Brilliant
I really enjoy using the Bio machines, it increases weights as you advance so is a no brainier. If only as a person with a disability I could use the body scan , as only having one functioning arm it will not generate an image. Apart from that the equipment is first class.
Doesn’t log any workouts
Doesn’t log any workouts even though I scan into each piece of equipment. Moves stay on 0!
Good app but one but one big problem
I have been using the app for a few months now and it’s brilliant, however the issue I have is when I press the button to finish a set during my workouts, it’ll skip right over the rest time. It could be user error but either way it still throws me off. If I could pose a solution of potentially adding a block of 5 seconds before you can skip the rest or just a second button do skip the rest that would be brilliant. Apart from that it is a very helpful app.
Very buggy
Works great when it does, but most recent update has broken a lot of functionality. Workouts will either automatically self complete without any input. Then exercises will not save. Logging in to gym equipment only works on Vario but not on treadmill. Otherwise app is very good!
Mixed feelings
The app is actually good. Scan the QR code on the treadmill and it auto-syncs the workout with the Technogym app. Works seamlessly. Clean UX. BUT. Doesn’t write to Apple Health to log my workout. In 2026. Making the app unusable. Please fix it. I want to use this app.

Horizontal Format
I would have given the app 5 stars except for the fact there is no horizontal format. The old app could easily accommodate my IPad. I use the iPad because it can have bigger type when i need it but this app i have to turn the iPad to vertical to use it. Please correct.
Too Much Everything, Not Enough Simplicity
Getting back into the gym after a long break, I thought the Technogym app would be useful for reacquainting myself with proper form, building a routine, and tracking reps, weights and progress. The gym I’m using is equipped almost entirely with Technogym equipment, with QR codes and app integration on machines throughout the facility, so this seemed like exactly what the app should be designed for. Instead, the app feels like an afterthought attached to an otherwise very polished equipment ecosystem. There are only four main tabs—Coach, Explore, Challenges and Results—but each one opens into another overload of options, menus and unrelated content. If I simply want to walk into the gym, open a saved workout, do 8 or 10 exercises, enter my sets, reps and weights, see what I did last time and move on, that basic workflow is unnecessarily difficult. Creating and editing a workout is clunky, and finding exercises means sorting through countless variations with names that aren’t always obvious unless you already know fitness terminology. I’ve ended up repeatedly editing the same workout and manually updating everything each time. At that point, I could just use the Notes app on my phone. The app also prominently tracks something called “MOVEs,” yet there’s no obvious explanation of what that means or why it matters. Meanwhile, I’m being presented with challenges, outdoor workouts, wellness articles, nutrition content, meditations, signature programs, wearable integrations and all sorts of other material. I don’t need the app to be my nutritionist, meditation guide, lifestyle coach and social fitness platform. I’m at the gym to work out. For $9 a month, I expected simplicity and useful integration with Technogym’s own equipment. Instead, it feels like a “be all things to all people” approach where the basic gym experience is buried under everything else. There also seems to be very little practical support or tutorial content showing how to efficiently use the app for a simple strength-training routine. Give me a straightforward way to pick exercises, save a routine, log sets, reps and weights, quickly see my previous numbers and track progress. That would make the app genuinely useful.
Good when it works (95% of time)
Supports basic bidirectional sync of fitness data via apps for the MyRun treadmill. Random connectivity and data drops between technogym app and apple fitness/health. Recently distance run data stopped being synced from treadmill/technogym app to apple fitness app. (run duration still being synced)
Useing the gyo
Yes using the gym keep me active and fit and it builds my stamina also I can lose weight as well
Battery Drainer
This app drains my battery massively. 30% in one hour and 10 minutes while using the app during a workout session.
Need a few tweaks
I’d love if it would change the weight to what I input. Some of the weights don’t match my gym weights and would be great if it just accepted the increments without issues. Also would be great if it could automatically calculate progressive overload for my own custom workouts. Other than these minor inconveniences, I’m enjoying the app.
Great when it works, but extremely unreliable
I use the Technogym app daily to create and track my workouts. I like being able to save my routines, see my previous weights, track sets and reps, time my rest periods, and monitor progressive overload from week to week. When everything works properly, the app is genuinely useful. The problem is that my saved workouts frequently will not load or start correctly. I can open the workout and see the exercises, but after pressing start, the actual workout screen sometimes never appears. This has happened more than 20 times. When this happens, the workout timer may still be running in the background, but I cannot mark sets or exercises as completed, update my reps or weights, or use the rest timers. After finishing my workout, the app will show something like “0 of 9 exercises completed,” even though I completed the entire session. This completely defeats the purpose of using a workout-tracking app, especially for someone who relies on it daily to monitor progress and workout duration. The app has a lot of potential and several features I really like, but the reliability needs to improve. Please fix the issue with saved workouts failing to load after they are started.
Watch app still broken
Apple Watch app broke a couple of months ago and is still broken. Timer does not work and exercises skip forward without waiting. Very disappointing. Better regression testing needed!

Poorly designed
Said my credentials were wrong and to reset password, but never receive reset email, after wasting half an hour turned out once I clicked new account and put in all of my details again my account was magically located… what a waste of time when I was supposed to be working out

Camera function
App was working well on my old phone. Like scanning the QR code on equipment and tracking my running data. Upgraded to iPhone 17 and the app camera function seemed to disappeared and forcing Bluetooth connection only and wasn’t working in gym. For a basic function like this it should work with all iOS. Please fix it.

Cancellations
It’s easy to use. I like the app. The only thing is that I wish we could cancel a sign up for a class up to 6 hours before the class bc sometimes things come up that can’t be helped.
Apple Watch integration broken again
TechnoGym has once again broken the app integration with Apple Watch. Watch pairing is one of the useful features of the platform. The other features remain decent so the app has value, but the Watch integration is a standout feature in this space and with TG having broken it for the second time in 2026, this version does not deserve a high rating.
Update Music Fail
Great app overall but latest update means that it wont work with apple music which stops playing when you start the programme unless its a pinned favourite. Also music stops each time a set is completed or the rest timer counts out needing a manual ‘play’ so frustrating when you are working hard and the music stops please fix it. Also can you link / integrate airpod heart rate monitoring into the app? Been using the app for ages. Really like it just the last update is a big back step. Sorry!!

Questioning if progression auto adjusts or not
I love these equipment pieces I am just not sure if it progresses the weight/resistance for me or if I should be doing it. I’ve increased my muscle overall since I also scan my body… and this equipment has been the help I needed to keep me going like a game!
Not useful for workouts
This app showed me how to use the equipment in my gym - a basic health and safety requirement. It’s pretty much useless for actually working out though because it pauses my music every time I try to progress a workout step, and using the in-app Apple Music connection doesn’t find my playlist. Was the latest app update even tested before release? Fix needed now.

A bit rubbish. Doesn’t sync with assigned data source unless you go in daily - and then you need to constantly refresh until it registers. Booking for classes a hit and miss - easier to speak to staff. A bit useless really.
Really helpful but flawed
Great how you can set up workouts and it shows you how to use the equipment. The big problem I have is it doesn’t log in to equipment. You scan the qr on the machine and it just pops up with an error you can’t get out of no matter how many times you click ok and have to close the app and restart. Needs fixing to have log workouts accurately
Terrible app
The Technogym app is useless for writing simple data - my calories burned and my basic work out metrics - into other apps like apple health. The have some STUPID concept of "moves" that they put up front and make it hard to just see calories. Who the heck wants to use their stupid proprietary metric. I will never join a gym with their eqiiiment.
Not great but not bad
Disappointed that the app still doesn’t allow you to go between other apps and count down rest time in background. This is a fairly feature which other apps offer and really lets this one down
A good place to work on my fitness level
The equipment level at Crowwood as well as other facilities such as the pool and steam/jacuzzi are excellent. Throw in the classes and you have all you need to work in your fitness level regardless of ability
Absolutely awful
My new gym has unfortunately got all Technogym equipment and it’s so frustratingly below par it’s convincing me to cancel. I should NOT need to create a damn account to use your terrible equipment. Do bette.
Limited classes
Been a member since November 25 I haven’t been able to attend a lot of classes due to limited times or spaces in classes
Poor integration
I tried to use the app during a recent hotel visit! As a Garmin user I am very used to intuitive and open integration, this is not what this app is about. Very little can be done in the free version and integration with other apps is really limited!
Rowing integration
Will this app ever be updated to integrate properly with SkillRow, bringing the routines and sessions into a single app? The SkillRow app hasn’t been updated for over 6yrs despite the tower being one of most expensive on the market.
Intense and informative
Nick is a great coach, always pushing us and making sure that we are preforming the exercise’s correctly whilst understanding that the class has mixed abilities.

It averages heart rate data out and provides incorrect data to third party platforms like Strava.

Frustrating App
It feels like this app hasn’t gone through testing. There are so many issues with it. My biggest annoyance is that it regularly stops my music playing through my AirPods for no apparent reason. It does this when starting a workout, marking an exercise as done, and at various other stages. I shouldn’t have to keep leaving the app to restart my music during my workouts. How has this not been picked up as an issue? There are so many illogical, unintuitive elements in the app too. Existing workouts are found half way down the landing page in ‘Create and Save Your own Workouts’ under a ‘+’ icon, which you’d assume is where you’d go only to add a new one. Surely this is a major area that should have a direct link at the bottom - something simple like a ‘My Workouts’ button, rather than burying it amongst a whole load of clutter on the landing page. Often after adding a new exercise to a custom workout, it doesn’t show up (particularly when scanning a machine’s QR code). So I try again, and again. And then suddenly all of those identical ones that I tried to add show up at once. But then there’s no way of deleting any of these exercises whilst a workout is underway. After adding several in error this way, it took me forever to find that I had to finish the workout, and then go back in to edit it in order to remove it. Is this how it’s meant to be? And another thing, unlike the predecessor My Wellness app, time spent working out no longer is registered on my Apple Activity app. So I’m now getting alerts from that, saying my exercise time has suddenly dropped. It’s potentially a decent app, but needs some serious testing doing to iron out bugs and usability issues which cause annoyance every single workout.
No longer syncing data from Apple health
All of a sudden, the app no longer gets any information from the Apple health app. I’ve checked permissions uninstalled the app and reinstalled it with no luck.

Waiting List
I do like the app, but I’m not keen on how the waiting list works. It seems that when a space becomes available the whole of the waiting list are told and can then book, rather than the person who is first on the waiting list. I struggle to instantly be on my phone as am a teacher. Therefore I find it difficult to come off the waiting list and get the spaces.
Fitbit
Info doesn’t seem to upload daily from my Fitbit… really annoying. Tried googling it and doing all the suggestions, nothing!
Probably OK
But incredibly complicated for someone who isn't a fitness professional. No idea how it works. Thought I entered a few sets but the data was lost. Developers should understand their users.
