Incredible dinners & delivery!
5 stars! I wasn’t expecting such a delicious, balanced dinner and it’s delivered weekly in a great way- as if my safe, fresh entrees on frozen packaging had its own chauffeur! Thanks and look forward to learning more after these weeks.
Raw meat - poor customer support
I reported that the meat in my meals arrived raw, which is a serious problem. Instead of addressing the safety concern, the agent kept insisting I name the exact dish. I ordered three different meals, and two of them had raw meat. It’s unreasonable to expect me to remember the exact names while dealing with a food safety issue.
Box Size Picking Meals
I am not sure if this is my problem but there’s one week I wanted to change my box size from 21 to 15 meals. So I clicked “Change Box Size” and selected 15. Then I went to “Change Meals” and pressed “Deselect Meals.” I started selecting my meals. I selected 15 but it won’t let me continue. It keeps telling me I need to select 6 more. I found a trick where you have pre selected meals and you deselect one by one while selecting what you want. It’s a little frustrating and time consuming. I don’t know if that’s just my problem or an app glitch. Other than that, the app is easy to use and I like the pictures.
Worst customer service
Factor has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I attempted to chat with team members multiple times today, there would be 5+ minutes between replies, then eventually they start looking into your issue and just stop talking altogether. 2 stars because the meals are actually pretty good. As long as you never have to get an issue resolved with them you probably won’t have a complaint.

Love it, but looking at the meals and their descriptions post delivery would be nice!!
Yummy food, love the options and the ease of just microwaving dinner while the rest of my family does hello fresh. But I chose this company for the options in macros bc i'm into the gym and need the ease, however after you order and get the shipment you can't look at the meals and their descriptions in the app after it goes to the rating sections and your next box is shipping. I have a few extra this week and keeping next weeks but plan to order less the following, but i also plan to begin tracking again this week and can't look at the meals descriptions anymore.
So frustrating
It’s really frustrating that my cart doesn’t update correctly and I have to constantly re-add my selections. It keeps resetting to the meals that were automatically placed in my cart.
Decent food Hard to Cancel
Really disappointing. I used to think this was a great service, but trying to cancel has been a nightmare. The cancellation links in both the app and website go to an error page, and the 800 number hangs up. That leaves customers stuck with no working way to cancel. This is not a glitch as it has been this way for more that a week. Making cancellation this hard feels unacceptable. I finally was able to cancel by using the chat function. Well maybe because I have to wait 24 hours for the confirmation email.
Healthy. Time-saving. Tasty.
Factor has been such a time saver and honestly a lifesaver! With my living situation and pace of life right now, I don’t have the time to cook. I love that their meals are balanced with quite a few being protein-focused to help me hit my goal. Another thing I love is that Factor doesn’t use seed oils and that gives me great peace of mind. These meals have also helped me lose weight as they help with portion control. Most of the meals are very tasty—I’m a bit pickier than other people maybe. haha However I’ve really enjoyed experiencing new flavours with their meals, and the convenience and time savings has been huge. Thanks Factor!
Bad faith app. Not to be trusted.
Placed order on its own without my knowledge, when the final order was not placed from my side. Send a box on their own with no communication that an order is placed and they are charging me on it. No returns on such orders as well. Total bad faith and bad communications with fine prints in terms and conditions .

Love Factor but the App is Trash
Seriously… when you apply a coupon/offer, it alters your subscription (it went from 8 meals to 12). When you manage to pick your meals using filtering (like saying no fish), it removes what’s already in your cart. When I finally managed to pick this week’s meals, upon review, there were 8 random meals in my cart that I never clicked on. The app had promise, but between pop up reminders and various widgets you have to dismiss or click past, the best Factor experience is on an actual computer.
Needs Improvement
I buy their meals and I like them generally. There is a nice sorting function that allows you to sort meals by various things like protein content, carbs, calories, type of protein, etc., with one glaring exception: fat grams. Without it, I have to hunt and peck through each of the nutritional summaries. Very laborious. I'm not sure why they don't have it. I can't be the only person who wants to eat low fat.

Eten bevalt enorm, in de app makkelijk je maaltijden te kiezen wat je wekelijks wilt ontvangen. Zeer goed eten boor een goede prijs. Keep up the good work 🙏🏽
They steal money from your account.
I canceled on time, even so they sent a box of food that I DON’T LIKE and they charged me for it. They’re disgusting. Thieves .

The food is nice. It will be ready in 3-4min with high quality. It’s really delicious. However, the app itself needs some improvements in terms of notifications. It would be nice to get notifications when its time for payment, delivery and a reminder to select mext weeks menu
Low protein
This must be made with a overweight and lazy person in mind, as someone who requires 2800 calories a day 185g of routine and 250g of carbs this will not in any reasonable way support my diet, I would have to eat almost 6 a day just to support my training diet, and the downside is you can’t really review the meals until you make a account, this hurt😔
Bland after a while
They started out okay, saved me time, seemed like good selection. But after a while if you don’t pay for other types of meals they all start tasting the same. Meant to cancel my account but paused it and they shipped me one more box of 8 meals for over $120 and all 8 of the selected options they sent had peppers. If you love peppers, this is a good service for you. But jeeze, I get thats a cheap vegetable but put a little more effort in your algorithm if you forget to select your meals. There are some selections to pay an extra $5-15 for a single meal to make it better but at that rate may as well just order take out. Good for a few months, then you’ll get bored.
Scammy behavior
1. You get charged on Friday morning without a reminder. 2. You can’t cancel, even if 5mins after. 3. You can’t contact them because they close on Friday and Saturday. 4. You can’t message them anywhere except Instagram and Facebook and they never reply.
They took my money but did not deliver my food!
Week 2- still no food and they don’t know how to credit my card! They want me to call my credit card and ask them for a refund!!!!!
Great taste, would love more sustainable practices
I’ve had a week of factor meals and love them! Super convenient and tasty, and I like being able to see the nutrition info and find something that meets my needs. And customer support was super responsive when I had a question. The only thing is I hate being responsible for all this plastic waste, even if it is recyclable. I would love a couple improvements on the sustainability side of things: - no plastic packaging - lower cal veggie options (I usually go for meat bc they are the only calorie conscious choices) - organic / sustainably sourced options I will keep ordering from them for now but will probably keep looking around for alternatives.
Disappointed
Very disappointed… I was home and the delivery guy claimed I was not, meaning I was charged but did not get my food.
Initial review
Not over impressed so far with this food delivery subscription. 1) I am unable to have my box delivered to my own home address and can only have it delivered to a family member because the system won’t accept my postal code. 2) they have dietary options for people with allergies or food preferences which is great. however they are creating meals with the classic assumption that anyone who can’t eat dairy or eats vegetarian meals only like spicy foods. They don’t have any of these options that aren’t spicy. 3) this ties in with number 2, every protein plus meal I looked at had some form of dairy in it. These meals were the reason I signed up for it in the first place however now I won’t be able to enjoy these options. I will update my review after I have tried the boxes I can eat. The only good thing I can say about this subscription so far is that they have outstanding customer service.

Vanwege ziekte en operaties had ik geen energie om boodschappen te doen en dankzij Factor heb ik altijd gezond en vers eten kunnen eten dat erg lekker is! Bedankt Factor

Of course the form to submit issues with your delivery is broken. So slimy of them.
Goed eten!
Na een operatie moest ik me ontzien. In de Gezondgids las ik een test van maaltijdbedrijven en vanwege diabetes 2 koos ik voor jullie. De ketovariant past mij goed; is heel geschikt bij koolhydraatarm eten! Nu begin ik mijn zelfstandigheid terug te krijgen dus ga ik afbouwen. De meeste maaltijden zijn prima. Vlees is smakelijk bereid. Wel zou ik meer en ook andere groenten willen eten! Sperziebonen zijn vaak wat rubberachtig. Ik mis prei, ui, wortel en peultjes etc en wat vaker peulvruchten… Bezorging is prima.
App Rarely Works
Every time I try to use the app the contents will either not load or I can’t even sign in. This is very frustrating. The app should also notify you to verify your box before shipping, or don’t ship it.
Never order juice and make sure you don’t need customer support
Lost money on this, each time I ordered juices they were always past their due date (by like 2 weeks or more) and I gave proof and also it did not look ok to drink. I was told I would get a credit for portion of it (not even the full thing lol) that I never got after reaching out by all means. I ended up unsubscribing. A year later I’m back but will never touch those drinks again in my life. Lost too much money (it’s like 35$ lol) and time for nothing. In the app you have no proof or traces of customer support, no place where credit should appear either because you can forget about a refund.

App language issue
Hello, the app language is changing. I chose English at first, but the next day, when I opened the app, I found it to be Dutch. There is no longer an option to change the language. I have removed and reinstalled the app to choose English again, but the next day, it's Dutch again. Please help me fix this issue.
Goede maaltijden
Maaltijden zijn erg lekker, smaak is perfect en geen omkijken naar de bezorging. Toevallig deze week aan kunnen pakken, week ervoor prima op afgesproken plek geplaatst.

But that’s it. Couldn’t log in. Doesn’t accept changes. The chat is self serving, and other than taking your order it’s like the waiter who gets lost after doing so. The only thing that did work was it took my money and delivered food.

Na mijn accident was koken wat moeilijk, dit is de beste oplossing, nu eet ik toch nog gezond en zeer lekker!
Good meals poor customer service
Meals are consistently good and there is increased variety. But trying to get support when a box is not delivered is almost impossible. Chat and parcel track functions on the app are buggy at best, don’t resolve the issues and you can’t get anyone on the phone after a certain hour. Please put less money on ads and more money on servicing your existing customers.
Bestellen altijd gedoe
Eten is vaak lekker. Vervelend vind ik dat je altijd automatisch doorgepland krijgt. Mijn weken zijn steeds anders. Laat me liever zelf bepalen wanneer ik bestel. Ik zit nu te vaak met een automatische levering terwijl mijn koelkast nog volstaat. Is voor mij een reden om in z’n geheel te stoppen.

I canceled my subscription through the app , I did it multiple times to make sure I did it correctly. I was still delivered a box, and not refunded, food was great, delicious and great portions, customer service is awful
Begin is leuk
Het begin is leuk. Maar na verloop van tijd raak je uitgekeken op t menu dat weinig variatie bevat. Ook de bezorging is niet erg flexibel. Slechts keuze uit zondag of maandag overdag.

Kleine verbeterpunten
In essentie zijn de maaltijden niet slecht, alleen wel een tikkie smaakloos al je het mij vraagt. Ik zie het als eten in een vliegtuig: het zal kwalitatief allemaal wel in orde zijn, alleen mist er toch specerijen en kruiden. Het gebruik daarvan mag wel wat meer, ook vooral in het gedeelte met groenten. De verpakking zou ik het liefst in een ongebleekt karton zien, i.p.v. de plastic verpakking die er nu omheen zit. Dat zou zowel een betere uitstraling bieden en het probleem van microplastics oplossen. Last but not least, variatie in gerechten mag wel echt een stuk groter, en daarnaast zou een volwaardige maaltijd het soms ook goed doen. Nu zie ik sommige wereldgerechten die omwille van voedingswaarden worden gekort, is wel jammer.
