Better than Edge or Chrome
Quite simply, the only browser I trust enough to use all the time.
Latest update does nothing.
Latest and greatest update not responding at all. Firefox will not open and will not let me delete app to do a reinstall. Hoping next “update” will fix this mess. Leaves old data on iphone and app store only says open. After trying to delete app and then restarting, app icon just keeps coming back on it’s own. Still won't open or do anything. Expected more out of Firefox. Even one star is too much for something that fails to work!
Triggers adblock banners... without blocking ads
I've been a firefox devotee for the past 10 years, when Chrome started eating all of my PC's memory. Still use it for everything. Unfortunately, that's been hindering my ability to access news sites, as they all use the same kind of program that "detects" adblock and prevents you from reading the site. Ads used to be blocked on these sites, but... now they're not, and I'm still being accused of not "supporting independent journalism" when I get blocked. This is obviously a bigger problem in that I should be able to access emergency info on my local news station without being blocked for how I browse, but it's still an issue I'm facing for using Firefox mobile. Hoping it'll be fixed soon.
Bookmarks
Mozilla is making using Firefox on iPad impractical and stupidly omit the bookmark feature. Will be using another browser from now on.
Keyword search is gone
The keyword search feature is gone, it's pretty much the #1 reason why I choose Firefox over others; why do you keep removing the feature? It's been once a year for 4 years now—— Other than that problem, Firefox is great: painless bookmark and tab syncing, and especially because of the keyword search feature, it's the main reason I use Firefox both here and desktop - a minor gripe I have is pull-to-refresh, I keep accidentally reloading pages, especially ones with small text input boxes, making me lose my whole text. I wish there was a way to disable pull-to-refresh, just the refresh button on the url bar is good enough for me
Much more secure than chrome
I got Firefox because I was nervous about how chrome tends to sell personal data for advertising. I thought the switch could be tricky or annoying, but transferring my bookmarks and accounts was a breeze. I basically have a perfectly functional browser with none of the personal security fears that come with browsers from big corporations.
Don't do this
This site will worry you sick with worthless messages and notifications about nothing of value, and I can't find how to effectively cancel it. Don't do this one.
I can’t activate the VPN
I go on the support but mine doesn’t have the VPN option and I’ve went in the settings there’s nothing there so can someone help me but mainly it’s good
Mozilla continues to fumble
Every year I reinstall Firefox and every year I’m left disappointed. Why include an adblocker that doesn’t block first party ads? Why advertise privacy and then not even present an option to disable telemetry (which is on by default). Why advertise privacy and then use google as the default search engine? Misallocated funds, poor management, and missing features always take me back to brave or librewolf. Insanity.
Please Fix Wallpaper
My miniMac always displayed the photo I chose and dark page backgrounds but now - after 2 days frustrating effort - I cannot restore the system as it was prior to this update. Please update your update with a fix!
Fix it.
The app keeps crashing. The tabs keep refreshing. Also, whenever a page refreshes, it messes with the browsing history by leaving duplicate entries in the page history. And pages keep being forced everywhere but where I last left them. Switching tabs and navigating pages is too slow. This is on Private Browsing, where there is not website data to delete.
Completely unusable. Sad that after all these years, I’m going to be forced back onto Chrome
Filling the browser with unwanted AI trash, and now ad-blockers that’s no one asked for is bad enough. But now it is physically impossible to use the browser. Tapping the address bar, or using tab on your keyboard, will quickly focus and then instantly unfocus the address bar. Since you can no longer put focus on the address bar, you can’t type a url. Which means you can’t…oh, I don’t know… BROWSE THE INTERNET. Now what kind of insane person would expect a web browser to browse the web? Couldn’t be me.
Only non-google browser option
With what limited technical knowledge of app development and extensive research I’ve done on the topic, Firefox is the only non-chromium(or rather has the least amount of Google directed telemetry inclusions)based browser.
Used for years
Very private & safe. Blocks ads. Not intrusive. Mine is paired with Duck Duck Go search engine which makes it even better

It’s getting better all the time
I just have two notices that prevent me from giving it 5 stars, otherwise I totally would. First thing, sometimes when I sent a tab from other device to my phone, and later when I touch the notification, it just opens the browser and not the page it was supposed to. And you can’t go back to it, since the notification is already gone. This is especially problematic when you send a tab let’s say from your PC to use later when you’re out, and then step away from it, and this happens. Kinda frustrating. Second thing, you already implemented switching between tabs with swiping left or right on the address bar and that’s great. However, it would be nice to implement to show all tabs when swiping up on the address bar, just like on Safari. It’s incredibly useful for me, and I would really appreciate it if you added that functionality as well. Thank you, I love this browser.
Not as good as before
Firefox used to be my go to browser but lately it's been a mess. The search suggestions have somehow become way worse than before and irrelevant sites are being suggested or the suggestions will pop up and when I go to click the one I want it disappears or doesn't do anything when I click it. Also, the most frustrating thing has been the unbearable lag, especially the keyboard lag.
Phishing popup
I keep getting phishing pop ups every-time I open the app. When I close the app, reboot my phone and open Firefox, it keeps popping back up.
excellent
Ad blocking feature works extremely well and I am very happy with it, I recommend it to all of my friends
Missing basic features
It's 2026 and you still can't edit or rearrange shortcuts on the home screen. How is this app so bad? Are they working on it at all?
Good stuff
Please can you add Tutamail as an email option? Cheers.
One VERY annoying feature make me delete it
Firefox is a great search engine and all I use on my laptop however the app is frustrating & I deleted it. Anytime you leave the app -not close it but just minimize it- whatever you were searching for vanishes and it resets back to the main screen. It’s VERY ANNOYING!!!! Even if you check another app and go right back 4 seconds later the search screen you were JUST on will be gone and you have to search again or look through your history for the page. Terrible STUPID DESIGN!!!!!!!
Crippled by Apple
Still much better than Safari, but Apple has crippled many of the best Firefox features like VPN, or extensions like uBlock Origen. The Brave browser may be a better solution.
Great Browser
Firefox has everything I want and need. It performs well. I would highly recommend using it.
Invasion of privacy
Why is our contact info collected and linked to us?? And you collect usage data and use identifiers. Is any of the info collected by your company sold to/shared with other companies/entities?
oh my god shortcuts
I love firefox. But new tab! I want to be in 100% control not firefox auto adding things in. I’ve just been constantly removing ones i don’t want…but it never stops!
Just straight up broken
Tapping on links in apps should send you to the actual app. Discord -> YouTube link -> Firefox -> YouTube app. Like how Safari does it. Instead Firefox just keeps the content in the browser, for a worse experience. Despite what their support says, this is not because of a setting blocking external apps. Firefox just doesn’t work.
No add-on
Safari and Edge have addons. Firefox is behind time.
An Actual Browser that Respects Your Privacy
I know there are many browsers out there that are claiming they are privacy first. But they all have controversy behind them. Like Brave which entered it’s partner’s crypto referral without your consent when you browse a cryptocurrency site. Firefox has no controversy, it is actually great and you will have zero worries with it.
Horrible intrusion of my privacy
HORRIBLE
Good but annoying features
Good browser, great at forcing sites into desktop mode - my main reason for using it over safari. Biggest annoyance is if you go to view all open tabs and push a tab slightly rather than opening that tab the browser closes it. There’s already a X to close an open tab, why add an additional feature? The amount of times I close a tab by mistake grrr! Please allow this annoying feature to be turned off!
Settings buttons not tested for accessibility
Settings pages not tested For accessibility Most buttons don't work with VoiceOver screen reader on iOS 26 Buttons with three or more options work okay? But binary buttons don't report status as they normally Wood in iOS apps so there is no way to know if they are currently on or off Very disappointing as I am a Firefox user for many many years
The best browser.
A really good browser, tho I wish the nova redesign was on iPad.
Kinda uselsss
I often find myself opening safari when using some sites. Which renders having this on my phone kind of pointless. I always like using Firefox on a proper computer but the mobile one fails me too consistently. Loading bar on top repeatedly getting stuck loading forever. Can’t push x to stop it. Websites half loading and not even trying to finish. Not all websites but enough. Safari never has a problem with this.
Almost perfect
I love Firefox always works great but wish there was Ad blocking then this would be perfect for mobile. This version needs an ad block
Disappointing
I was so happy after using Firefox on my MacBook as the VPN feature allows me to watch videos on it using the free wifi service that came with the flat I am renting. Unfortunately, the version for iPhones don’t have this feature.
Please fix the CLS
Dear FF team, when will you finally fix CLS problem for images that use dynamic viewport sizes, like svh? This is really bad user experince, and happens on scroll, due to the navbar hiding / showing. Look at Safari. It handles it perfectly fine. Thank You! A long time loyal user
Better than Google
Works exactly like Google, but is not Google. 10/10. Bonus: Cute customizable App icon.
Importing passwords/bookmarks
Firefox claims this takes ONE CLICK. That is a FLAGRANT LIE.
Great browser, one issue though.
I don’t know if this is because im in private tab, or if this is because im using a vpn. But this app crashes very frequently and its very tedious, especially if im in the middle of typing something.
Keeps crashing upon opening
Lately, the browser keeps freezing on my iPad when I open it. I have to force close it, losing my open tabs for it to work.
Needs adblocker
Not much point using FF on iOS since there are other browsers on the App Store that have Adblock. Also not sure why the devs keep saying they won’t add Adblock due to iOS limitations… despite other browsers on the App Store being able to do it just fine.
My fav browser
Team Firefox!
Idk
It was great on my galaxy tab a9+it’s a weak tablet, but on my iPad a16 powerful tablet, supposed to be smoother yet it’s slow as death….my chrome browser is way faster
Much better than before
As a web browser it does what it says. Firefox has been around longer than most other browsers. The latest version (151.0 at the time of writing) is the best it’s been on iOS. Fast, accurate and brings some of the features you’d expect for a modern browser on a mobile device, like, an address bar at the bottom of the screen (where your thumb is) making it much easier to navigate one handed and switching between tabs by swiping left or right on the address bar. Things that are missing that would be a great help. Swiping up on the address bar to get to the tab list view and smoother integration with iOS password vault app.
The end of an era ...
What the heck folks!! Firefox (web browser version) is becoming completely UNUSABLE on my ipad since the upgrade. It is degrading and disintegrating noticably for weeks now and I have no choice but to switch to another main browser now and set everything up from scratch - VERY disappointed!
Needs..
