Don’t believe what you read
I’ve tried many city build games and this one ranks very low. Nothing, and I mean nothing, happens when you are offline and very little happens when you are online. No resources collected unless you are actively playing and the “villagers” do nothing except drive around in there little cars. I’d give it less than 1 star if I could. Don’t waste your time with this one
It’s good but…
The game is quite good, but the prices of the buildings are way to expensive, they need to come down some…
Okay but don’t spend your money
It’s pretty fun but take your time. I spent some money for $1,250,000 and also like 60 diamonds or whatever it was, to get a head start and the price of extra land just increases pretty much proportional to how much money you make; so you won’t be any further ahead of you spend actual dollars on extra game-play cash/diamonds, or if you just play it out for free.
Way too many ads!
This game is pretty great like most of their “City Island” games but the amount of ads are insane! Have to clear 5 popup ads for other games in a row and about every 5-10 minutes it plays a full unskippable video ad with multiple steps to clear with no reward! Most games give a reward for watching a video ad.

Developer has abandoned
Could be a great game, but was built quickly and is exactly like their other games. They also stopped doing updates long ago, which you can see in the App Store. They’ve clearly abandoned the game; which would be fine if it were not still FULL of bugs/glitches.
Good Fun
It’s a good fun addictive game. I would like to suggest that when an upgrade is made to a Building etc. it changes the look of the Building so that we know an upgrade has been made, and visually the gameplay would be much better.
Meh
I was looking for a game to design a city and Ive heard good things but here my "real" person review. First of all, theres no 360 view, which I feel sets it back because a lot of city building games Ive played today had at least that. Second, you cannot reposition the houses as in they only face one direction. Which is hard when your trying to be creative, its kind of restrictive. I feel it you fixed these it would be so much better.

It’s awesome you can play it casually how you want to play it. Doesn’t bog you down with trying to spend money in the game. I think that the developers must like humor and not negativity to offer a game like this. Kudos .
Movement of buildings is to hard
In order to move a building you have to hold on to each building and move it independently instead just make an edit mode where all you have to do is click on the building and drag or move it. Also I can get past the poor graphics but why can’t I zoom in on the buildings. Zoom is still to far away needs a lot of work

This game was good but a few glitches.
Bogus
Once you get to about 700 citizens/employees, the game starts misreporting how many citizens and jobs there are. So you end up making extra businesses to account for the people then making more housing for the extra businesses. Meanwhile you mysteriously lose $3,000,000. But it’s a free game so i guess it doesn’t matter.
Ok Game
Ok so theres some things they need to fix like they should add ppl instead of only cars going around. The ppl should pay for rent, and on how do i stop something if i dont want to destroy it anymore? Also the advisor is not accurate! The lands are expensive too.
Fun Game!!!!!
Fun and easy to play. Unlike most other games, I love that I don’t have to wait days to collect money or points just to continue playing for 5 minutes. Developers and Team have done a great job with creating a fun game with really good graphics too. A+++++++++
Ads make me close out the whole app.
Facebook keeps popping an ad up and it won’t close. Love the game play. Very simple and can get addictive. But having to close out the entire app because a Facebook and won’t close is a bit annoying as it pops up every 2-3 minutes. Fix that, and I’ll give 5 stars

Frustrating ads
I played this game for about 1&1/2 hours. What could be a very fun game is just plain annoying with an ad for a different game popping up every 30 seconds to 1 minute. I'm deleting this one.
Pretty fun game, quick turnaround time for cash!
This game is pretty fun! I really enjoy that the waiting time for “money” is pretty short. I have 50% of my land filled and I’ve only dropped 1.99 on the game. I will say once you get about 500 people on the island, they start to not take jobs, so for example I have about 150 jobs available and about 900 residents without a job. So you have to keep building houses and apartments to bring additional people with no guarantee the will pick up jobs. I don’t mind it as much because I just play the game mindlessly throughout the day, but I could see that feature being really frustrating if you wanted to sit down and play for an hour or something.

Update. The game seems to be stuck. No matter what I do, the population and employee numbers wont budge. Disappointing to have to kick start the thing again. Haven't yet will probably delete instead. Please advise. Its a great little game, my biggest issue is the ads. Not that there are some, but the content of those Ads is most often rated 18+. The game is easy enough for a kid to play, But i wont let my kids play it just because of the darned ads.

The game itself is ok but when you are bombarded by ads constantly it's unplayable !! And always for Final Fantasy ! I can only watch it so many times and then I just turn it off !

Doesn’t work correctly
I had fun wasting time on this after I had surgery. It’s not too difficult. But now my employees won’t work at my commercial buildings. The advisor says I have 100 people without a job while I have several places with zero employees. The online help said to be sure you were upgrading other businesses and homes (which doesn’t make sense) but I’ve done that and it still isn’t working. I’m sad to have to stop playing this game as I still have some time to recover and I was enjoying building my little city.
Fun
Fun game and addicting. One issue I believe is that the longer you continue on the game and achieve different goals the same amount of prizes are the same and does not increase. But I guess that is how the app makes their money on purchases.

Sparing society game’s are amazing and they are free! So get it I love it and maybe you may like it too.
Wouldn’t recommend
I purchased over $100 of currencies. That was only in place for one game. When I started a new game, I started with what little currency anyone starts with. I would think that after spending that much, I would start a new game with what I bought, but no. Do they really expect people to spend that much every time you start a new game. Got nowhere with customer service. They kept telling me I much have reset my device, which I didn’t. Live and learn. I don’t plan on playing any more games from Sparkling Society. I wouldn’t recommend anyone purchase any currency.
Great game!
I really enjoy building stuff. This game mixes reality and real life. You get to buy land earn money and keep doing the same over and over again while earning diamonds that can help you get some pretty cool stuff! That is why I give this app 4 star rating!

Im loving this game. However, I would be much better if we had the option to store buildings after buying them, or be free to manoeuvre buildings at once instead of having to press so many buttons to move buildings individually. This would help a lot to replan the city.

This game was great, I just loved it until I got to level 20 and then you started to bombard me with ads for your other games. Constantly! Won’t play this game or any of your other games because of this. Really annoyed with you.
Got its flaws, but otherwise pretty good
Concept wise, it’s a good game. It’s fun. Not boring. Not super stressful. However, once you get low on money it’s REALLY hard to recover. As you get into higher levels things start to cost more but I personally haven’t got the money. So I recommend it but you gotta be smart about your money!!

I have been playing sparkling society for a long time and I have to say this is one of there best although I do have to say they have been saying there's going to be an update for months on the log in screen and it hasn't happened but overall I say it is very well done thumbs up
GREEDY!
This games is fun and very greedy, I have only been play about a week and it's so hard to buy land and the keys give out less and less diamonds to buy land. After about a week of playing, not much else to do but pray for keys and diamond. It's boring now😡😣😮😦😓😪😥😢😧.
It's pretty good I guess
It's a fun enough game there's nothing really bad about it. The concept is fun and you can grind out some hours worth of entertainment. It would be a nice touch if the buildings changed as you upgraded them. Maybe start with just the first style and as you make improvements, the other styles either become available or the improvements themselves change the shtyle. And if the cash would accumulate for more than just one cycle while the player is that'd be sweet.

Could be better
An addictive little game, but quite annoying. Collecting money is the annoying part because if you're not logged in it doesn't build up...say you get 12000 an hour, if you don't collect it you only get 12000 when you log in again. Very frustrating. Otherwise a dead on wee game

I have tried many many city games but this is the best one,you can create your city to your extent! And the best part about it is that it is a good balance of easy and hard
