Description

My Story: where kids become published authors.

Hand your child a blank page and watch a whole world show up on it. My Story is a kids story maker and children's book creator that turns drawings, photos, voices and very big imaginations into real, multi-page storybooks. The kind you read together at bedtime, send to Grandma, and hold in your hands.

Have their book actually printed

This is the part children never forget. When a story is finished, order it as a professionally printed book: real paper, real binding, softcover or hardcover, their name on the cover, delivered to your door. Choose portrait or landscape, design your own back cover, and preview every single page before you order. Book printing for kids that turns a five-year-old's drawing into something a family keeps for thirty years. Birthdays, holidays, new siblings, first days of school: nothing lands like a book they wrote themselves.

Make a book, page by page

Draw and tell stories with pencils, crayons and paint. Add photos from the camera roll, stickers, shapes, GIFs and 3D characters that pop off the page. Record your own voice reading it aloud. Drop in video. Then flip through the finished book with real page turns, animations and music.

Stuck for an idea? Ask for a little magic.

Magic Story is a storytelling companion that asks your child the questions and lets them make every choice, so the story always stays theirs. Magic Pages paints a page in their own style. Magic Narrate reads their words back to them in a storyteller's voice. Magic Soundtracks scores the whole book. With Magic Characters, your child invents a hero of their very own and brings it back page after page, book after book.

A cast of characters, always growing

Alongside the ones your child invents, My Story comes with its own cast of characters to drop straight onto the page, and we draw and add new ones regularly. If the character they are looking for does not exist yet, they can ask us for it, and we will make it.

NEW: Memory Book

Choose a handful of photos from a birthday, a summer trip, a first day of school, and My Story lays them out into a beautiful illustrated keepsake with captions, frames and a soundtrack. The easiest book your family will ever print.

NEW: The Community Library

A moderated shelf of stories from storytellers of every age and every corner of the world: other families, classrooms, teachers and authors. Read them, favorite them, leave a kind comment, and when your child is ready, publish theirs for others to discover. Parents can switch the library, publishing and comments on or off independently.

Grow as a storyteller

Every story earns XP. Kids climb eleven ranks, from Daydreamer and Doodler all the way up to Living Legend, collect badges, keep a weekly writing streak, and unlock new My Story characters along the way. The most fun anyone has ever had practicing writing.

About Story Sparks

Drawing, stickers, photos, video, voice, music, unlimited books and unlimited authors are all completely free. Story Sparks are needed only for the Magic features, and children earn them simply by writing. Extra Sparks can be purchased if you want them. Printed books are ordered separately.

Every kid has a story. Help them tell it, then put it on the shelf.
