Extremely disappointed!!
Still waiting for a response/call from Nexar. This is becoming very ridiculous that I'm having to reach out every day with no response from this company. I have spoken to someone in a legal department explaining that this is the second time I have purchased your merchandise and it has been a problem since the beginning And Nexar never sent my replacements from my first camera. And now this second camera is defected. I have explained that I have reached out to you guys many times with no return response anymore. I will take this further if needed so. As well, I see that there was a data breach!!! I'm no longer happy with this company, not happy with your customer service not happy with the product!!!!!!!

Preview dash cam & Update firmware options block. Not a safe app to use especially if you are being watched by federal agents
Snap Camera into Mount
If using the NEXS1 with HD Smart Dash Camera Suction Mount, push camera firmly into USB-C port in mount. It will “pop” in. You will know when it happens. Hopefully, this information will prevent a new user from mistakenly thinking power cord and/or suction mount is broken.
Anderson
it’s not working properly it don’t be connected to the Internet sometimes and when I do connected to the Internet, it goes off
Issues with app
The app no longer saves full drives to my phone, which it used to do. To create a clip from a drive I have to be in the car, connected to the camera and it takes literally 2-3 minutes to create and save a 30-second clip. I’ve cleared my phone storage, checked all of my settings, and it seems like it should be saving videos but doesn’t. The most aggravating issue is with Groups - I get notifications when another driver in my group captures a clip, but the group never loads and I can never see the clips. This defeats the purpose of using the groups to keep tabs on your family while they’re driving. If something terrible happened to another group member, I would not know. I’ve gone through the AI support questions and nothing is ever resolved.
Works Good Now
This Nexar Pro worked great since I purchased it sometime back, the exact date is unknown. Now I can’t get the codes that were sent to work or get it to stay on. It turns on for approximately 3 seconds and shuts off. I don’t know what happened, but it works fine now. All I did was turn it back on in a different area and it is working good. It’s an awesome little dash cam.
Buggy app
The app is not good by any means, creating clips in the app is very frustrating. You should just be able to download the entire video instead of creating a clip. In addition, the clip takes ages to create and then you have to download it which takes forever as well. If you have wireless Apple CarPlay (or Android Auto assuming), good luck getting the app to work correctly with the dash cam.
Nexar saving footage
I took notice recently my dash cam won’t duplicate the footage I requested and save into my files.
For. Eh. Ver.
Why does it take SO freaking long to download a video? Why can’t I have more than one camera without having to “set it up” all over again. Time is precious. It’s time to upgrade the app. Everything else is an instant. Cloud storage is a joke if you have to sit for hours to download the video.
4 year old dash cam
The app stop working after six year of using it. Dash cam work but it won’t Bluetooth to my phone
Was great
I have a older camera and it appears that it isn’t supported anymore, not sure why just cause my cameras older it wont work all of a sudden
Poor navigation for customer service
There isn’t a way to stay on one customer support thread, so when the day ends and my problem still isn’t resolved (going on over a week now of the camera not working), I have to start a new chat with the bot to then talk to a person and let them know that I was already talking with a person about my issues yesterday. Also, I was scheduled to get a call to talk about the broken dash cam, but that never happened either.
Need more updates
Making a clip is incredibly difficult
One not working
Sergio from Nexar went out of his way to help me get my One back up and running. We worked through chat and a personal call from him to troubleshoot my One over several days.
Goes out a lot
This device goes out constantly, and I don’t understand. Just frustrated.
Doesn’t stay connected
It’s constantly needing to be reconnected. When it’s working, it’s great.
Great app, support and camera
Easy install for the camera and easy connection to the app. My #1 concern was how easy it would be to send a clip to someone. It’s very easy and customer support was super helpful. They answered my basic questions before and after my purchase.
NEXC2 can’t pull cabin video
I tried the new version of the app that allows you to flip to the rear camera when trimming. It is able to pull the main video but just says it can’t connect when it tries to flip to the rear, it’s like the functionality for rear pulling isn’t available.
Used to use this all the time
I got a new vehicle April of 2024 and haven’t gotten around to reinstalling the camera itself. I just tried logging in to my account and I can’t get it to send me the text code. What gives??!
Gold delivery inc
I’m using this product more than 15 years. They are very good product. Save me so many time with accident real time video GPS so very very good. I love to use this. Thank you this kind of product. We have it.
Worthless
Keeps disconnecting. Had to reconnect everytime. Video is decent. Can not read license olates especially in night videos. Just grab a different dash cam.
It’s an okay dashcam but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it.
Had the camera for 5-6 years but finally switched it out. The camera worked good, but the app was too slow sometimes or glitchy. Sometimes if you powered off your vehicle too, it wouldn’t save the video either to your phone right away. I’d prefer a dash cam that just records automatically and saves it without all the unnecessary app stuff.
Repeat Customer.
I purchased a Beam2 recently for the front facing feature and the cabin feature. I’m back for the rear view camera to make things safer behind the wheel. Customer service has been excellent via chat and get back to you rather quickly. I had a couple of questions today and Christian in the support department was professional and courteous. I feel I have made informed purchases for my safety. I recommend giving Nexar a try. The products are amazing and reliable and I love being able to check on my car when I’m not even in it!
Data security and surveillance
I reached out to Nexar about the reported Flock Safety partnership and what it means for customers like me. I bought this dash cam for my personal safety on the road — not to unknowingly participate in a surveillance network that could capture footage on or near my own property. When I contacted support, I received a generic AI response that clearly didn’t address anything I asked. That alone says a lot about how seriously Nexar takes its customers. Until there is full transparency on this partnership and a clear opt-out, I can’t recommend this product to anyone who values their privacy.
Useful
Last weekend I had a collision, the car in front of me cut into my line without looking, I used the app to send a report to my insurance on spot and with the evidence they prove the car before me is 100% responsible. Everyone need this dash cam!
Not happy with this unit
After a year it won’t connect to WiFi it won’t do anything and then it works again out of nowhere customer service is weak and not responsive to questions or complaints Iam now looking for a new better camera
Not iPhone friendly
Every time I switch vehicles I have to repeat the pair process and if you forget it won’t be linked to your phone. Good camera bad app
Bugged out
I hit add another camera trying to see to what would happen now no matter how many times I close the app I can't get to the home screen to view the actual camera I have I'm very upset I purchased this device
