Star Map 2 app
Excellent app! I like how it moves along sky & horizon and displays the names of stars & constellations. Great tool when we’re camping & star gazing.
Awful
This app will piss you off more if you’re having a bad day. Literally just shows Uranus…I guess and Jupiter
Simple and smooth
I love this APP it’s very simple to use just point your phone and it tells you what your looking at
How about a little guidance
Just downloaded it, and it’s not at all explanatory. Ugh. Okay, so maybe it’s me… maybe not.
Eh
I love the app but some times it doesn’t get the time right like I thought the moon was to the left of me and it was on the opposite side of me
Just awesome
Captures all stars major and minor. Great for major events like Perseus showers
I miss Google Sky!
Every sky map I’ve tried pales in comparison to Google Sky. Not sure why it was discontinued. Nowadays it seems like anything that works well and is of good quality is scrapped and replaced with a lesser quality version.
STARMAN
I love this APPLICATION AND ACCUACY
Should have ISS passing over schedule
See above
constellation
À l’origine on pouvait ne pas faire apparaître les constellations qui représentent une gêne pour comparer la vue réelle et l’image. cordialement
Eyes on the sky
Have been using this app for a few years. I’m a Boy Scout, older (70) on the water, outdoors in the dark guy. Learned the sky from the Field Book back in 1968 wearing a red lens filter hip light. Autumn’s night sky is a favorite.
Junk
Don’t waste your time
Science Teacher
Good
Mediocre
Not happy but best I’ve found for an Apple phone. Missing my old android for stargazing.
Great
Great basic app. I used it to identify planets. I wish you could turn off the constellations. I did not enjoy having stupid astrology animals covering the sky when I just want basic ID.
Star map
It is so good
For a free app, I would pay if they promise to never advertise to me again
App designers clearly needed a check and fast..
Great App
So far I love the app. It is everything that I was looking for in this type of app. Very useful and informational ! As well as simple to use
Clumsy, unintuitive
Difficult to use. Zoom in or out and you lose star labels or end up looking at a circle representing an entire hemisphere of stars and it’s clumsy trying to get back to live view. Does not track intuitively. Not a good app for the enjoyment of identifying celestial bodies.
I love that the stars are all hearts!!
I would like this better if it was full size and live tracking together.
Really Good
Great
Doesn’t calibrate.
Junk.
Love this App
I Love this App!!! Enough said! Enjoy
Compass bearing is jacked up.
Compass is way way off
Easiest app ever
This is the easiest app on my phone! You literally just point it in the direction of a planet or star and it’s identified. I love astronomy and I love this app!
Doesn’t work
Star tracking is hopeless.
Poor alignment
Good map of sky but alignment out by varying amounts, sometimes 15 mins, at others up to 2 hours (using moon as datum), so can become guess work
Great!
This app is awesome, its easy to use and straightforward and it isnt laiden down with ads- i REALLY appreciate that. I feel comfortable letting my young children use it, its really fun and informative.
Wack
Star accuracy is good. However, theres no info provided on any star besides weird Greek names
Enjoy it
Sky map is really cool and interesting wish it had an option where it only showed stars that were visible
Wow!!!
Lots of ground references which help with locating celestial objects.
No longer works right.
Active tracking no longer works.
Bien Mais
Cet appli est cool mais il n’y a pas toutes les constellations et étoiles
The solar system
Sun and moon and earth and mars
Doesn’t work
I played with this app for a while and was unable to make it work.
Simple et complet
Cette appli me convient car elle est facile d’utilisation
Love it
Love love this app!!!
application unusable
Whatever Change that was made made the application unusable
Sky map
Great way to see the planets and constellations in our area. Love it!
