Five Stars!
This app has been with me for almost five years, since I have been sober. I absolutely love the nightly inventory feature and the prayers. Plus the person that runs the app gives to those who can’t afford it. Our program and way of life at its finest!
Not Reliable for Tracking Sobriety Date
I've used the app for many years and they wiped out my sobriety date twice (recently). I emailed them and they never responded. I had to look back at records to make sure I had the correct date to put in Google Calendar. At my age and with almost ten years sober, I don't have the best memory. This app isn't reliable for my needs.
Good
I use this for my NA journey!!
Correction Needed
I only gave it a 2 Star Review so it would get attention !!! Please correct the error in the Thomas Merton Prayer. In the last paragraph, following the word Therefore, it currently reads ‘will I” and it should read ‘I will’ Thank you ! Aside from that, I love the app and am happy to give a 5 Star review !
Amazing Recovery Tool
I have been using this app for about 3 months so far and I haven’t missed a nightly or gratitude list. I pay for the year subscription was was only $20. This app is truly a blessing.
Last update
Can’t login, since last update unable to log in doesn’t recognise email, lost all information.
Simple but enough
Very simple to use. Basic but has what you need. Questions are just enough to prompt reflection
Most useful recovery app!
I’ve used this app for many 24 hours and recommend it to all newcomers 🐸
Tradition Seven Says Hi, You Parasites
It’s disappointing—outrageous, honestly—that a for-profit LLC is making money off of people trying to get sober. “Look Before You Leap Net, LLC” runs this app, and also publishes gambling tip apps right alongside a Gambler’s Anonymous app. That alone should raise red flags. This app charges users to share their nightly inventory. That’s not an extra feature—that’s a core practice for many of us in recovery. Putting that behind a paywall is exploitative. It’s like charging someone for their 4th Step notebook. Even if they claim to donate some profits to AA (which is unclear and unverified), it goes against AA’s Seventh Tradition: “Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.” This app is not a group. This is a business, and it’s profiting off a spiritual program that explicitly rejects commercialism. I’m not against digital tools for recovery. But monetising Step 10 is not just inconvenient—it’s unethical. Please don’t support this kind of recovery capitalism. Use a journal. Use Notes. Use anything else. — A frustrated but sober alcoholic
Review
Very useful, I use it every morning at the beginning of my day.
Recovery
Perfect way for me to track my progress
Should be free
Don’t know why you have a subscription feature on this.
Changed
The app is great except as of a week or so ago the daily reflections page is the wrong reading for the day. I live in New Zealand and the reading is yesterday’s. I could manually change it in the old DR linked page but can’t now, it would be the same for Australians too.
Amazing app
I love this app, it’s helped motivate me to be consistent
Can’t change time zone
I’m assuming it’s only good if you live in America, I live in Australia so the time zone is out and it can’t be changed.
Font Size
There is no option to adjust font size. Always requires glasses to see the text for us older folks.
Rob B
What an incredible way to help me pack into the stream of life!
Doesn’t work
Paid for the membership and it won’t let me text or email my report because it’s saying I haven’t paid. I have proof I paid. Also when I go to advise and get help it states that the website is no longer available.
Great and useful app esp for our environment!!
Just started using this app after my sponsor told me about it. Am really enjoying it and how I can set a reminder to do it on my phone. Also great that I don’t have to waste paper as I hear of others who bulk photocopy the daily inventory pamphlet to use each night. I can also do my spot check inventory at the time and not have to wait til I get home and hope I recall it properly. I’m an NA peep but this app is just as relevant and I’m doing steps the AA way so helps me get familiar with the Big Book too. Only thing is it would be awesome to have a larger colour variety choice for app settings. Some blues/purples etc would be great!! Otherwise thank you for making this app.
Pivotal!
I use this app everyday. It has been so important in my sobriety. I’ve got all my sober friends using it too. A must have! Thank you to the team!
Sad
What had happened to the daily reflections updating
Sobriety Tools in one handy spot
I’ve used this App almost on a daily basis for over 5 years. I travel a lot so it’s handy to have some simple tools so accessible without the weight of books etc. wouldn’t be without it.
Amazing tool
Has been an important part of my recovery
Sobriety Date Bug
My sobriety date is failing to update automatically. I have to go in and change it and then change it back to get actual sobriety time. Can you fix this please
Laurie
An excellent way to increase awareness of both positive and negative thought patterns. Also, includes daily readings and specific prayers to help along the journey of sobriety.
👍
is the perfect app to start my mornings. Finish my evenings and keep my sponsor happy..
