Issue with lifetime membership
I bought a membership lifetime and the app is saying that I will have this membership until august 26, which means until this month. Could you help me to verify it and change it?
I really like it, but…….
I think this app has a lot of good information classes and the ability to do a lot of cool things, but the application is making it so that you can’t get your certificate and the courses aren’t loading all the way If you could please help me out. I would really appreciate it. Great job on the app guys, but I think they’re still a little bit of bugs going on. If you could check it out for iOS and Apple products on my iPhone it doesn’t work it all and on my iPad. It won’t let me get my certificate.
Pros, Neutrals, & Cons
Pros: Teaches coding, works on iPhone, has many different types of coding lessons. Neutrals: Gives you certificates. Unclear whether these mean anything or are just cool to have. Cons: Many lessons were obviously written by people who don’t English as the first language. I mean it’s great they try their best though, but sometimes that can be a little distracting or confusing. But the much worse con is that if you pay for the lifetime subscription to the pro model, you will find out in a couple years that it isn’t a lifetime subscription. And that tapping “Restore Purchase” will not work. But if you’re fine with dishonesty and having to re-pay the $40-ish every few years then it’s not an issue for you.
Super buggy :(
I like to use this app as an easy intro to a new topic. I like the cheat sheet of key words with quick explanations and examples. And the courses are pretty easy to understand for a shallow overview before I look to other sources. But to be 100% honest, this app is not the best way to learn a new coding language. There’s lots of typos. There’s lots of coding errors that cause the app to render incorrectly and make some of the content unreadable (This is highly unideal for a literal coding app). The certificates do not stick, no matter how many times you re-earn them. So many buttons do not work and are obviously just there for show. And it crashes. All the time. I am happy to continue using this app as my introduction to learning a new skill app. It fulfills that purpose very well! But please just fix the constant crashing,, Sometimes it won’t even let me open the app before crashing. Other times, like right now, it crashes every time I go into the programs tab for sql.

ads forced in an annoying way
The second time I had to watch an ad, I watched the first ad, then HAD TO WAIT 15 seconds before I could watch the second one, so, in assumption that I would progress EVEN SLOWER next time, I deleted the app (sorry, but only a little)
Good but not syncing from mobile to tab the progress
Only concern is unable to continue my learning from multi devices. Like I have this app on android phone and as well with this iPad app. Though logged in with same account, it is not syncing my progress. The progress seems stays only on local device. Frustrating this.
Crash
course keeps crashing, support in no longer existent, the web version and the app version don’t sync. Has problems generating certificates. The materials are good and have a lots of potential. But it appears to be of no longer interest for its developers.
It used to be good...
First off, I would like to say that I used to love programming hub. The UI was easy to navigate, it was quick enough, and there weren't really any issues with the text. As of about a year or two ago, however, a lot has changed. The UI is slow and clunky. There isn't an easy or quick way to access your certificates, making it a hassle to access even one. There is also a course that I have completed, but the "unlock certificate" button simply does nothing. The biggest problem with this app is the text. I'm not sure who wrote half of these courses, but it's trash. Many lessons are littered with grammatical mistakes and many others have false information. I would love to recommend programming hub. After all, it won an award in 2017. It seems some time after that though, they gave up. I want to see improvements again. When I want to learn a new language, I want to WANT to go to this app to learn, but it's just such a hassle and not the best way to learn anything it seems.

Uh Premium Scam?
I bought lifetime a while ago, I starkly remember and have a javascript cert I got way back when I got it. I logged on today, valid I have not opened this app in probably a year or two but “lifetime” is lifetime right? Kinda feel like I got scammed and it sucks cause I liked the layout and style of the app.

Great app, but…
What happened? I use this service on the web. I paid for pro lifetime a few years ago. I have several courses completed but when I log into the app with the same account. It shows the courses I have completed but says I don’t have pro. Which I do. Not happy with the IOS app!

Best Free Coding Lesson App
This app is actually a free app, with the main things being locked behind a paywall are coding courses. It means that the free courses are offered in their entirety, without a single lesson in the course locked. Also, this game doesn’t gatekeep free knowledge with a heart system that supposedly “better” apps like Mimo and Sololearn do. I pray that this app doesn’t do that. My one small complaint, is the AI voice and the occasional typo (don’t worry, the typos are just for the information and not for the actual code that they use for examples). Other than those, it’s a solid five if they had a few more of the paid ones for free.
Terrible app
Sign-in is broken and most things have a price tag on them, which you can easily find online.
Bugs/glitches - please fix them
Once I finished the python course, I was absolutely elated!! I felt more confident in my skills when going through pieces of code and it has allowed me to write and understand many programs. Still feeling excited, I decided to start a new course, after all I spent roughly £50 on my lifetime subscription. I downloaded the “ethical hacking” course while I was browsing the many available courses. To my surprise, when I tried to open it the app just crashed and kicked me out. I tried a lot of things but it didn’t work. I then tried to download another course but it also kicked me out. I then searched up a c++ specifically and it actually worked only once I had searched it. It seems when you download a course off where it says “learn” without searching a specific course it does not work. Now I am very upset as I was really excited to get into the “ethical hacking” course but I can’t seem to get it to work no matter what I do :(

I wanted to reset my password wanted to input the code they sent me to my email and error. Stupid thing now that i exceeded my daily reset password because of it i have lifetime membership and now i have to pay again and what about my certificates. So stupid

Best app for coding
Consistent jumping, and can’t login to my account
It’s a great learning tool, however, the app keeps jumping from my learning page, to then tell me that I’ve already got pro, and after that back to the home page I tried logging out to see if it would resolve this issue, and have found it difficult to log back into my account, as it goes through the welcome screen again and doesn’t let me go past the notification screen unless I delete and reinstall, and even then I can’t seem to get into the account I registered with
Really good…
A lifetime user here. Two star less because there are many errors and some functions are missing such as being able to cancel a started course. Also many times there is an error by which I am unable to see all the course thumbnail, their disceiptions or they don’t even load properly sometimes. That being said, please reply me if you guys can and also please resolve all these issues I’ve mentioned, i’ll really give those pending stars back. Really good work, soo many courses! Loving it….

The UX is good but lessons are a bit too basic if you already know the basics
This is based on the SwiftUI course which I’ve taken and I’m certified, and the Swift course which I’m currently working on. I recommend offering projectized courses where the student actually builds something like a bug tracker that they can retool into many different kinds of apps like a scrum PM app, etc. The courses do not cite the sources where we can find more detailed docs from Apple Developer documentation. This is a missed opportunity and would lend credibility to your platform. Furthermore, unlike SoloLearn/Codecademy there is no forum feature that allows students to discuss lessons with other students or instructors/course writers. No Q&A. Another missed opportunity. This missing feature will hold back this app’s growth. There’s also no courses available for prepping for the AWS architecture/dev ops exams. Very crucial for anyone who wants to actually know what they’re doing as a tech professional in today’s environment. There’s also no course work available for the scrum.org exams, product owner, scrum master, these are all crucial knowledge a tech professional is expected to have for one’s career growth. Hire me! I’ll write the courses myself! Good luck and keep working on it, it will get better.
Its very Buggy
Its not very good when an app thats supposed to teach you different types of programming languages is full of bugs itself. I purchased the Pro version becuase I like all the programming languages it offered, but After I complete a course and get the certificate , if I close the app or log in on another day my certificate is gone. I also seem to lose my progress. Some courses Ive finished and printed the certificates in show 80% complete the following day. Its very frustrating. Also it would be nice to add a section where you can actualy write the code as opposed to just answering the multiple choice questions.

Easy to Understand but you can’t actually code
This is amazing! They’re courses are really easy to understand and it’s not confusing! However, You can’t actually code.
Feels neglected and unfinished
The courses are great to give you the first steps The app let's it down. - No dark mode means it's harsh on the eyes - No sync between devices is embarrassing. How can you be taken seriously to teach coding when you haven't even coded in synchronisation between another iOS device - No optimisation for new iPhone 14 Pro devices and the slightly altered safe zone. Means the dynamic island overlaps the back button at the top, so to go back you have to close the app
App stuck
I took its pro membership but it’s getting stuck every now and then. Please don’t make me regret for purchase. Improve it ASAP

Disappointing
Used for C# refresher after many years away, seemed ok and was useful as a reminder of the programming language. Once complete I did the test for a certificate (just for hell of it), at least half of the questions where NOT from the course I’d just completed, I even went back to check in case I’d missed a large sections but I hadn’t. Ultimately this spoilt my perception of the quality of this product.

Constantly Losing Pro Membership
Bought the Pro membership years go and have been using the app on and off. I’ve had to contact for help/fix multiple times and they can never resolve the issue very inconvenient. For an app that’s about programming/technology this seems like something that shouldn’t be happening. Definitely a scam.

There’s better out there
This app has a good premise, the lessons are concise, however it has problems. I’ve done the C# course and found the lessons were OK, but when doing the final test you get asked complex questions containing features you weren’t taught in the lessons! So essentially if you rely on just this app, you will never pass the final test and get your certificate at the end. I’m very glad I only got one month of pro to try it, I won’t be getting any more than that.
No progress synchronisation across devices
You cannot synchronise progress between devices. Whilst not a deal breaker an app teaching programming should be better than this. It’s a pity because in many ways it is superior to its rivals. Better interface, superior pedagogy and quite straightforward to use. The communications from the app team are frequent but vacuous a lot of the time This problem wouldn’t stop me buying the app (I have) it’s good features outweigh the bad but I am disappointed.
