Another outage?
There always seems to be a problem with this app. It’s actually crazy to not give your customers consistent access to view their accounts.
Only Thing Missing
The only thing missing from this banking app is the ability to see what the current interest rate is on the HYSA. In order to see the current rate on your accounts you have to visit their website or log in online. It’s so annoying.
Constant Bugs and Pain in the Butt
Look, I mostly chose this bank because it's close by and it was once convenient. But now, the app doesn't work, logging on the website doesn't work, and now it's making me run in circles to get anything done. I just want to deposit a check.

Notes
Note being able to make notes on transfers from account to account makes me want to leave the bank. Why you would take that Way is beyond me. How are we suppse to know what any transfer is for making dozens and dozens of transfers with no notes. Insane.
Rarely Works
This app works poorly, just like this bank. There is constant log in issues and just directs you to use the website instead. What a waste.
Poor banking
App doesn’t show images of the checks and even the deposit slip that can track or distinguish what transactions made and also they’re holding to long days the mobile deposit, until you don’t have budget anymore for payment dues and then they will charge you for the charges that cleared first than the deposited checks clearance

It asks me constantly to review it. I’ve already reviewed it. Quit asking!
App is good…when it works
The app very frequently doesn’t allow users to login. It says “please contact us if problems continue.” I’ve tried contacting numerous times with no success ever. The issue eventually resolves itself within days or weeks. I cannot ever rely on this to send Zelle payments.
Site down to much
The app is unavailable 6/10 times when I need to pay bills check balance deposit Quite unacceptable!

Can’t get into my account for weeks now!!
Frustrating
I don’t understand why it gives me errors. Why use face recognition if you make me keep putting in my password???? And then that gives me an error.
Improved
I’ve been using NYCB for 25 years. The online banking division has improved vastly over the last few years. Although they do have shady fees that randomly appear for $5 here and there , they continue to improve the app and still have very nice people at the Plainview branch . That’s the main reason I stay loyal.

App Doesn’t Work
It used to work, but over past month it has stopped working on both my iPad and iPhone 16. I get an error message every time I try to login. Scared me, but I was able to use the website to login, and see that there were no account issues, so just appears to be an issue with the app.

Flagstar's app has consistently failed to worked over the years. I turn on Face ID every 2 logins because it stops working & my saved password never lets me log in. Half the time the instant balance doesn't work. It only lets me login if I type out my password each time. VERY inconvenient, & always lagging compared to all other banking apps

Nonstop issues with logging in with this stupid app! I have never in my life change my password so much because this stupid app and bank doesn’t recognize it. Go into a branch and they are even less helpful. I cannot wait to get my money out of this stupid establishment.
