It’s a good reminder to stay sober and the journal prompts really get you thinking

wouldn’t recommend if your addiction is gambling.. (I understand this is a free app and you need revenue, but opening a “sobriety” app to a gambling ad is insane.)
Used to be better
This was my favorite tracker app, but every update makes it worse.
Most Usefull parts now paywalled
I honestly liked this. Which sucks because the parts of it I actually used, the widget is now locked behind a paywall. It’s literally the only part of it I needed and used. Didn’t care for the “motivation” quotes. Never used the journal. Absolutely no need and kind of messed up to put its best features behind a subscription, especially if the entire point of the app is to help people reach sobriety. Oh well. It was nice while it lasted.
Oh my god, the ads.
The amount of ads the Sober Time app has makes me want to go back to drinking.

I have used this app for years and sometimes I would have to watch the seconds go by just to come out of my cravings this app is amazing and reminds me how good I am doing and encourages me too keep going !!!

Was a great app, sadly they made widgets a premium feature after everyone praised them for not DOING THAT.

The app helped me overcome an addiction. But the free version is pushing gambling adds 😂 I personally don’t have a gambling problem but can’t imagine people who are struggling

This is a good app but the adverts are for gambling. An app that is designed to deal with addictions shouldn’t have gambling ads. Seems like a major disconnect!

I love this app. I check it first thing in the morning to keep me motivated and to understand where I'm at in my sobriety. I enjoy the forums and also the updates on where my body and brain are at

Eigentlich super, aber..
…aber die Motivationsanregungen sind mehr als fraglich und sehr unprofessionell! Sätze wie „Was sind Ihre Hauptcharakterfehler?“ sind nicht gerade hilfreich!!! An alle Nutzer: Bitte nehmt solche Sätze nicht ernst und sucht euch, wenn nötig, richtige Hilfe!
Horrible ads
The ads are full screen and take a minute or two to complete. Very intrusive. Otherwise the app has solid features.
Best Sobriety Tracker
I’ve tried so many. This one is the best!! I especially love the updates with all the health progress information. This encourages me to keep going!
Used to be good
They put the widget behind a paywall and there are ads every few clicks. I’d gladly pay like $10 one time, but there’s no way I’m paying $30 a year for widget access.
It does help.
I downloaded the app to hep me keep track of the days I don’t drink. I didn’t have a drinking problem I just wanted to practice abstaining from drinks for an extended period of time (90 days). The stats and visuals in the app were a big motivator to keep going. Recommend.

I thought this app was great and I really enjoyed being able to track my sober days until I woke up this morning and all of a sudden I have to pay to have a widget. I can no longer see my sober days on my home screen and now they want me to pay $30 a year or five dollars a month. Doesn’t seem right when we’re all just trying to be sober here and they are worried about money.

I think this is a good app. I am however disappointed by the inappropriate adverts on the free version. Gambling sites etc. You’re providing support to addicts, whilst promoting alternative addictions.

Great app
So I want to say great app. But I wonder why it only goes to 5 years? Some may want to continue tracking with this app. It simplistic and not overly complicated. Will you all be adding more years for those that like to track everything?
Ads are obnoxious and inappropriate
The app itself does what it says, however the ads are completely obnoxious. You can’t finish one task without a full screen, unstoppable ad, which most of the time is a gambling app )not very appropriate for those dealing with addiction issues. Unfortunately it was a quick delete for me.

Gambling pop ups!
I realise to make free apps work you need some advertising but the gambling pop up ads on this app are horrible and relentless. Gambling and alcoholism go hand in hand. I don’t gamble and won’t gamble but for people who do it’s very dangerous to advertise on here. For me I just can’t be doing with it. I just wanted a nice app to monitor my drinking. I will stick with dry January and delete this.

Has potential too many ads
The free version as great upon set up. The counter and financial savings feature is great. Then the ads start… every time you touch the screen you get an ad. So annoying. I appreciate free apps needs some Ads but this is over kill and a total turn off.

its good, and functional, but ads? there are ads littered inside this app... seriously,, marketing off of real peoples struggles and addictions forcing them to watch an ad when they just want help and to better themselves bro. thats so disappointing.

I realized that the counter wasn't timing when for three days it said 18 hours. Slightly demotivating.
