Not impressed
I more than likely will not be renewing my subscription after my 6 month period. According to their own information, this app needs to be the only thing open for it to work properly. I’m a delivery driver who requires my delivery app and the navigation app to be open. I have had the recording stop more than once, because I needed these two other apps. Unless and until they can fix this, I will not be renewing. This app is not the only one required while traveling. And the other features aren’t really even necessary. I’ll just use my camera at least I know it won’t just stop recording.
Limited
I was looking for a replacement for my favorite dash cam app, which is no longer being developed. I tested this Driver app for a few days but I was disappointed with the limited features. The app doesn’t provide basic video editing options such as trimming clips, doesn’t support a motion sensor feature, and automatically breaks recordings into 3 or 5 minutes segments. In addition, video cannot be uploaded to iCloud Drive. These limitations made the app unsuitable for my needs, so I had to uninstall it.

Improper Recording Orientation
Seems incompatible with WAZE. With Driver running, iPhone held in portrait in order to bring WAZE to the screen, then landscape to mount in holder. Older vehicle w/o CarPlay so must show WAZE on screen while driving.
Works great—-when it works.
Been using this app a few years now and it’s always worked pretty well but recently you’ll not record and start driving only to see that the phone screen has blacked out and gone to sleep and that the app hasn’t been recording. This has been happening mostly since Feb 2026, so it must’ve been broken in an update or something. The only other issues I’ve had is using my phone to play music to my car with Bluetooth. Sometimes doing so freezes the app or stops the recording. Other times it’ll record but my music won’t play until I hit Next Song. Only happens with this app. I could live without the music working but the app randomly stopping recording with no notice or anything is dangerous. What if I have an accident only to find out there’s no dash cam footage because the app decided to stop working on me? Hopefully it gets fixed.

Clashes with CarPlay
This app is great, but it doesn’t work well with CarPlay when recording. It either jumps around sources or doesn’t play audio at all, like SirusXM. I hope it’s an easy fix.

発熱がすごい…(追記あり)
このアプリで録画中に音楽アプリやナビアプリを併用した場合、30〜40分ほどで「高温注意」の表示が出てiPhone本体が停まりしばらく使用できなくなるほど発熱します。 アプリの性質上、バッテリーの減りが激しいため充電しないわけにもいかず… なんとかもう少し低負荷にならないでしょうか…？ 2026年2月から報酬がそれまでの4分の1に下げられてしまったものの、メールアドレスを登録してアプリ内で録画しアップロードするだけで動画広告を見る必要もなくポイ活になるのはとてもありがたいです。 (追記)運営から2026年3月31日をもって運転録画時間単位の報酬モデルを終了するというメールが届きました。今後は新しい形での報酬が予定されているそうです。

I started using this app on a free IPhone XE as part of the beta testing program. I think I’ve seen every bug they’ve encountered and they fixed every single one. I do wish developers would reach out when you send them a hug report but they never have. Casey was great for support during testing but I guess he went away once testing was done because I haven’t heard a peep from him since.
Non functional login
Tried both Apple and email logins. Neither worked.
Super Useful
I love almost everything about this app but I noticed two distinct problems. When I’m going about 65 mph, the speedometer jumps up to about 85 for a second randomly. And on the website when you’re viewing the different events that occurred during your drive. The large table composed of things like hard acceleration, stop signs seen, and stop lights seen, etc. The table itself is very hard to move around on to view all of the information present. When you try to move horizontally the table always sends/ pushes you back somewhere else. Other than that, I really like this app.
Nice Camera, Overly Critical
I’ve been using this app for many years now, it used to be great. I like that track so much information and automatically uploads to the cloud, but I’ve been having issues lately. In January of this year, the app stopped uploading my trips with no explanation from the developer. Also, while my driving has remained the same over the years, my “driving score” has dropped precipitously in recent months for no apparent reason. I didn’t ask for an app that would judge my driving, I just wanted an app that would be a dash cam.

Listen, if you’re looking for THE best dashcam app in the store, this is it! I’ve been running this for about 2 years now and it’s definitely proved useful. I’ll be getting a new vehicle soon and you can best believe that I’ll continue to run this. Thank you developers for giving us such a useful app!

I got this app to record video while I work food delivery. Unfortunately it didn’t seem to record automatically. There isn’t a toggle to turn the camera on and off, so I would like that bug to be fixed.
A lot of functions not available, but good for viewing
You can upload the dashcam videos to the cloud site, but in real time while you’re recording the app won’t track things like forward collision warnings, pedestrians, or other things like the website claims it does.

App crashes doesn’t open. Doesn’t accept Apple log in. Therefore unable to provide a clear and accurate review because the app crashes on the first screen

Easy to use. Bit the “collision” and “sleep” alerts are way too sensitive even on the lowest setting.
Not being able to turn off cloud uploads is bad.
Everything else is near perfect for my use case.

On this update my dashcam is not working when im drivind my dashcam turn into a speedometer instead is there a way to fix this or should i cancel my subscription?
The best app ever!
I got into a car crash once and because I had this app installed I was able to proof that I was not at fault! I'm very thankful for this app! The customer support was great too, when I needed to get the clip which I didn't have anymore, they gave me a free premium for few days so that I can get the clip that I needed to send to my insurance! But, there is this one problem where the video would get corrupted often , so I wasn't able to the get the assurance that I needed while driving. If they fix that I would use the app again to record the interior, but in the meantime I will use the dash cam that I bought.
They want ALL your info
They disguise this data grab as “required” info to correctly paint a picture of your trip. Guess where the hard acceleration and braking data goes? Yeah, insurance companies. Delete this app immediately before they steal your ID.
Using on my pedal cycle
After trying 7 different dash cam apps this is my favourite. It seems the most reliable and has some features I really like. I have found it runs really well in the background with other apps such as podcasts and music running. I would give it 5 stars if it had the option to choose between wide and ultra wide camera. Currently it is locked to wide. For further UI polish it would be nice if we could clear the onboarding message on the Home Screen.
Bug found
When trying to switch to ultra wide camera and/or switching back- the app doesn’t record at all when pressing record. It’ll just go black with counter not working and just give up and say “trip was not recorded because trip was too short”.
Won’t record while app is minimized
Seems like a nice app overall but the entire reason I got the app was so I could use my device as a dash cam while also having a map up. If it can’t do that then it’s kind of useless to me.

Original review: It’s easy to open the app, place the phone on my magsafe mount in the center of my dash, press record, and go. I do it without thinking now. I love the fact that I can quickly delete uneventful trips, or set a schedule for deletion so it doesn’t overload my phone. I can also see stored videos online if needed for a truly modest subscription. I can choose HD if I want to capture small details like license plates, etc. I recently saved some video of a near miss so I know I can access an accident if needed. I’m able to review trips on my Mac—a nice convenience. I also used it with navigation and it worked fine. I’m on an iPhone 14, so I don’t have an option to record sound yet, but that’s not a feature I have to have. It beeps if it detects a possible hazard, and clearly identifies the objects in front of me by name—car, bus, truck, person. Frankly, I can’t believe this app is available for my phone. I can’t think of a single reason why I’d want to pay for an independent dashcam. This does the job effectively, with a device I already own. Great app.
Not connecting with device
Very difficult to use not connecting with my dash cam.
Works well
I have enjoyed using this for a few weeks. Pretty good except that the video is a bit of a post box slot, and worse if you use the rear view too. Recently it has started crashing within 5s of opening. Contacted the developer and they were very helpful. Working again now.
Unclear how to use this
Well the camera works fine but that is the only thing that happens when I open the app. I have no idea at all where I would find data or features… all it does is turn on the camera.

I wouldn’t give it too rate due to doesn’t work when app is closed, it still records your trip but not video it, also noticed it’s recording a loads of false trips, checked a few times and suppose to all other the place by my house, apparently gone through it and a loads of other houses lol,, but other than that it’s ok for small trips but app always needs to be open, also this app provide navigation

As a premium user and an uber driver, this app is a god send. I use my iPad as my main navigation Velcro’d to my dash over my 2019 Camry screen I don’t need, and have this hanging from my review mirror. I noticed immediately that I love the telemetry and instant access I get to the trips, not having to transfer from an actual cam. I also appreciate the extremely clear audio I get to have vs dedicated dash cams. However my beef with it is : 1. I wish I could manually control the resolution it records in including the refresh rate. The app team could utilize the on device storage (1TB on my iPhone 16 pro max) for full size footage files 4K recording at 60/120fps or 1080p at 120fps or higher…. and anything syncing to the cloud could be downsized, to help their end out of course which only is offered for HD atm. 2. Loop recording options! Almost all dash cams on the market offer loop recording. It would enable my phone to keep recording in its highest resolution possible and not eat up space. 3. I wish it could record in the background as well. As an uber driver I already notify through the uber app I am recording my ride for my safety, I don’t see why I couldn’t turn off the screen all together and let it record in the background. iOS restriction? Or better yet allow the use of other apps in the front and not stop the recording. 4. An advanced settings feature section for the more tech savvy! Here you could throw in a LABS section for features undergoing testing or whatnot, or just offer more options for customization. That’s about it! I used to have a VANTRUE N4 Pro 3 channel camera, however the summer heat got to it, I would love to see this app continue to improve as it’s become a huge help for me when I’m driving for Uber. No low light recording
The lack of recording in low light conditions makes the app entirely useless.

Awesome ambitions, but melts your phone. Also extend drives the camera fails to record for some reason.
Brilliant
My old dash cam was rubbish. It was a Wi-Fi with a rubbish app. I put up with it for too long. Thought I’d try an app until I got a new make of dash cam. Turns out this is unbelievable. A free app that is actually fantastic. Download it and see. UPDATE. Been using the app for awhile now. It’s still brilliant but over heats the phone after 1 hour of use. So it’s fantastic for short journeys only.

Video stops recording if you switch to navigation. Needs to stay active while using Maps, otherwise not very useful.
