Worthless
I downloaded app instead of taking a paper map when I visited the Met. It’s completely useless for visiting the museum. It has an architectural floor plan but has no labels for what displays are on which floors. All it has is a bunch of links to tours to buy outside the museum- bus tours etc. it has nothing to do with the museum.

the Met is great; this app is not. essentially just a sales pitch for guided tours. you have to pay just to get a friggin map to the galleries. a waste of time and memory.
Seriously lacking
The MET does a terrible job at connecting memberships to its web and/or app experience. Where’s the ability to add your membership card to Apple wallet? Or manage your account information? How about making a reservation for the Met Lounge? So many missed opportunities, it’s such a disappointment.

Confusing
This appears to be a NYC tourism app that is exploiting the Met's reputation to book hotel rooms. Actual info about the museum is mostly absent. The Met's real website is 100X more useful and educational.
this isn’t official app for MET
even as professional in the field, i still got confused by the app name, installed and signed up. but it wasn’t what i was looking for. personally i appreciated the author’s effort, and understood the reasons. but it did wasted my time.

Almost useless “tourist” website
Huge disappointment! Met used to have a helpful site that was searchable for specific artworks and had good gallery maps. Now just advertising for other NYC attractions and tours. A shame!

I just downloaded the app but it keeps crashing every time i try and open a specific collection.

Useless
If you want to know what’s going on at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, look at their website. You will not find anything on this app. There is more information about other sites in the city than there is about what is in the museum. It is a complete waste.

I am better off using the link to their website, metmuseum.org because I get better information on current exhibitions, etc., not touristy info. This app does nothing for me. I live in NY.

Very informative excellent information
Useless app
This app is useless to guide you around the MET museum, I’m deleting it immediately. Its primary function is to sell tours around NY and other locations. If you want a useful guide for the MET simply go to the MET website, their online map and audio guides are excellent.
Returning to the Met
Went to see the costume exhibit last week. Besides having beautiful clothes, the concept of long ago gowns being inspiration for designers was brilliant. Unfortunately wasn’t able previously to get into the Jacob Lawrence exhibit. So sorry to have missed it. Tip: The Met’s information about ordering entry tickets should mention that the coat checks are closed. Not pleasant to carry big umbrellas or totes around unnecessarily.
No proper maps
What kind of museum app does not show a proper map of the museum? How am I supposed to look for specific galleries?
