Great app to find a ride
Simple and pretty easy to use!
Horrible update!
I cant select just one option (eg Ryde flash), and it forces me to choose a more expensive ride option if there is no ryde flash. Trying to imitate grab but grab only links the rides for GRABSHARE not for normal non-sharing rides!
Great price, bad map
Great pricing but direction for driver is terrible. At least 3 drivers have been misled to my office which is at CBD, and the route Ryde directs its driver brings them around the world
Unreasonable Drivers Spoil Experiences
Drivers will accept the Ryde requests, and upon finding better opportunities in other apps, they will simply drive away. This forces the customer to initiate the cancellation. And if you cancel after x-mins, there is a $6.61 charge for you to bear. You can dispute the claim, but it is only refunded as a Ryde coin, forcing you to therefore reuse the application, causing the issue to reoccur again. This mechanism needs to be fixed. Shouldn’t driver bear the cost?
Not able to use apps in KL.
Extend your service to Malaysia? But location not able to be detected in KL. Please upgrade your apps. I am sure a lot people need the service badly.

Possible Scamming?
Booked a Ryde at around 5 Sep 2026, around 5.30am. Found a driver who was only about 8 mins away from my pickup. A few mins later, 8 mins turned into 9 then into 14 mins. Okay, maybe driver taking alternative route to get to me faster? 14 mins turned into 18 mins, then into 25 mins. Messaged driver if they're on the way. Says "On the way". Okay. Messaged him that I will cancel. Thinking possible cancellation fee scam. Paid $6.61 for the cancellation as driver was taking way too long to arrive. Never again. (Did not bother with waiver request, too much effort for a possibly disappointing result)

Competitive pricing but minus 1 star for the clingy gf/bf type notifications when I don't make a booking or something...🤣
App failure
All of a sudden, I can’t book with my card or Apple Pay. The only way to book a ride is by topping up the Ryde Wallet. So troublesome . So I deleted. Pity the Ryde drivers- played out by Ryde’s management and IT team

Hi Ryder team, Thank you for creating apps other than grab, uber (no more in malaysia) and the like. beautiful and tidy display only these apps are unstable, always out of apps suddenly and address, can not be accurate. so i hope ryder team, if you want your apps to last longer in the apps store, please fix your apps. is very detrimental if you are not serious about it. thank you and keep up the good work

Bug - GPS location not being updated
App has some issue with gps. Driver’s current location doesn’t get updated. It was showing the driver as 5 minutes away though he has arrived at the pickup location. I have noticed this a few times.

Been a loyal customer of Ryde & never encountered major problems. Although there isnt any no.to call incase of emergency. The call back period is quite fast. Thank you Ryde!
App bias to drivers terrible to riders
Fine you $5 for 3 min but drivers can anyhow cancel on you make you wait 15 min when app say 6 min away and you cant cancel cos app charges you a fine, but driver can dont show up and no punishment given. Drivers are mostly rude or try to scam u $5 by pressing arrive when they havent reach
