Scheduled arm & disarm would be nice
We are in a different time zone to the property connected to the alarm system. Sometimes we need to disarm the system to allow someone in for maintenance & repairs. This is often required at a time when we are still asleep on the other side of the world. An option to schedule arm and disarm events would be wonderful.
App has a new bug which logs you out
App keeps logging you out intermittently. Reporting to the team 3 times hasn’t resulted in a fix despite them saying the would resolve it 3 months ago. I haven’t had a reply for the two subsequent emails. Major flaw if you need to hit the panic alert. Unfortunately, very bad customer service for a critical service.
Ultimate convenience
A convenient and simple way to operate your alarm. Easy to give house guests access by adding them to the app. Can’t think of anything missing.
Lagging is an issue
It will show on my phone alarm is NOT activated, meanwhile it is, when I open door alarm goes off. Diff profiles do not sync you. I constantly have guests so it is an issue
Limited features
Works as advertised for the most part. Allows remote operation of the system fairly easily. But a few quirks - It randomly logs you out and then have to login. When trying to quickly turn off the alarm before going into the house this is majorly annoying. And it has no automation features and no ability to hook up to home automation solutions like HomeKit or Home Assistant. This makes the usage much less useful since it doesn’t do much more than a physical remote. Yes it is useful for example to let the pool guy in when we are not home but having support for automation would make it much simpler than it is now like when the pool guy rings my camera doorbell I can automate the disable of certain beams so they can work without triggering.

App keeps logging out
The app works well when you are logged in. But it randomly logs you out which is not great on an app that is security related. I’m on the latest iOS 16.6 and still get logged out randomly
Good but could be great
This app is good and does what it is supposed to do. It could, however, be great if it allowed users to organize zones better e.g. being able to hide zones that are “Not in use” etc.
Key features missing
The app works well, but 1) You can’t view/group/sort zones by area 2) you can’t hide disabled zones. I appeal to the dev team to fix this
Excellent For Paradox Alarm
Highly recommended, easy setup and just works. The combination of Wi-Fi and 3g fall over that is included in your annual subscription works flawlessly. Do you can access your alarm even during load shedding via the app. Ability to add your own users without having to add users on the panel is very useful to give people temporary or timed access to the system. Well done to the Olarm team.
Game changing
I got Olarm installed on my existing security system and I have far more peace of mind when I go out now. No more driving back home to check if the alarm is on, no more wondering which beam was triggered, now I can bypass a faulty beam from anywhere with internet…I don’t even need to get out of bed to activate the stay alarm! Just awesome!
Excellent app for Paradox alarm
I have been using Olarm for just over 1 year. Absolutely brilliant, responsive app with some unique features. I can access my alarm system from my iPhone and it is so easy when people come to visit. I give them temporary access to the app and I don’t have to worry about loosing remotes or batteries dying in the remotes. Managing my alarm is now really easy. Great job.
Great Alarm Control!
Does everything you expect. Activates via phone, bypasses, event log. Only issue is the photos of the zones: they are not storing correctly & I can't clear the problem ones. I also would like to see a clearer image of that zone image instead of the faded background; and if there's a way to sync the photos between users or even the iCloud storage to sync between the same user on multiple devices.
