App crashing
I am having the same issues as the last reviewer. This happens after iOS updates. Last time in April I had deleted the app and then remit after a week and it started working. But now it is not starting even if I do that.
Problems
The app will not open on my iPhone. I have deleted and reinstalled. When I “try” to open the app, it immediately closes.
Please fix bug
It crashes anytime I try to open the app
Crashing upon open
Love this app, but for the past month, it hasn’t worked. It continuously crashes upon open. Hope it gets fixed cause I love the app.
Crash
Keeps crashing want to use it, but can’t access anything
Crashes ever since iOS update.
I love this app more than anything. But since the latest iOS update, it crashes the second I open it.
Not functioning
App crashes upon opening, it used to function well until recently
Won’t open after software update
Os updated and now the app closes as soon as it opens.
Too many bugs
I enjoyed the free version for years and then purchased the upgrade. Since that purchase, I haven’t been able to use the app - for months. I’ve deleted and reinstalled but nothing helps. Please fix the bugs. I open and it immediately closes.
Crashing
I’ve been using this app for maybe over 2 years. But for the last few months everytime I try to get on it and press on a planet , constellation, or start it crashes. I used to love this app so much and it was so helpful for me to remember planetary moment and track the planets and stars. I’m very sad it doesn’t work anymore because it was the best out of any other app I used. PLEASE FIX IT. I WANT MY APP BACK
PLANET FINDER
This app is amazing, although whenever I try to check something like the location of the Moon or any other thing it just crashes. But before, it was a great help to find out about the night sky about a year ago - when it didn’t crash. I used money on this app too, but I might delete it because it’s been crashing for a very long time. Please fix the bug. Also, this only worked on my IPhone 6 but I’m using IPhone 13 mini now and it doesn’t work. I think these new IPhones don’t work as the app is around 15 years old or more.
Stopped working
This used to be a great app but it suddenly stopped working. I thought it might just need to be updated but I have the latest version. Restarting the phone doesn’t help. When I cluck to open the app it will pop up like it’s going to open then it just crashes and that’s it. Bummer
It’s okay
I was good for a while until it crashed I can’t use it until they fix it and it just crashes a lot
Used to be great
Used to use this app regularly, and loved it. Recently, though, it crashes immediately after opening, over and over. Tried deleting it downloading again; still won't function at all.
Crashes constantly
I’ve had this app for quite a few years. Lately the app crashes as soon as you pick a planet. I’ve paid for a few extra things on this app to use. This was an amazing app. The best one I had for planet finding. Please fix it ASAP.
Master Hector
My best star & planet Finder
App quit working.
It keeps crashing
Haven’t been able to use at all
It crashes and says they’re working on a bug fix. It’s been months..
No longer works
It was a great, useful app but ever since updating my iPhone 11's software to OS26, it continuously crashes. That was months ago. Please fix.
Very nice
I love this app when it’s working. It has recently been down with a bug. I tried deleting and reinstalling. For now, it’s a wait and see.
i like the app
thanks to this app i saw the planet alignment
Yet another example of a greedy developer disabling a formerly good app
I am one of the many who recently discovered, to my great disappointment, that the app instantly crashes as soon as I tap the icon to load it. I haven’t touched a single setting on my phone, haven’t touched the software or OS, but now the app just crashes. It really sucks when greedy developers take away functionality from formerly great apps. Never have I missed the days more when you used to buy your software on discs and the manufacturer had NO way to disable it after the fact. I despise this immensely greedy culture that has developed around the internet and smart phones and apps.
Astounding experience
A marvellous experience! I find this app to be useful and thrilling! The in-app purchases are very cheap and well worth it.
Non functional
Used to be great, but this app hasn’t worked for many months.
Broken on the newest iOS
Unfortunately this app has broken for the latest iOS and doesn’t seem to have been updated in a long time. It was great but crashes consistently unfortunately.
Please fix the bug
I love this app more than anything. It is the best that I’ve discovered out of all the others when it comes to planet finding and it’s the most accurate and less complicated than others. but recently there’s been a bug I can’t even click on planets in the visible or not visible to know where they even are at. It crashes every single time the second I tap on any planet. Please fix this. This was my favorite.
Crashes upon Opening
Keeps crashing immediately upon opening. Fix it and I’ll change the review to 5 stars. This app was perfect.
It’s fun!
Once you work out how it’s easy to use and very accurate.
Broken
SSL certificate expired can’t launch app.
Needs updating
Was good, now the app can’t see GPS, can’t do much with it now
Planet and stars finder
I like to use it with my grand kids, easy to use, but lately has been crashing and sometimes we can’t even open it. Even with that I give 5 stars
Crashes!!
I’ve been paying for this app for years and it just doesn’t work it crashes
Easy peasy
So easy to use Whoever made this Well done
It’s b re open
I use the free version but the app seems to be broken for a while now. What gives?
Totally worth it
It’s definitely worth it if you love space and always want to see where the planets are. I’ve learnt loads tho the gp part really annoys me aside from that great app also it says, for eg Venus is not visible from your location and then it is so what? Pls fix it but I highly recommend it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I rate it thee stars out of five!
Brilliant
Brilliant
Crashed App
This app has a bug and crashes upon loading. Zero stars.
Great educational tool!
Please don’t try to find planets during daylight. 😂
Basic
This up is really basic, but wants money for more options, I would first learn to create better apps before charging people
It’s a really good app to have...
It’s a really good app to have to get an appreciation of the night sky. It would be more helpful it it would switch to landscape view than stay in vertical portrait view. I await being corrected.
Easy to locate planets
Great to show and teach kids about the whereabouts of the planets in the solar system truly amazing
Don’t get it
Trash didn’t work it told me the moon was beneath me, but I could see it in the sky
Back again and working
This app stopped working and I emailed support who fixed it! It's a nice easy to use planet, and star/satellite finder. Quick and easy to use.
Poor quality
Poor quality of the product, ugly and unnecessarily complicated. Constellations appears only when you pointed them on the screen. I paid extra for two additional packages- satellites and constellations- just to find out there are much much better apps for similar price.
Can’t see all stars in a constellation
I paid for the stars and constellations packs, yet when I can clearly see a constellation in the sky, and it is named on the app, when I switch to stars, it doesn’t name all the stars in that constellation.
Excellent
Excellent app used it all the time
Crashed on iOS 26+
I really liked this app, but just letting folks know it is current not functioning
In app purchase
problems resolved, all restored, great app
Needs more work
A nice idea but one that is better implemented in other apps. Somewhat inaccurate in the positioning of the crosshairs and the overview tells me that a planet isn't visible when it clearly is
It's ok
It is better used at night time when you can tell which dot is a planet
