A Great App But One Big Problem
There’s no doubt that this is a great app. It has many good features in great quality. But there’s a glaring problem and that is when you select 30 FPS it’s really 29.97 and not 30NDF (Non-Drop Frame). You might think that shouldn't matter, and most of the time it doesn't until you have multiple cameras and an independent audio recorder. Some are set for 30NDF because they believe ProMovie's “30” as that only to find out it isn’t. This isn’t very “Pro” for a “ProMovie”Recorder. PLEASE FIX THIS!
External mic won’t work
Good app overall and have used for several years. But my USB mic doesn’t work any more. Shows up as a mic option ‘USB PnP Sound Device’ - but I cannot select it. Same mic and cables have worked before. Did app change?? Emailed App but no response.
Nice App - Codec not Good
I like the app, it is easy to use. Unfortunately, it uses HEVC codec instead of the more standard H.264 - It makes the footage look bad when using in editing software and exporting.

I have followed all the directions, given permissions, deleted and repurchased this app with NO way to capture audio, and Panda has no support! While this looks great - no obvious way to capture audio makes it completely useless!
Change layout for Vertical shooting
Why is the layout/interface automatically in horizontal? I wish the developers would change it so when you rotate, we can see the buttons in vertical. It’s 2024 so many creators are creating in vertical! Please update with this🙏great app otherwise

Vises don’t work
For some reason when I try to stop recording it won’t. The in screen button won’t stop it. Really bummed about this I knew I should not have gotten because the trial didn’t work either. Eventually it says video has stopped and then it can no longer record. There is no support apparently either Iphone7 iOS 15.8
Great App
I just shot a college project on it an it came out great - I just wish it had a working iwatch app that controlled it.

Where is support?
This is almost better than Filmic Pro/Filmic Legacy but…
It needs some more manual control, color settings, focus peaking, etc. We also need to be able to adjust the exposure independent of Shutter and ISO.
Add photo capability
This app is awesome but why not add photo capability of em I missing how to do that ? It seems like it’s should have it automatically.. please add this to this app. Other wise 5 stars !

This app does not work with an external audio source.
I’m liking it but….
Is there no delay timer? I would like to get in position prior to the video recording starting. I don’t see any sort of timer to allow this. I will update to five stars if that is there and I’m just not seeing it.

Hey Developers! Please HELP! Can’t find footage.
I purchased the app even though there doesn’t seem to be any difference whatsoever between the paid app and the free app. I like to support developers who offer you free use and don’t slam you with a whole bunch of ads and what not. Since this developer did that I had no problem buying the paid version. However I’m really frustrated because I did record some great shots for a Stop Motion animation I’m working on right now and I can’t find them. I worked for hours and hours and they’re just gone. When you book studio time and have people you’re paying to be there and then you lose the footage, well let’s just say I wanted to cry. Now I have to come up with the money to redo all of it using a different app or a handheld camera the only reason I wanted to use an app in the first place was so I didn’t have to stop recording and load a video and go back-and-forth messing with it. Unfortunately I think that’s what I’m gonna we’ll have to wait I’m doing anyway. If the developers still check this and you could respond with a way for me to locate an archive or draft folder or anything similar that I’m just not seeing, that be great. I will change this to a five star review and sing your praises. But in the meantime I got to go re-record several hours of video so I’m a little bit grumpy right now
Amazed — Flawless Execution for Me
I’m the FIRST person to tell folks that I am as far away from knowing what the heck I’m doing within the realm of photography, much less videography…however, one does not need to be anything but intelligent enough to compare & contrast features / benefits, resulting quality, ease of use / intuitive, etc. This is all ✅➕. The resulting video that is produced using this app is stunning 🤩 . (DISCLAIMER: we here at really crappy video company realize the word “stunning,” along w/ “robust” & “unpack” are 1/2 the people’s “go to” buzz’ers*…while the other half & I REALLY squirm whenever those terms are used because that means they are being OVERUSED. My new iPhone 15 Pro Max is ridiculous. Simply put, it seemingly makes images appear in 3D. That is BEFORE I open this app. Once it is open, somehow, it takes it to a whole other strata and now my mind is going 1000 miles a second. I have a VERY athletic Boston Terrier who LOVES to catch tennis balls shot out of the guns…I’ve gotten incredibly footage already, but now I’ll be able to see specs of dirt, grass, EVERYTHING. He’s on my IG @Stu623. Haha! I don’t sell anything. Don’t worry 😉 *simply means buzzwords

Good basic video recorder
Has some good features and is good value for money, better than its price suggests. The Apple Watch app is absolutely tremendously useless, it literally does not work. I’ve sent two emails to the support address and not received any response so support seems non existent. It’s a shame. I’ve moved to MoviePro with the MoviePro remote so I can control recordings remotely. That’s much pricier but if you just need basic, single device video recording with excellent advanced options and audio input choices then ProMovie+ will get the job done.

В платной версии тоже не дает записывать стерео звук. Управление очень странное. Например, если зафиксировать выдержку, то с ней и iso фиксируется. Зачем? Ну и при закрытии приложения все настройки выдержки и экспозиции слетают, будь добр по новой настраивать.

I can’t seem to find an option for a simple remote control?? Would be nice.
Great app, needs a timeline bookmark feature
It would be very useful to have a bookmark button that would timestamp the video for easy access to that point after recording is done. That way, if there are points to crop out or save to a separate clip, it’s much easier to find.

Great - shame Watch remote unreliable
I use this for recording meetings. Great manual controls to set and lock exposure, if needed, and zoom for either front or back cameras. Selectable video resolution and audio sampling rates. Sound pickup is good from phone’s mikes at a distance but use radio mikes to reduce pickup from audience. Using iPhone12 - on old phone, Apple Watch worked as remote control but now cannot cannot connect unless already recording and then loses connection when watch sleeps. This had been a great feature and will raise to 5 starts if it can be restored.

This may be an awesome app, but I wouldn’t know. After paying for it I can’t figure out the interface at all. Absolutely no help on the developer website or in app. Even something as simple as setting. The shutter speed is ridiculously confusing and frustrating. Very disappointing.
It’s okay
Love the app, offers more features than the standard camera app BUT it’s not easy to close out of the app! Why??? It’s like I have to shut my phone down to close out the app!!!
Unusable crashing trash
Used to be great, I loved recording at 1080p 240 fps. Now the app just crashes every time I press record. Even trying to write a review for this app has my phone on bed rest….. fix the stuff we pay for, or at least take provide us with a legacy update or something…..,

Can someone tell me how to recover my photos and videos that were once on this app? I removed the app at one point and decided to add it back. Now my photos and videos are no where to be found. I did purchase the plus version as well. Help please.

Don’t know why I bought this app as well being it’s the exact same one as the other one. Save you time and save your space on your device and don’t download this 3.3mb app. Even if you have zero projects in your folder you will have 20 gigs of space took up. Like why?

So yea. This app can shoot nice videos. It has a lot of features useful to those who understand cameras - specifically those who understand principles of light. But WHY in gods name would they not automatically save the videos to your camera roll?!? WHY?!? Why would you make something that’s supposed to make filming better and easier (since the native iPhone video app is SO bad and lacks even the most basic of manual settings) only to NOT make the videos immediately accessible to the person? I’ve rated it a three. The app does great stuff. But enjoy reading through how you have to plug in your phone, or do some other more complex export JUST to see the video you JUST recorded. This was clearly written by programmers with absolutely no mind to UI usability and flexibility. There is NO compete team that would accept having to go through MORE steps just to access what the sole purpose of the app is for in the first place. I’m angry for having spent the money on this app and I’ve NO idea why this little fact isn’t highlighted first and foremost. And if the developers are so sure that their more convoluted file saving method is so great, then wonderful! List it as the FIRST feature. But I think we all know it’s NOT a good thing and all they’ve done is replace one set of problems with another.

Good app
This is a very good app, lot of basic features and easy to use, only it would be great if it could record the audio in stereo. I tried various recording audio formats and it always gave a mono audio result on my videos. Is there a soon update for this issue? Would greatly appreciate the stereo feature.
Decent but...
I enjoy it and it has some decent features but their support email doesn’t work and it’s seems unlikely to support iPhone 12 features like Dolby HDR. Probably a dead app.

480p Please!
Can we please get some lower resolutions, eg 480p, 320p, even 200p please. All other apps including Wattapp (520p I believe) can do lower resolutions. Seems crazy because it’s “pro” app we can’t recode or go lower for example for emails. Missing last star for this reason. All good though.
Distortion in playback
Was using the app with no problems. I’m guessing in record mode it distorts and I hear it in playback.

I used to love this app, but since ios11 I now get green bars on my videos at the top. Please fix this because otherwise it is a wast of money!!
