It has been very frustrating experience with LawnStarter. Not reliable!
Lawn care
Great job….glad I found them
Not professionals
This service, in my opinion is not lawn service professionals. It’s just random guys with a mower who do sub par work. Terribly frustrating and disappointing service.
App updates starting to get annoying
The last 5 or so times I go to open this app, I'm met with the Login screen. I enter my information, and a box appears telling me that my app is outdated, and I can no longer use it unless I update. It's getting irritating.
This is a great service
This has been a great up. They’ve been very good to me. Actually, I appreciate the app and the people who work for it. I have run into a few problems and they assisted immediately and corrected it properly and for that I’m appreciative. It is nearing the end of the season for Grass however they do do other things so I will be excited to navigate other services that I know I will be needing
Do NOT recommend
This is the second time I’ve tried using LawnStarter, and after multiple bad experiences, I cannot recommend this service. My first appointment was disappointing from start to finish. The “pro” arrived around 6:00 PM wearing pajamas, performed an inconsistent cut, failed to fully trim and weed-whack the property, and didn’t even mow roughly half of my backyard. Hoping that was just an isolated incident, I tried LawnStarter again and selected a different “pro.” This time, the pro arrived, walked around my yard for a few minutes, got back in his vehicle, and left without performing any work. I initially assumed he had gone to get gas or supplies, so I sent a message asking whether he planned to return. I never received a response. I then attempted to schedule service a third time and contacted customer support for assistance. Unfortunately, customer service provided no real solution beyond saying they would try to find another provider. The following day, I received an email stating that no provider could be found and that my service had been canceled. After three failed attempts, I’m left with an overgrown lawn and no completed service. At this point, I’ll likely need to purchase my own mower just to keep my yard from looking neglected. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend hiring a reputable local lawn care company instead of relying on LawnStarter. The service was unreliable, communication was poor, and customer support was unable to resolve the issues.
Lawn service
Easy to use and get great lawn services.
LawnStarter App Sucks
Your app needs a big improvement and should be designed with bugs. Outdated notifications don't go away. Wrong date for the service date, and causes confusions for the crew and customers. Sign-in times out too frequently. Messages and chat between crew and customers have serious delay. They need to refreshed constantly instead popping up normally like all the other well designed apps. As a paying customer, this is frustrating. The app is part of the paid service. I don't see the app doing its job providing the value it's supposed to.
Very helpful
LawnStarter app provides me with a way to send and receive messages from my lawn service pro, like re-scheduling rain days, services I want, and any questions. The app also shows me the extra services they provide and lets me schedule those services. But LawnStarter doesn’t use their app to prevent you from calling humans. They also have excellent live service. That’s important.
They will damage the lawn , do not hire them! They will not fix it either.
They’re Contractors don’t always follow instructions and will use two lawnmowers at different heights to cut your lawn and then kill half of it and then make you pay to replace it because their contractor took a picture of a lawnmower being set at 4 inches. They do not back their Contractors if they make a mistake or damage property, you will be stuck with the bill at the end of the day. Do not use them.
Great Service
Great Crew
Terrible company
Do not use, I signed up and for lawn mowing. Contractors never showed. They move you to new contractor that also didn’t show and the won’t let you cancel account. Company won’t do anything but keep moving you to new contractors and then try and charge you extra it’s really a terrible company find some local people yourself don’t waste your time
Great job!
Thanks, guys.
Wish I could give zero stars
Someone was scheduled to come cut my grass on Monday never showed up never answered any messages. They automatically rescheduled somebody different Tuesday. I sent a message as it was getting later to verify if he was coming and got no response. Then I got an alert that my appointment was rescheduled for two weeks from the original date. I sent another message asking why it was rescheduled and he said oh I rode past your house and it looked like your grass was already cut. It was obvious that my grass wasn’t cut. Horrible experience highly do not recommend!
Love it
the app is SO easy to use. and it's so simple to schedule and keep tabs on my services. love my lawn pro too!
Buyer beware! Absolutely worse service ever!!
Absolutely worse service ever!! Don’t ever use them if you want to rescheduled for weeks. Very unprofessional lawn care representatives and the call center is full of people who either don’t live in the USA or care to help. 0 stars possible. Florida area btw
Lawn care
My pro did an amazing job. He was fast, efficient and very thorough! I couldn’t have asked for better service!
App Issues
I love the crew that provides service for my lawn. What I hate is that LawnStarter has app updates almost weekly. They apparently have some terrible developers that are incapable of writing decent code.
LawnStarter
Great work
The worst app
Every time I try to access to it I am asked to update it. It is extremely annoying!
Lawn care
Great lawn company they take care of u thanks Slim 2026
No lawn care
We’ve scheduled someone to mow our lawn three times and all three times, no one has showed up - one of the times, someone claimed to partially mow and tried to get paid but actually didn’t show up at all. The third person responded to my message to confirm their coming to mow and then never came. I waited for 1.5 hours to talk to customer service about this. Very disappointed.
