What people like
- Kids really enjoy making their own stories
- Great tool for teachers to create books
- Fun way to share created stories with others
What they complain about
- App crashes constantly when you use it
- You must pay for almost every sticker
- You can only make two books total
- Text boxes are too small and basic
I want the legacy theme and icon back
And I also want everything legacy
Worst app ever
Even though I paid I can’t use the stickers or anything and it deletes the story every time waste of money and energy buggs out all the time
It’s a little confusing to use
If you made it less complicated it would be 5 stars!
Glitch placing pictures
Good app this is really weird glitch. It kicked me out when I tried to place pictures. Maybe I have too many books or something because I have a lot but the glitch is kinda annoying. Please update the app.
Slowest App
I love this app but I have one thing that is not working right. Every time I click a button it takes a very long time to open. Please fix this issue. For now, I am stuck.
We need to zoom in
So I was writing a poke Miku story for Pokémon red and I literally coudint zoom in and it keeps on messing up with my drawling
Uploading videos to photos wont work
The app keeps crashing every time I upload a story
LOVE THIS APP!!!
I can’t believe that l can publish my stories it is so so cool but alsolly
Fun, but want everything free
I wish everything was free! Such as, stickers, text fronts, and it won’t let me add another book! I’ve made two books right now, but it won’t let me make another!
Over all okay
This app is fun but I do not want to pay to add someone
So COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
My brother’s age is between three and five years old and my age is between eight and ten years old. My brother usually draws potato heads and the game called fall guys. His drawings are AMAZING!!!!! Perfect for ages 3-11 kids, why download My Story?
:(
I was so excited to make a book. I had it all planned out, I’ve always wanted to make one but I have no drawing skills. I was excited because I didn’t have to try and draw a background! But you have to pay for the backgrounds :( please fix this.
READ NOW!!!!!!😛
It’s good but………I don’t want to buy certain things
Ehhh
It makes u buy EVERYTHING literally it showed multiple authors but u can only make one so I don’t recommend
Having problems Daniel
I started playing this app right now but then I realized why can’t I have more than two books and then I realize why can’t I have more than one offer so one problem equals minus one star so I gave it three stars so update it or I’ll give you maybe even one star
My story book maker
This game is a fantastic game for a young author. You can make your own books and share them.
Pay
I have to pay for a unlimited pages. That makes impossible to publish a kid friendly book. It is way too much dollars to pay every single sticker in the app. This app is garbage. Highly do not recommend.
Good
But u have to pay for some stuff
A nice idea for young kids but very restrictive
It is functional, just, and allows children aged 7 or below to produce a basic story from their ideas. However, I think the lack of controls means that any child able to write in Google Docs or similar would be able to produce a better story book using that. Restrictions: you cannot resize photos imported into the story, text only appears on ONE line, so a longer sentence extends beyond the edges of the page, leaving those parts unreadable. Basic things that are missing really. It restricts the book to very simple short phrases.
Purchase is acting strange
Great game back to purchase is acting weird when I click purchase it doesn’t work if I press it it pops up and goes away no matter how much I press it pls fix it
The best app
Because it is so fun to make a book. And when you get the upgrade it is so fun because you get unlimited books you can make and so much stickers!
you have to pay
This app doesn’t let you make any good books or said a good picture or say a good name or make any good books you have to pay if you want anything good.
What!?
I really like the app, but I’m not just paying seven dollars just for some silly old app. I mean I do enjoy making stories but at least just make it two dollars. I mean I already hate this
Fine I guess
You can only have one author and two books and one pack of stickers needs more features that are free The way you could improve the app is let us have more books and authors then maybe I would consider buying the whole thing
Falla al momento de comprar
Quiero comprar para desbloquear todos los stickers y no me lo permite, ayuda por favor
Great app
This is a barricade app a timer for stupid that you cannot add video clips videos, or music that’s what I meant. Do you like to record your voice and that’s all you can do but you can ride and all that stuff but you have to buy all of the stickers, but if you do buy you get a lot of stuff so I would keep this.
grown up check
The app keeps asking me to do a grown up check and it says "swipe right with two fingers to continue" and then I do that and nothing happens?? I'm stuck on the author page and can't even make a book..
Why I give it a 4/5 star
It could be better because making books are expensive of game points
Come on!
Hi! I am new in this app because I just downloaded this app! I thought there were no problems but there is one. It was that I was stuck on the text. Pleez fix!
Ok
It’s good but it only lets you make 2 books but it’s good
It’s great!
It’s better than I expected
Annoying
I had to give this game 1 star because I can’t give it zero stars. This game doesn’t work I try to make a story it lets me do the first page, but when I want to continue it says swipe up with two fingers to continue, so I do that and then it said swipe right with two fingers to continue... . I never get past the first page so I deleted it but I’m considering downloading it again but it should?
Good app but crashed…
This is an amazing app for writing story’s but when I clicked on “view story” it was loading the pages and it stopped at 5 and it said low memory warning and crashed and then I cleared up some of my storage, restarted my phone, and end checked to see if I had to update the app,as well as closed out of my other tabs.i don’t why or what caused this but I’m upset.
Kindergarten Teacher
I first started using this app in 2013. It has improved some since then but there is still much improvement needed. I like the idea of this app especially in my Early Childhood classroom. Please continue to make the app a little more phone friendly not every teacher has an ipad. Also sometimes the app freezes. Editing the cover page is impossible and how do I access previous creations?
Needs updated or increased clip art.
I love the idea of this app and it works well. However, my granddaughter is always very annoyed that there aren’t people who can wear the clothes. There are several items of clothing, like paper dolls but no people to dress. I agree, that is a flaw. Also, they could do seasonal updates.
I love this game because I get to make books and it’s fun 🤩
I’m going to make a lot of books
My story
I love to wright on it but needs more pitchers we can unlock with buying so kinda boring
I like it because you make books
Good job on the game
Not Allowing me add text!
The entire reason I purchased this app was because I see that it allows you to place a text in you work. However, it is not allowing me to add any text whatsoever!!!!!!!! So angry I paid the money for this app!
Yea
I used it in 3rd grade
Poor value for your money
Don’t buy it. You cant fill in with a certain color, there are no gradients of different shapes. I bought the app and still lack a wide variety of stickers. The illustration tools are still too basic to have spent money on it. Save it!
Okay.
Like it. But I kind of think it could be better
Wont let me continue
I was making a book for a school project, and this app was working well and I enjoyed using it, but after I did a few pages, I cant open the book. When I click on it, the app kicks me out to my home page.
So cool
This app is so cool. I’m starting to design my curriculum for teaching pre-K next year and this app is great for creating early readers with ease that are customized to what I want to teach. So thankful to have found this app!
Why the purchase?
This app was great. But now,I get it back, and I have to buy all of these things! I wouldn't recommend this app for anyone!
Having problems
I loved My Story since 2017 but now I can no longer make books and I have to pay the app. Please Update soon.
