The best solution to walks alone
I (thankfully) have never had to use parachute in an emergency situation but I live in London and commute to and from on my own and as anyone knows, there’s always times you feel uneasy when walking home or times someone approaches you and you’re unsure of their intentions. I love having the app nearby and open so if I’m even slightly unsure something is arising I can immediately gain attention of my emergency contacts. For £5 a year I think this app is a no brainier for anyone.
Nice app - but zero customer support
I wanted to ask them a few questions about family membership - as their website is not clear about how it works. I’ve tried contacting the company via email but no response. I even signed up as a member just so I could contact them. Got a different email address, but again no response after 5 days. Tried calling them but that also doesn’t seem to get you in touch with a human.
Fantastic app - but why 2 years with no updates?
As the title implies - 2 years is literally the beginning of GPT 3.5 up until today, where we have Apple Intelligence (ChatGPT on-device), MCP servers, Agent orchestration and other groundbreaking technology developments. How do I know this app even still works? Would strongly suggest updates to at least monthly in order to show the app is in constant development. Or monthly training challenges? I’d really Appreciate that.
No customer support
App seems good however I had an issue trying to add my partner’s number to which I contacted both Parachute’s support emails several times over and they never responded. I have an email tracker to confirm that the emails were received which confirmed so however they simply ignored all my repeated emails for what I would have thought was a simple technical issue.
Best and most reliable safety app
I feel much safer and empowered since I downloaded Parachute. I’ve tried a lot of different safety apps and Parachute is the best one and the only one that has worked reliably. I cannot recommend it enough, especially in such scary and uncertain times.
Costly
You should not have to pay to unlock features, this is about safety, you shouldn’t be focused on money.

Great idea but safety shouldnt have a price.
Said it all in the title.
Guarantees female safety when alone
Parachute makes me feel protected and safe when I am walking around London. In light of the tragic Sarah Everard story, I am sure this app will help many more women feeling unsafe at the moment.
You can’t test it
you can’t test it without using one of your three alerts lol, but of a scam really
Why no watch app??
Abselutely love this app would give 10 stars if it was able to activate from Apple watch come on devs it can be that difficult 😊😊
Lofty goals but poor documentation
Installed and configured then absolutely no guidance on what to do next. Pressed the screen to see what happens, triggering a call to ALL my emergency contacts with what seems like no way to stop it. Not ideal since I'd never run the app before. Would benefit from some on screen instructions after set up or a "first run" tutorial. Great concept, great idea, poor user guidance.
Amazing
I feel like everybody needs this app. I haven’t had to use it yet but I did however test it out and it worked amazingly. I feel a lot safer knowing I have this. Also the auto lock so if your phone gets snatched it carries on recording, absolutely amazing!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Note: If you run into any difficulty using this app don’t expect the app support team to help. I was having trouble familiarising myself with the full functions of the app & was dealt with in a extremely rude unhelpful manner so decided to give the app a 2/5 rating when I was prompted & because of this I received a totally uncalled for rude email followed by another being advised that my account was now permanently BANNED !!! Nice !?? Very unprofessional.
Must have app
This app is one of the most important apps on my phone, never deleting it😍
Amazing app
I’ve spent several hours trying to find an app which can live stream audio/video to a secure server to ensure that nothing can prevent the audio/video evidence from disappearing. Finally, here is the solution
So good
Quick and simple app to use thanks Murray
Best security app
Live tracking, precise, fast and simple
Every phone should have it
To date I have not been in a situation where I really needed this app, and that's a good thing, however since having it on my phone I have thought about using it a few times. I think this is a must have for every phone, you don't want to have to use it but when you do it may be the best thing I. The world.
