Awesome app
I absolutely love this app besides two things. Gapless playing does not work and local network access will not work. If these two issues can be fixed this is definitely my top subsonic player app!
Always crash while playing
What a pity that the latest version app always crash while playing. And the choosing original version (no transcoding while playing at Wi-Fi) didn’t work at all. Still transcode to mp3 version.

Great app just missing CarPlay
This is by far the best app for Navidrome. The design is great, Tuned In is awesome, and Favorites is great. The only thing missing is CarPlay support. I have hour weekday drives, so that’s when I listen to most of my music.
Great! But…
Since the last update token based log in does not work anymore, so i can‘t use this app with my nextcloud set up anymore :(
Works great except for scrobbling
I can listen an download music perfectly fine however the app doesn’t seem to scribble when I use it. Scrobbling works on the navidrome web app though
iOS App Permissions
Hey could you add a little button or a way to manually iOS app permissions for accessing Local Networks? I never got the prompt on this phone, and it’s not under Local Network settings. Loving the app otherwise!
Update nicht mehr nutzbar für mich, Sleep-Timer weg
Ich habe die App fast täglich genutzt auch, um Hörbücher zum Einschlafen zu hören. In der neusten Version wurde das Menü aufgeräumt und der Sleep-Timer ist weg… ist jetzt unbrauchbar für mich!
Great app, small bug
Hello, I have noticed a small bug which bothers me a bit. When songs exceed 1 hour, the hours will not be displayed and at, say, time 1:07:31 it'll display 7:31. So at those times I'm not quite sure what timestamp I'm actually at (some of my compilation songs reach 3 hours). It would be great if this were fixed, otherwise flawless app for iOS!
Great UI, bad playback
The UI is amazing, but it fails to properly load songs and results in playback stopping very often, requiring manual intervention. If this were not the case, however, I would prefer this app to all others I have tried

I have found SubStreamer to be the app with the best combination of features, usability, and stability. I tried a lot of apps, including some that are still being developed, but this one was the only one that wor my rd consistently and could donate all the things. I wanted. Good wotk!

I like that shared playlists are visible for other users as well Only request would be to make the UI show more album art like in the main screen (a lot of undyed space there) or the album/artist views (only shows rows)
Eigentlich ganz gut aber buggy
Nach dem ersten Start funktioniert alles. Nach dem zweiten starten duplizieren sich die Menüs und machen das Programm unbenutzbar.

This is the best app for navidrome / subsonic that I’ve used on iOS. It has great UX and is very functional. It’s awesome to be able to have this same experience on Android too with this app. I like that the recent full rewrite is using react native / expo - that makes the cross platform experience much easier and better! Thank you for this app!

Best Navidrome Client for iOS
Best app by far for Navidrome clients I’ve found for iOS. There’s are some minor tweaks that could be made that would make user experience better. 1.) When you are playing a song with the album cover pulled up with play/fast forward options, when you go to pull down the menu to see the song list behind it, you have to grab from the top of the screen or else it doesn’t pull down and minimize. This is a very minor thing but is quite annoying especially I would imagine so if you have a bigger phone as you have to reach super far to swipe down from the top to minimize it to see your music again. I would say this is the lowest having fruit to immediately improve user experience. 2.) On the side bar menu, there is no option for “songs” to just see all songs in your library. You can only view by album or artist. It would be nice to pull up all songs from A-Z and pick from there a song to play vs drilling into an artist or album to play one. 3.) In offline mode, albums and songs are separated. It would be nice to just see all of your downloaded music with filters to see al download songs, all downloaded artists and all downloaded albums. Basically if you downloaded an album, those songs won’t appear under the songs section. It should all just pool into one bucket of “downloaded music” with filters for artists, albums or just see all downloaded songs. If these improvements were made alone this app would be near perfect with such a better daily user experience. Keep up the great work this project is awesome!!! 👏🏼👏🏼
Trouble playing large files (10MB+)
Songs with large file sizes don’t play unless you pause first and then play. Other subsonic apps don’t seem to have this issue and start playback instantly.
No Folders
Great app, but sadly folder view shows just a list of titles :F Guess that’s a bug? Synchronising with a SubSonic Server and works good.

Great app, wish I found it sooner. Only feature I’m missing is an equalizer. Love the automatic offline mode and Wikipedia snippets, keep up the good work!

If Substreamer had CarPlay support, it would knock it out of the park!! It is great that cached files are separate from downloaded files allowing you to delete cache am still retain downloaded items on phone.
Amazing UI With No Functionality
So I went through all the apps that had Subsonic streaming capability. And THIS is the one I wanted to use the most because the UI looks amazing and better than any other. It’s very organized and had some neat customizations. I think it’s far and wide the best interface. The drawback? It doesn’t work. It synced with Astiga. It sees everything flawlessly it just doesn’t play music. I adjusted all the settings. I cleared the cache. I redownloaded. It simply won’t play music for me. And unfortunately no matter how pretty your app is, if it can’t play music, you’re in trouble. Astiga shows that the app attempted to play just no music and the progress bar never moves. But man if the developer can put some love on this and make it function…this is the one. I put two stars on it just for the sake of hope.

Great experience!
I just recently got into self-hosting my collection and I needed an app to replace the other streaming apps I was paying way too much for. The interface is intuitive. The only feature I wish it had was a way to automatically download favorite songs or just make a playlist since you can download playlists. Maybe that would be harder since playlists are created and saved on the server-side? Still, this app was the first one I tried and I have been loving it!
Not working
I have iPhone 5s it shows splash screen than it stop working and shows a white screen. Please fix this bug soon as possible.

The interface of this app is very intuitive, I like it very much, and hope to add support for Simplified Chinese in the future!
Random crashes
When playing a song, I would get random crashes. Enough that I stopped using this app
Doesn’t have song list
Would be good to have song list view, not just album/artist Also for whatever reason.. even though the screenshot says it has radio support.. it doesn’t show on my phone connected to navidrome; and my navidrome server has a few radio stations added. Not sure why
Really well designed ui
This is probably the best designed ui for streaming your music media, I really how the layout is only thing would make it perfect is adding the option to move the order of the queue.

Beautiful and Almost Perfect
Amazing music streaming app with a slick UI. Love being able to sync playlists and find music on the fly. However ran into issues when I’m on a cellular connection. Switching between songs often causes the UI to freeze or very long buffer times. Half the time, the song won’t play until I skip around and come back. Using nginx reverse proxy with navidrome backend. Other subsonic clients don’t have any issues under the same conditions but I really love this client. I hope this can be fixed for perfect 5 stars.
Mixed feelings...
Works well as long as the app is in foreground and the phone stays on. But when putting the app in the background, it stops at the end of each track.
Doesn’t play music
Very annoying that when you start playing a playlist the songs aren’t playing until you restarted the app for like 10 times and try again… It could be such a great app but with this bug it’s unusable. Latest iOS 15.6.1.
Finally! A navidrome streamer that kicks a**
Ok this is what I have been looking for. Two things stood out immediately: sleek design & IT JUST WORKS. No issues! I’ve had headaches with other self-hosted streaming apps… but this popped my library up instantly and out of the box it my genres sorted, similar artists, lyrics… you name it, it took my bad id3 tags and said “no worries, i got you”. If i could kiss this app i would.

Great app with great potential, but missing some easy and key features
The app has great features that alternatives lack such as being able to download an entire playlist into cache rather tgan having to download one somg at a time manually. With that said, it is missing a very simple and cruicial feature: being able to view all songs. We can view all artists, albums, but not songs. Being able to scroll through all songs is the easiest way to find songs to add to a playlist or just find what to play now. Please add!
Good, but has some bugs
The application is generally good. It has some nice offline features which I appreciate. But it doesn’t coexist well with built in iOS controls. For instance if I start a track and want to skip tracks from the Home Screen there are no options to do so. Next track from action center? Nope. As far as I can tell it will only play the next track of the app is left open. With just a couple feature it could be the star of the subsonic genre. That said it’s free so I guess you get what you pay for.
Songs cannot be buffered in real time
The song can only be heard after buffering.
Great player
After recently setting up my Navidrome server, I wanted something clean with more options than just using the browser. Really glad I found this one. It works beautifully. Thank you to the dev. I owe you a cup of coffee

Great app, a few small things I’d like to see eventually
This is a great app, in a space where it doesn’t seem like there are many that are frequently updated. The interface is slick and the configuration was intuitive to get it going. A few potential areas of improvement: 1. In every other music player in the world, the back button goes to the beginning of the track - unless you’re already there in which case it does go back a track. This doesn’t do that, so I have to go back and then forward if I want to restart a song. And if I’m on the first track of a playlist, it doesn’t work at all. 2. I’d be great technical playback details. Is it playing a FLAC file? Is it an MP3? AAC? Plexamp has this and I really appreciate seeing it. 3. There’s no way to clear the queue. Just replace it. This has the effect of the iOS “playback controls” always being on my Lock Screen no matter what until I kill the app manually. Overall though, a great start and I hope to see continued development. Would be even better if it were open sourced :)
Seems nice, but can’t play my songs
I can connect to my server and can see all of my songs. When I select them, it goes to playing menu but the songs never start. Would be great if you could fix this. I tried another subsonic app and could make it work, so the problem is not my server.
Does what it says...
Although I'm having a major issue. If I tap the Radio tab, the app just freezes and I have to restart, will give higher score if fixed. Also it would be great to be able to skip to different folders or albums by letter, instead of just continuously swiping downward. Apple Music has something like that.
