Slow and buggy
While the UI is promising, I’m experiencing significant performance issues. Playback is slow to start, and metadata fetching takes too long. Despite having my entire library meticulously tagged via MusicBrainz, the app incorrectly groups 90% of my music under the '#' category. The official Jellyfin app handles the same library perfectly, so the issue seems specific to this player's parser.

Updated review: Yay! The downloaded files randomly not working is FIXED! THANK YOU! Just 2 more fixes needed: 1. I know it’s not your fault, but the headphone volume is WAY TOO LOUD. Like, I’m going to ruin my hearing loud. It’s an iOS system problem. Adding a volume setting that reduces volume beyond Apple audio APIs would be great. 2. The tab that lists the songs you downloaded should also act as a playlist or song player, so you can play the songs you *know* are downloaded if you can’t reach your home network. Otherwise it seems you have to keep looking at the list of downloaded songs and then go to the Music tab and search for each song independently to play them. That part doesn’t seem well thought out, unless I’m missing something? Thanks for your hard work!
Offline music mode could be better
The player is overall rather basic. It works also with high fidelity FLAC files which is pretty neat. The offline mode could be better. If the phone is offline the app still shows all albums, so you need to search for the albums that were downloaded to play them. There is a view with all downloaded tracks, but you cannot start to play them from that view.

I really like this app. Native Jellyfin sadly is for music unusable. At least on my older iPhone 13 Pro. The newest update brought lyrics support into the app. And much nicer compared to the native app. Let me know how I can support you. This app is just perfect. One downside ist that startup of the app is a bit slow on my iPhone. Please let me know how I can support you

Any way to have Album Artists instead of Artists?
Great app, but…
The “artists” tab lists actual track artists, not album artists - rendering the whole thing basically useless for my large library of albums. I’d love to contribute myself and add a separate view for that, but I’m afraid I’m not much of a TypeScript guy. :( I’ll keep watching the repo for changes. You’re doing amazing work.

Can not use in private network
Application refuses to connect to private server on local network with self-signed certificates or certificates signed for hostname, but connection is performed to IP address. I do not want to expose anything directly to internet and I connect to my network with VPN. And it does not make sense for me to use some DNS names, I access my local resources by IP

Awesome but….
Awesome app with so many features and well organised. Lack of CarPlay support is a dealbreaker though. I’d happily pay for that.
Really nice except for login errors
Hey, really nice app! Thank you! Free, and no user tracking. Very polished app. Great tab layout. Great settings & descriptions. The only problem so far was the initial connecting. When connecting to your server, if you use "https://" instead of "http://" you get an unrecoverable error and you have to kill the app & restart (no Back button). Likewise, if you forget your port number. Suggestion: on the Connect to Server page, have the descriptive text have a few examples of connection strings, including a local server with default port, to jog our memories! Thanks.

I was trying to log into my jellyfin account using both the IP and the jellyfin.local method and each time i was stuck in a loading screen

Works nicely but pause/resume is flawed
If, when playing music in the background (reading news in another app for example) another audio stream start to play, then Fintunes pauses, as it should. However it seems to be impossible to resume from this condition. The song that was playing previously is still shown with the || pause button, but the button does not resume playback.

Polished interface
Great looking app with polished interface. One more star away if it has lyrics plug-in, works with CarPlay and connects Google Cast (currently only AirPlay enabled)
Playback is spotty
Sometimes playback skips and each song repeats instead of going to the next even though loop is turned off. It was working fine a few weeks ago.

这是我目前见到jellyfin最好的音乐播放器了，感谢作者大大，但是体验下来还有有一点小问题，喜望能给到作者有用的建议，让大家用上更完美的软件。 问题1: 搜索界面搜索结果显示不完整，每条记录下面的专辑和演唱者名字只显示上面一半，可能没做好屏幕适配？ 问题2: 目前看来文件体积太大的dsf格式音乐无法播放，可能是适配问题，可能是网络问题，希望可以在app设置转码播放，这样在网络不好的情况下也能欣赏自己的音乐，这个好像也是jellyfin本身的功能，可能需要适配一下

Great app with a few issues
Great app. With the latest update the playlists are now working for me! I wish you could view a list of ‘All Songs’ and ‘Genres’ like in the iTunes app, that would make this app perfect. Fintunes only shows albums & playlists at current & you cannot create playlists in the app which makes the feature a little impractical. Genres would be useful for on the fly listening. Otherwise this app is amazing, performs well, and looks amazing. Fits the iOS ui well and has a level of polish above most alternatives. Would be 5 stars if it had the genres & all songs features but these are a small gripe.
