Silver State credit union
It’s super easy to use. I love it.
Horrible
I paid off my mortgage in cash that day someone from Silver State called me to ask how I wanted the money applied.?? I’m like dude I paid it off. Then I get a call from Timisha Haskins saying that Emily said I wanted to open up a new home loan?? No, I just paid it off. Now two weeks later it’s still not posted. I get a recipe card in the mail from Silver State from Timisha. I’ve called multiple times. I’ve been in the branch multiple times and still nothing. This is absurd. I paid in cash. Also, my husband made a mortgage payment for our other home and it got posted to this mortgage, which he’s never paid on before what is wrong with Silver State.
Missing Feature
Solid app with some good features like Live Support, but I wish there was a way to see how many of your six monthly money transfers you had left in the app. That way you can think twice before moving money to a certain account, I accidentally used all six of my monthly transfers and now I have to wait the whole month to pay off my credit card bills 😳
Lot’s of fees
The only reason I haven’t switched to a bank is because I have so many outside accounts attached to this account. You charge me a monthly check fee and I only use digital payments. You’ve taken hundreds from my account over the years. 💸💸💸💸 I haven’t received much support for any merchant disputes. You always… always! Tell me to work it out with the merchant, even when you know a dispute is their fault. Not happy with you, haven’t been for years and spoke with a lot of teachers about this and a lot of them aren’t happy with you either.
Fix mobile deposit please
The app is great overall, but the mobile check deposit rarely works. There’s always some kind of error with either the picture or some kind of system error. This is an essential feature in modern banking apps. Please fix!

Getting better
Room for improvement has been getting better. Its almost there. Little more help and focus on the camera check deposit picture taking, I have an IPhone 8 best camera in the market. Some reason your proses is having a hard time.
Disappointed! Closing SSSCU bank account soon unless app is updated with this important feature!
So I love the people at Silver State Credit Union. I also like how they are helpful and easy to work with. However I’m not a fan of there quiet machine with a small or no camera that is only available outside their facility where people can easily rob you. Unless you go to a market where their machine is also available but usually broken. And I’m also not a fan of the one feature that’s NOT AVAILABLE on this app, Zelle. Most banks and credit union banks have Zelle built into their apps. I have to use the Zelle app itself to make transfers because this app doesn’t have it intergraded into it. And now that the Zelle app will be no more soon, I’m going to have to switch banks with one that has Zelle built in their apps which is like every other one. If this app doesn’t get Zelle, my family and friends who have silver state credit union will be closing our accounts and moving somewhere else.

I wish there was a branch nearer to my home. Driving clear to Westcliff or Farm is difficult. Otherwise the CU is great.
Best bank ever
I love my credit union all the people are always so kind I’ve been with the schools credit union for over 30 years and they’ve always done a fantastic job and helpful. I’ve been with them for over 20 years.
Behind the times
Every lender I’ve worked with makes it easy to accelerate loan payments. Tesla stated that this was possible. SSSCU makes this very difficult
Great with one prob
Love the newest update, features are easy to access. No problems other than the messages. Crashes every time I click on it. It's not a serious problem, but if when you can, fix the crash. Thanks again.
No echecking
Upset about losing echecking and having to pay for new account each month
24 hour help
There is no 24 hour representative to help after hours also the app sometimes doesn’t allow me to make my transfers which is a problem if I get too close to the due date and when that happens I normally call and speak to someone but it would be great to have help available for 24 hours.

Always having issues
The app is always having page loading issues. Every time I need to pay a bill I use the account to account, it’s always giving “cannot load page”

It's good, All the main info upfront and center. BillPay needs to show an account history of everything but i know thats next on the list to fix.
Functionality
I can use most of the functions but when it comes to mobile deposit it rarely accepts the pictures even under ideal conditions. The back of the check portion doesn’t take any photos I try.

SSSCU is the best!
I’ve had SSSCU since 2008 and I will never switch! I’ve never really had any issues with them and when I did They are always more than happy to help. I’ve had other accounts in other banks throughout the years and nothing compares to SSSCU! LOVE THEM!

Primary purpose of the app doesn't function. How can you allow that?

I love this app, out of all the banking apps I use, Amex, Chase and Wells Fargo it is by far the easiest to use.
