, if you don’t understand you can just press the play button! and any mistakes made are okay! And the options if you make a mistake are Either you.. Try again Or View mistakes Honestly, im just going to say that this app is extremely helpful and is a big recommend! Bye! You don’t need an account to do it! Plus you CANT pay for one anyways! Now fr bye!

I love encode! It’s helped me learn a lot of codes! I like how it works great even without premium🥳🤩! It helped me learn html! Thanks to encode, I can now do more with html than just making text! Definitely recommended!!!

I tried using the resources and doing the first project but I can’t actually do the task because of some file error (which I have wasted 2 hours trying to fix with no results) which makes it unreasonably difficult for a noob like me 😞 so I just gave up...
It’s good, still needs work tho
Overall great for a free app to get learning. However the only issue I have with this app is there are several instances I type in the correct answer, it counts it wrong and I lose 1/5 “hearts” then I’ll view the correct answer and I had it exactly right, so I lose hearts even tho I got it completely write. Can be a pain when you’re sitting and really trying to advance through the courses.

this app is great. It's helping me learn code faster than I used to and in a fun and easy way, it's also completely free if you can handle ads.
Great for practice, love the UI
I’ve found this app to be extremely helpful for learning Python (so far) and the most basic, beginner level. Great for bite sized learning without being overwhelming. Some lessons are a bit rushed and the app would help digest the material better if there were practice projects that offer help along the way. Overall great app though. Happy customer!

Loads of different coding languages to choose from, however it's not that enjoyable. Needs to be funnier. Teaches you pretty well though.

This is fantastic for learning. The explanations are not only clear but concise as well and it really takes you step by step. It quizzes you a lot so you’re more likely to remember whist you’ve learned. The only thing I hate is that it’s a subscription service. I’d be more likely to cough up money if it was a one time purchase for the entire app

If I’m going to be honest this game is super straightforward and fun it helped me code my first project and it’s really basic and easy for beginners so it will probably be easy for you to.If I could rate this game out of ten I would rate it a 10/10 very good game

This is a great app and I would rate it 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that it does not run C# or C++ or any of the other basic game development programs.
Too choppy
App is alright... I was hoping to find a continuation of Py but the lessons are too broken up, not as engaging. I would rather it just be one fluid continuation. “Cannot type even though it’s asking me to...” *problem fixed after fully closing and opening app*

I really like this app - the way the courses are presented and the UI. You can use it for free which is what im currently doing but i might purchase a yearly sub soon (wish there was an option for a 1 time for life fee).

Very under rated app!
This app is great, very helpful. To improve, 1) make it clearer when you get something right. Because there aren’t set responses, it’s sometimes confusing. I think this is fun, but maybe a sound or different coloured writing? 2) Sounds in general! It would make the app 10x better. 3) More interactivity. Getting to write the code myself is how I remember it best, I like this feature. However it’s usually just a selection from a few words, which doesn’t get my brain working enough to remember it. Maybe a ‘try it yourself’? Where you must write a code from scratch, just given an outline of the task you must complete with a button you can press for hints. That would be great. 4) More programming languages. I hope this was helpful :) can’t wait to see where this app goes
Good lessons but...
The lessons I'm face with are very intuitive and gets understanding fast but I feel like there would be a lot more downloads by schools and people if you made the rest of the lessons free because my school teaches coding in computing and we have iPads distributed but can't use them in that lesson so this app could be the saviour but well done on the app so far it's really good
