Loving it
Dude this app is awesome. I was able to fond multiple constellations. It was so fun!
Horoscope shower
I downloaded app thinking it was similar to a digital telescope but it was hovering over planets with lynx libra and persus malarkey no thanks
Good app
So it zooms in on objects very well but not good constellation 🌌 drawings
App constantly freezing up
Many, many times have I been outside at night trying to show someone the constellations or just use the app and it stayed frozen. After giving the app more than enough try’s I finally deleted it. Great concept, poor performance.
Thanks
Great
Very intrusive App
Omg not being able to navigate away from a screen even not being able to shut down your phone to avoid a request for access is appalling. I uninstalled your very intrusive app.
Good App - Iffy Interface
Overall I really like Stellarium. But there is one design choice that is so frustrating that it really makes me want to use other sky apps for Astro. Specifically, when you are required to enter a number, you can’t just type it in. No, the developer has fallen for the fallacy that it’s better to use spinners and sliders. Even worse, when entering a focal length, you need to use not one - BUT TWO - sliders. So a 1377 mm focal length you have to sin the first spinner u til you hit 13, then spin the second spinner till you hit 77. So instead of taking two seconds to type 1377, it takes 15 to 20 seconds to spin it in. It’s ridiculous. I know it seems like a small thing. But when you have Stellarium on your phone and on two iPads, and they don’t sync with each other, and you routinely are adding new scopes or cameras, well, the frustration becomes real. A classic example of interface over function. This is literally the only thing I dislike about the app. In all other aspects it great. But this one point is just needlessly complicated and frustrating.
Purchase
Sounds like they’re too greedy. You don’t get the best view. You would have to buy it. It’d be nice if they just sold more stars, but it’s not really nice that everything slightly blurry.
By all the reviews I can tell
Saying that this is one of the best star gazing apps I’ve heard although theres one thing the downloading speed. It just keeps taking up to 10 mins and gets higher every time
Stellarium app
One of the best apps I’ve used.
you can’t even Purchase the Plus in or out of store
What I don’t understand is android and iOS you can’t even Purchase the Plus in or out of store, this is is across the board two iPhones a tablet and an android phone you simply can’t even purchase Plus there’s no integration of payment system “store not available” you “(keep pushing updates)” but haven’t fixed the problem for years.
Super
Can’t purchase Stellarium plus
I have been using this app for ages but wanted to purchase the plus version for my iPhone 17 pro max. Unfortunately I can’t do this as it won’t let me? I tried with my Google pro 10 and I can purchase with this phone but not my iPhone. Can anyone help me out?
Very good recommendation!
I love this app as a starting astronomer. But, I would like if there was a feature where you could scan your yard\area to show the obstacles infront of objects so you know what objects are within your visible, unblocked sky?
I feel Scammed
I bought two times the pro version of Stellarium and on the app still show the free version, I can’t access to pro features. I already tried to restore on the buy page and reboot the phone but nothing works, I write to support team and they don’t answer, I feel so Scammed
Suggestion
Wish I could turn off Sky Cultures completely, and turn on IAU constellation boundaries. Also set the constellations to all be visible all the time, instead of only the one in the center of the screen being ‘active’.
Good
Beat app for track planet
Waste of $$
Waste of money .... paid for it and can't use it! It shouldn't be so difficult.
Love it but…
Paid for the pro version. Recent update seem to take away the option where I have saved telescope sensor combo where it shows you the field of view. I use this all the time! Has it been moved? Put it back please! Will put it back to 5 stars when restored
great app
great app easy to use. Night sky with labels on planets and constellations.
Location
It’s not accurate
Love watching stars
Great for the night sky
Planets seem to have moved
Well here I am pointing my phone in the direction of where this app says the moon is and it’s about 30degrees out which is a lot when you’re start tracking
Cool app, won’t calibrate
Very cool app, love the AR overlay, but the calibration won’t load correctly. When actually pointed at what is obviously the moon and mars, the overlay shows it many degrees to the right. Which completely throws everything off once you’re trying to actually decipher the unknown night sky
Very educational
This app blowing up the itch I’ve always had for astrology. The interface and accessibility are both rewarding and appreciated. Thank you! I will recommend.
Fake
Fake fake fake
Good
Search could use some improvements but over all good
inaccurate
very cool app, i love the zoom in feature and detail you can get. but i found that everything was a bit off and to the right when you used to pointing to the sky feature
Great app
This app is one of the best star maps, it is super accurate and when you point it at the night sky it’ll show you the exact star or planet you are looking at. It is super realistic and helpful. It is also free. I recommend if you want to learn more about space Because it also has events and information about different cultures constellations and their drawings. Great app! 10/10
Law of diminishing returns
I’ve loved this app over the years, but, they are slowly making it barely useful by locking more and more standard features behind a paywall. I can’t even filter objects that are only currently visible. Time to uninstall and chuck this app in the rear view. I’ll most likely be moving to another app that I wouldn’t mind paying for. I won’t pay for basic functionality like Stellarium is devolving into.
Really cool
The only thing that needs improvement is the way planets and stuff look
Location
I downloaded this app after I’ve gotten a telescope I was fascinated with space and very excited to try this but when I turned it down daytime this was not my location it was a random hut in an empty road and when I typed in my location it said the moon was below me when it was right above me
AWESOME!
I really love stargazing and this is the Perfect app for me. You can find ANYTHING you want. Thank you for such an app.
Wow
No good
Love this app!!
Honestly best purchase I’ve made on an app to date 100%! Super cool and gets the imagination going! 👽
Please fix
I was enjoying this app but when I tried buying it, it put me in a loading screen for a super long time over and over again. Why is this
Good app but often gets direction wrong!
This app is great for learning about the stars and constellations but unfortunately it regularly gets north wrong! It is easy to see when it’s wrong but it is annoying.
Very good
I am glad this app exists and I think it is super cool an I think I found a star with my telescope by th way
Location does not work
It’s a really great app but I don’t use it anymore because it can’t find my location therefore I cannot identify the constellations around me. If the moon is not visible there is no hop that I will locate myself correctly. I live in a large city with good coverage. It’s a real shame.
….,
Not the right Location even though I allowed to track not the right time and right day as well
I love this app
I love to watch the sky but can you make an for free only app, I need to watch every satellite for free please
