i love this game so much, i’ve literally learned all countries and most flags and capitals within a day because of it. my only wish is that there was a way to edit the leaderboard names/delete them because i accidentally saved one of my results under my friend’s name.

I would like to be able to use this in landscape view!! And to switch back and forth if I want to. It’s stupid that I can’t. But I could swear I used to be able to…. Please give us the option. A lot of the quizzes are more verticle than they are horizontal. And it’s so zoomed in I can’t see most of the playing area. When I zoom out, as soon as I release, it zooms right back in again. That’s stupid.
Wow - How fun
I’ve always been insecure about how bad I am at geography. This game is addicting and I’ve learned all the countries in Africa already. It’s great that it’s free with no ads. The only thing I wish it had was lessons for each country where you could get some fast facts about it. Highly recommend.
Inaccurate mapping
Disgusted by the developer’s decision to include Israel as a recognized country and completely wipe Palestine off the map.
Almost perfect
Three updates I would love to see to make this perfect 1. Improved ability to zoom in and out. Having to drag the map around is a bit annoying. 2. Add maps that are currently only on the desktop. I would love to be able to practice the Administrative Divisions of Germany map while I’m traveling. 3. Be able to share custom maps between devices.
Where is Palestine??
The app is helpful but seems to believe all of Palestine is Israel. Now I feel dirty using the app.

More Content Please!!
App is ALMOST perfect if only they updated the app with more content like on the Seterra website. For example, the "270+ Countries, Regions and Territories: Flags - Flag Quiz Game" would be a nice edition to the app cause I can't always access the website on my phone. More provincial flags in general would be nice- especially outside of the European ones. If the app were consistently updated with the same content along with the website, it would add so much more to do. Love the app regardless cause it's the most comprehensive out there!
Not working 😁
I heard it’s a good app but I opened it and it’s forever stuck on the stupid loading screen! All I could see is the loading screen and I timed it and 10 min later it’s StTIL not working. I just wanted to play, and I was so excited to try it out but it won’t load or anything. 😑
Glitches
I enjoy this game however, every single time I play it, it becomes unresponsive. I have to leave and reenter the game, but then it stops responding again. I’m going to take it off my iPad and reload it to hope for a better experience cause I like the game. Too bad.

simple done right
Great straightforward way to learn basic geography, a few issues here and there but nothing that ruins the experience. Best way i've found to use it is making my own quizzes and building up knowledge region by region. The only thing I would really improve apart from occasional glitches is adding a dark mode. Please spare my eyes from ultra necrozma's wrath.

Needs more Global South maps, otherwise good
The app advances your knowledge rapidly, for free, and without ads. There’s also a rich geological section. All that said, it’s frustrating how weirdly uneven is the distribution of exercises. Europe has 105 maps; South America, Asia, and Africa have 15, 27, and 22 respectively. You can memorize all of France’s cities, départements, numbers of départements, Parisian arrondissements, rivers, and wine regions. Meanwhile, Africa’s micro-exercises are far less bountiful. Those little tests are the crown jewel of the app, it’s a shame there isn’t parity of regions represented. You can test yourself in the Europe section on the cantons of Luxembourg, a kingdom of just about 690k subjects. By contrast, Nigeria has upwards of 230 million people and zero unique exercises. I’m not going to savage this app with one star over the issue because I appreciate how an app this useful is free. But I really hope you’re working to address the imbalance I described.

The game is great and highly educational, but the frustrating thing is that it freezes while playing, requiring me to exit and restart the game. This needs to be fixed in the next update.

I love love love love love this app. I HATE how it asks you everytime when you do a map what name u want to enter. Like.. I want to enter MY name? And it gets exhausting typing in after each try. ALSO it doesn’t track the time / date when you complete a quiz, so you can’t tell how you’re improving, and how many tries it took you to get the score you did. Which I HATE. All the maps are accurate and the app is easy to navigate, it’s helped with my geography and it also has a flag option. I love this game I WISH it had more stats. I also hope that someday it’ll autofill my name

Amazing app, great for self guided learning, sticks with what works. Easy to use UI and easy controls. Glad to see apps like this that aren’t centered around money. Thanks Seterra team!
freezes every time
I quite like the concept, but I cannot see it come to fruition because the quizzes freeze immediately after starting. Either the screen becomes unresponsive to touch or all of the flags disappear.
Love this app love the online version better
Great app learned more geography than any formal education ever provided. Just wish that it had the “type” version that is in the website’s game so i can learn the names and spellings of countries better

i downloaded several of the popular free map games. this one surpassed them all. i deleted all the other ones for being full of in app purchases and ads. this reminds me of the old days when you could get a good app for free.

Near Peak Learning, Just One Thing to Add
I’ve gained incredible insight into world geography from this app—the mobile version and the web version. I better understand blurred cultural “lines” and int’l conflicts. The convenience of the mobile version makes this one of the best apps I have downloaded. With that being said, I really want to see the typed answer mode added to the mobile version. Tapping the correct location is great; I use it often, but typing names out really makes things stick for me. I’m sure it’d take a little longer to type on a phone than using an external keyboard, but I think it’d be worth it. Besides that, I think Seterra mobile is peak geography education.

Appen var toppen (5 stjärnor) tills uppdateringar gjorde att den nu buggar väldigt ofta: vissa länder går inte att klicka på och man blir tvungen att avsluta spelet. Hittills har det hänt för mig med Danmark, Moldavien, Panama, Lesotho. De funkar ibland och i vissa av spelen, men ofta inte (jag har en iPhone). Hoppas det kan fixas för det var en jättebra app tidigare.

Maps section gets 5 stars. Love it. Flags section varies from 1-3 stars. Sooo many times the quiz opens to a blank page, and it freezes. Mostly, it happens when I try a quiz that has lots of flags. Frustrating. The issue with the flags drops a great app to only 3 stars, overall.

Don’t think there’s anything more that’s needed. Solves a problem with the perfect solution.
Garbage
It’s free because it’s worthless. I wanted to learn more about the Americas, but most of the islands are unnamed in the app and you can’t even find out what they are. Utterly useless and infuriating.

I liked the interface on the previous version better. The new font reminds me of Comic Sans (i.e. cheesy and hard to read) and is small on the screen, seemingly surrounded by masses of space. You also can no longer swipe to go back when you’re in any of the menus. It just brings up the side menu. It is interesting how the update made a new and less user-friendly interface as opposed to, say, creating new and different quizzes or improving content. It would be easier to learn some of the specific countries’ subdivisions by having smaller, localized quizzes as opposed to ones with 200 items to choose from. And why, for example, is our completion of the Asia section dependent upon learning 50 really difficult Japan flags?

This app is the best geography game on iOS and has even improved (overall) since my initial review, but two glaring issues with the interface prevent me from giving it more than 3 stars. 1) I'm at a loss for words that landscape mode was removed entirely from the game. This is such an essential option for players to use, especially for quizzes with larger maps. Please return this feature. 2) Please also reimplement the ability to freely zoom in and out without it defaulting back to the fixed zoom level of each quiz. If other's appreciate the current way it is then please make it optional. I often really want to play a quiz with the field of view zoomed out, especially on quizzes that are transcontinental. Less crucial requests: -An option to change font size. -A more nimble way of moving around a quiz. Such as gliding around farther with each swipe and being able to stop more gracefully by resting your finger on the screen (without unintentionally selecting a region of the quiz).

The fact that I’m having this much fun while giving my brain a good workout, and not seeing any ads is pretty remarkable!

Worked the first time I opened the app, played a few games. Maybe a week later I tried to open it and it just wouldn’t load. Tried the usual troubleshooting
Not as good as other apps
I wish it was more like the web games where you can type in answers because for the country quizzes it gets very boring if you already know where the countries are because that’s all it quizzes you on.
Love it however
I think the app is pretty straightforward. A simple design and purpose. However, it tends to be pretty much useless especially when you are a beginner in a particular category. Limiting the number of mistakes and circulating them until you’ve learned them moving forward with new questions would improve this app significantly.

Great app for learning but poor updating
I have really enjoyed using this app to expand my Geography, but unfortunately I’ve been learning certain things incorrectly. As apparently this app is not able to keep up with changes to certain facts. One example is the capital of Kazakhstan, which has been Astana now for two years but still listed as Nursultan in Seterra. This is really basic stuff to expect from an app like this, I mean some of these facts rarely EVER change…Have you not updated the app for two years developers?
Can’t log in
I love the games, when I’m able to play them. For a little while I would click the app and I would just sit on the starting screen and it wouldn’t change to the actual game, I wish I could play, pls fix soon
