Downloaded your new update and now it only shows one meeting for each day of the week, and it’s the same meeting.
Great but have some suggestions
This is my go-to app since I moved to a big city to find meetings. Because there are so many & I’m still learning my way around, it would be super helpful to have a “notes” feature to help me keep track of which mtgs are which, people from the mtgs etc. It would also be incredibly helpful to have details such as where in the church/building the meetings are, like the room & floor so I’m not wandering all over the place trying to find it, especially at night where it’s dark & not necessarily safe… thanks for a great app
Great Resource - Irritating UI
This app is great for finding meetings but it can be quite frustrating to use - especially when theres no other quality options. I’ve included a list of my gripes below. Nothing too major, and definitely something that the devs could improve upon. Gripes: 1.) The search results do not hold your place in the (sometimes quite long) list of meetings and require users to scroll all the way back down to where you were after clicking on a meeting and returning to the search results 2.) I would greatly appreciate a personal notes section for each meeting to write down important info about it. There are so many meetings, and it can be hard to keep track of them. I REALLY would like to be able to note travel time & directions or other things to remember about specific meetings. Especially since Im normally looking at the app trying to determine which is the most feasible to attend that day without getting frustrated looking up the same address over and over and over again. 3.) Results Sorting: Currently, the app only sorts results by time, when distance would be a great option to select. In reference to gripe #1, this would result in less irritated scrolling 4.) “Add to Calendar” function only works for your default phone calendar - no preferred app options. Additionally, it will add the meeting to whatever section of your calendar app you last used. This has lead to the app adding my AA meetings to my WORK calendar which is VISIBLE to my coworkers. 5.) “Get Directions” option: An option to select directions to the meeting the redirects to your selected preferred map app would save so much time and frustration if users could quickly see the travel time/options when searching for meetings. Anyways, these are my thoughts. I would be incredibly grateful and happy to see these things improve.
Why stuck seeing areas nearby?
Cant change setting to global so now only 2 options whereas this morning I caught one half the world away. Can you please reset distance setting otherwise great!!

Website meeting finder more useful for in-person UK users
Pros: very simple UI and easy to use. Online meeting finder is global, so great for finding a meeting any time of the day. Cons: Only able to filter in person meetings by time not distance. News isn’t relevant to UK users. AA-London.com website featured which isn’t regularly updated and often holds incorrect meeting info, in my experience.
This app makes me wanna drink
I’ve been sent to building without roofs in Arizona. Tells me there’s not a single meeting in Mexico. Possible user error I’ll admit.
Double check with your local council to see if there’s really a meeting
I walked to a meeting, couldn’t get in and after while the lady cleaning the building came out and asked me what I was doing there. I told her that I was there for the AA meeting. She said there hasn’t been a meeting there for five years. There is no way to contact support for the app and there was another girl there who said she really needed to go to a meeting. This is not in the spirit of AA. The lady who was there told me that people show up for the meeting several times a week and last week a guy had taken an Uber there. Some of the people going to meetings are hard up and in a sense leaving this meeting on the app is stealing.

I’m grateful to those that create and maintain this essential recovery tool. It provides comprehensive and navigable access to literature, and, most importantly, vital access to live meetings and fellowship- everywhere and at all times. Pure thanks!

DONT USE THIS APP
I’ve tried to join about 5 different meetings on zoom through this app and every single time it ends up being a guy masterbaiting…. DO NOT USE THIS APP ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING and to those men who get off on that for some reason… YOU NEED HELP or maybe jail time, OR BOTH!!!!!
This is generally a great app
Works great helped me get sober but has one major glitch if you set the location to Manhattan, New York using the location or if you set it using the ZIP Code, it shows you different results so like half the meetings won’t pop up if you show it by ZIP Code and then the other half won’t show up if you show up by location like current location. Please fix this.
Not so good
The original version was excellent. I do not care for the search of meetings. Not the locations that are near my zip code. Sometimes do not change a great program,,, if not broke do not fix
Do Better
As a former alcoholic 😁🙈I can say that we are grateful for any little improvement for meeting access. This app has help me in so many area’s, and I am thankful. I believe with all the technology thats available in this world, this app could be better, but I will take what I can get, and be thankful for it. Ps . The 1s sentence was a Joke. I will Always be an Grateful Alcoholic.😎
Sorely in need of additional features
Why can’t I get the grapevine or AA approved literature here? Why can’t I donate to GSO here? Why doesn’t it have a sobriety counter? I love AA. I support GSO. But it’s a disgrace how behind the times you guys are.
Got rid of LBGTQ filer
Never thought I would be writing a review because an app no longer allowed me to search for inclusive meetings, but here I am.
Notifications/Reminders?
This app is crucial to my daily sobriety and is a reliable, well-designed resource. May I suggest a notifications/reminder system for, say, favourited meetings as well as a scheduled reminder for the Daily Reflection? That would be the icing on the cake. :)
Attendance app?
I can’t believe there isn’t an app that logs your meetings. I imagine there are alot of people that need proof of attendance for probation or court and keep losing their sign in sheet. I think a lot of people would just like to keep track of all the meetings they go to and share it with their friends on Facebook. Someone should definitely create an app for this or add it to this one. People could have their own profiles and add reviews to each meeting so you can see who goes and what they say about it. Id pay for that app.

I love the Meeting Guide app! Simple open it and it will show you all of the meetings near you on the current day. Looking for a different place or day? That is easy to do. Whenever you need a meeting, this app helps you find it. It is a true ally for sober living.
Can’t use unless you accept use of your location
Wouldn’t accept zip code, city, or city state, or city, state. Could be my tracker/vpn app but that is what that is for. I’ll stick to the old reliable paper meeting list. Otherwise was useful in past when it didn’t force my location so if you’re like most people and probably give permissions to all your apps you’ll be fine. Enjoy.
Amazing app
God bless this app. It’s very easy to connect to new meetings all over the world. Here is some feedback for future releases for less barriers: - when a link is in the description it’s not a hyperlink. Therefor is needed to copy and paste into the notes app and click then on the link. A simple hyperlink recognition would be amazing and solve this problem - local time adjustment when looking for a meeting in another spot of the world, it would be nice if my local time Would be considered in the List of meetings. That means i wouldn’t have to count/calculate to check if this meeting is happening. - disabled location Imagine during a global pandemic the need to attend an online meeting wherever we are. With the previous adjustments one could just check dor a meeting wherever in the world and simply attend I love you guys for this app and I’m sure you make the best out of it. Online Meetings Only
Don’t trust this app for meetings in person. I went to three and non of them existed. I’ve found online meetings tho and those work. Good thing I wasn’t attending because I had a burning desire.

Disgusted and offended
Ive had this app for awhile as I debate on attending meetings. I thought i would try to attend an online meeting just now. I joined. There was no meeting. Only one person with a female name. I left and rejoined just to check that i didn’t do anything wrong. When i entered again the camera for the chelsea woman was on and it was a man with his pants down and penis out. Delete app. Never again. Not even gunna try going to a meeting now. Don’t know how to complain to the meeting with the link. Little scared to submit a message via the contact link I found from the apps website. So here we are, complaining how the first time i try to join a virtual meeting and i got penis instead. I would like to be more angry and curse more but I won’t. Thanks for nothing.
