What people like
- Route optimization saves a lot of time
- Built-in GPS navigation works well
- Great tool for delivery drivers
What they complain about
- New update ruins the old design
- App is slow and lags constantly
- Too expensive for what you get
- Map pins block the view too much
- Routing ignores your specific time windows
Only had one issue
It appeared to me that the only thing that really wasn’t done was the bags weren’t changed frequently almost every stop on these last few. The bags were disintegrating maybe getting stronger bags because they’re not doing a good job. It’s making it harder to do it.
No longer useful
I can’t access it without having to pay for it… I use it 3-4 days a month and it’s not worth the money
Does what it’s supposed to do.
Other than the fact that I had to delete and reinstall twice over the last almost 4 years (lost all my history doing that. Over 22K stops btw and no they couldn’t help me get it back) the app has been fine. Update: NEW UPDATE SUCKS. NOT SMOOTH AT ALL. App still helps but whoever signed off on this update should be fired and everyone under them
Not happy with the app
Having trouble logging into the app it’s been over two weeks!!!
Update
Used to like this app for almost 5 years, but the new update ruined it make it complicated
Wonderful.
Great app to use for delivering
Please update and fix editing asap.
I rely on utilization of this app daily for work travel, accessibility to notes, and route planning. After the last update the app doesn’t work even half as good as it did before the update. It’s almost impossible to edit/update notes if there is a significant amount of existing notes as the edit button does not exist. Also, app keeps freezing. Please fix asap!!
Update
Great customer service but really should give a heads up on a update. Really rock a couriers route first thing in the morning.
New version
Don’t like the new version it’s lagging when using app
Fixed something that was broken
Road warrior always had 5 stars from me but after this update I don’t know what ya were thinking with this redesign it’s not convenient and harder for someone who doesn’t understand technology to jump into .. Ex - when you have multiple stops it no longer spits them into a list where you can check them off or move to another route if you’re not paying attention you can miss a delivery because you now have to be on top of the separate stop s and zoom into the map .. also to see the names of directions of streets also have to zoom all the way into the map .. if I want to reorganize my stops and keep the way road warrior optimized the route I now have to calculate the route when before I can just love them around at MY convenience , stop bubbles are so big but the driver icon hardly can find it I do like map integration on the app something’s look a little cleaner but you guys went for a modern interface instead of thinking what would be most continent for the driver you guys were always 10/10 to me but with this update I would have to give it a 6/10 because optimization still works numbers on houses are clear and etc but it is now kind of annoying to use why is the map so minimal why remove key features that users that’s been on the app for 5 years + have gotten used to MOST importantly why not roll out and classic and modern version and not force us to use this if we don’t like it I also never leave a review
Worse
★☆☆☆☆ I have been a loyal RoadWarrior user for a long time, and the previous version was excellent. Unfortunately, the new update has made the app much worse. It is less user-friendly, slower, and many of the features I relied on are no longer as convenient. Because of these changes, I decided to cancel my subscription. I'm not the only one—five of my friends have also unsubscribed because they feel the same way. I hope the developers listen to user feedback and bring back the simplicity and reliability of the previous version. Until then, I can't recommend this app.
New Update
New update 7/23/2026 is absolute junk. Childish looking maps. Slow. Definitely stopping my subscription after this.
Needs more stops
I enjoy the app easy to use, makes your day definitely easier. my only problem is that you only get 120 stops for 20$ a month and there’s other apps like MyWay and PlaceMaker which both have 200+ stops for half the price. When peak seasons happen 120 stops just isn’t enough
Sharing is working
The most recent update has made it so I cannot share the route via text. It used to be so easy. I can share it from the routes master list, but not when I’m in the route. The option is there, it just doesn’t do anything. And when I DO share it from the master list, it doesn’t include the times for each stop anymore. Please fix!
Not good
Always send me on the back of the place make me lose a lot of time @margaret Hi , I work for a company make delivery’s in Brisbane “Bay Area” ( wynnum, manly , hemannt , Cleveland and Redlands bay) it’s big area , and I delivery to many commercial buildings , I don’t remember the e exactly location but it was many locations the app send back of the location, usually when the location is close to the free way , the road warrior send to middle of the freeway , but when I put the adress in the Waze they send me in the right location. I remember one location becouse im going there every day (58 hemmant tingalpa rd , hemmant ). If you want next time I find the adress I can send to this email or another one. Thanks for try fix that
Malísimo
Esta nueva actualización no sirve
Ruined it with new update!!!!
App is awful and crashes takes to long to enter stops and does work when you don’t have service. New update will lose customers!!!
Great app, Over priced
Great app, Over priced
Worked fine until recent update
Ruined my route, removed the numbers from each stop making me lose my place and have to trouble shoot, and can’t check the details of any stop. I’m sure it’s not intentional but it’s ruining the quality of the app and making it worse for me to use. Would not recommend in current state.
Buggy subscription and free trial
The app itself is great for routing, but the billing and free trial are a total mess. The unlimited 7 day free trial is still capped at 7 stops. After canceling and signing back up with my android phone on the google play store, I was was promptly charged, but the app kept saying “unable to upgrade” Beware of the billing glitches. It it wasn’t for that this would be a 5 star review
Wonderful
It’s awesome I use it for work every day it’s one of the best tools for delivering, I highly recommend even if your just traveling I’m sure it would be just as handy”update” you just updated it and made it awful……. Go back
7/22/26 Last couple updates ruined the app entirely
Urgent: Today (7/22/26) we got a massive overhaul of the app. It’s not good. Matter of fact, the app is now technically barely functioning. But before I comment on this new version I need to say that the changes to the previous version also made the app less useable. Prior to this major update they snuck in another update that broke the best feature of the app: having your map loaded into system RAM. Why is that important? Because no matter where you are your internet connection wasn’t reliant on the map loading. They snuck that update in and because I operate in an area with little to no cell service I have to keep driving out of my way to pick up an internet connection to even get past the first loading screen. That was totally ridiculous. Today, we wake up to an overhaul. I’m sure there are some improvements but the core features you need for this app now all load extremely slow. First off, it defaults your navigation to walking, not driving. Minor detail but no other previous version had this easy to catch mistake. In addition, it also now completely eats your battery and overheats your phone. I have had my phone refuse to charge due to overheating. My phone is in front of the AC on full blast. I have never experienced this. Even when the phone isn’t overheating due to Road Warrior, it won’t charge because it’s eating more battery than can be charged into it. This is a full-on disaster. When you type an address in and switch from the address number to the street name, it minimizes the keyboard and then realoads it again. So let’s say you’re typing in “100 main st”. You type “100” and then when you switch back to ABC, rather than just switch like every keyboard on earth, it minimizes/closes, then reopens. Now you’re 2-3 letters into the road name. And the absolutely experience-destroying feature of forcing the app to have an internet connection to load the map YOU just CREATED, is longer than ever. Added dumb features are : 5 second response time to mark a stop as completed. Previously it was milliseconds. And after clicking the “optimize” button a pop-up says “do you want to optimize?” Come on. This is ridiculous. And I’m sure I’ll find more throughout the day. (Edit: you can not even mark a stop complete without a full internet connection). It keeps logging me out in between stops as well. This version feels worse than a beta 0.0.1 test release. This was a very polished, excellent app at one point. Now it’s garbage. I want the version from 2025. I’m not paying for this anymore. I’ll gladly pay for the 2025 version for the rest of my life. But not this. This is worse than the app I created myself. So I’m canceling this and switching over to the one I made on Android.
Apple Maps
Route optimizing works well 95% of the time, occasional back tracking. But my major complaint is that very frequently, when opening your next stop via the “navigate” tab in the road warrior app, the pin point that is auto opened in Apple Maps does not pin the correct address. I have had to resort to manually inputting address to avoid this issue…
Bad update
Ever since the update, this app has been a complete nightmare. I have all of my clients in my favorites and I cannot scroll to save my life because it auto scrolls the whole entire list without me doing a thing.
This app is brilliant..
It’s just a shame it costs £15 pcm!!!
I’m winning
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Update garbage
Stop changing stuff that works just because someone gets paid to do that job. Worked great, let’s change it for all those that use to depend on it for their jobs 🤦🏻
Improved
The app has improved much and it’s now enjoyable using it
Poor updates
Every time they “update” the app, it gets worse. It’s useful for creating a plan and routing stops, but the map has become almost unreadable, the saved stop indicator dots are way too big and dominate the map unless you zoom way too close to see anything useful.. The blue dot that used to track your location as you moved is no longer there do you have to keep tapping the find me indicator to know your position on the map. I’ve used this app for 5 years, but I won’t be renewing it after this subscription period is over. It has become way too cumbersome and hard to read the small print and road names on the map.
Scheduling
Great and helpful but on occasion it dose not plot the correct house number
Broken “Re-Design”
This app was almost perfect before 06/10/2026 the re-design. Now - the app fails to optimize based on the current time (bug), the routing upon optimization completely ignores any and all schedules or time windows that the user has set to either an individual stop or saved favorites with schedules. I have had MANY emails back and forth with support and they say a fix is coming… it is now over a month later and the same issues persist. Myself and the rest of my local DHL drivers are now looking into other options as it seems the best routing app is now DOA. My last email to them was 6/25/26 and never received a response. If your route requires you to be at places before or after certain times… use something else.
Fix the note problem
The reason 4 stars because you can not add a note for each address for example if I Enter an address I will add a note shelf number 1 so that way I know where the delivery is located out of 30 deliveries. If I have a pick up I will add different color so I can tell the difference which one is a delivery and which one is a pick up. Please fix that problem thanks
After the new update the app has almost become useless
The first problem and the least annoying one is it lost almost all my history during the update with no warning. The second more frustrating problem is it fails to route visit. It picks a beginning time and end time of the day no matter what you choose. If you attempt to change the time to optimize time you lose the current gps location and vasa versa. If you adjust for optimized time or location (because you can’t do both) on the route you still have to do it when you attempt to optimize your route. It use to be the when you want to stop somewhere at a specific time you just put in the time window and it would route for that time. For example if you wanted to be somewhere at 9:00 you could it in for 8:55-9:05. It would then attempt to get you there at that time no matter how long of a stop it is. If you were going to there early it would have you wait until the time before starting the time at the visit. Now you have to put enough time in your time window to include time at the site or the site will be ignored in routing. And that time window has to be within the route optimization begin and end time window or it gets ignored. If you fit in all the windows it will put it in the windows orders but ignore the actual time window. So if you have to be at one place at 9 another at 11 and another at 1pm It will put have you go to the 9 first even if it has you there a 8 and even if your 1pm is going to arrive at 11:30. The only go thing is the text windows are clearer to see even though it’s hard to access and often requires going in other tabs to access what I use to be able to access in route.
RoadWarrior
It’s a great app wish it was a bit more user friendly on PC. Also wish that I could add more locations.
Please put it back the way it was!
With the recent bug fixes, the app is much better now. Thank you for listening to me. Also please put the search bar at the bottom again.
Great App Until the Recent Update
I’ve been a loyal RoadWarrior user for years and have trusted it with my business. Over that time I’ve built a database of more than 1,000 saved favorites/addresses and just under 400 saved routes. It has been an essential tool for my work. Unfortunately, after the recent updates, I’ve experienced missing data and syncing issues that are incredibly concerning. Years of work appear to be missing or inaccessible, and there’s no clear explanation of what’s happened or how to recover it. For users like me who depend on this app professionally, this isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a potential loss of years of valuable business information, money, and time. Before rolling out major updates, there needs to be better testing, better communication, and a much more reliable way to protect customer data. I sincerely hope the developers address these issues quickly because RoadWarrior has been a fantastic app in the past. Right now, however, I can’t recommend it to anyone who depends on it for their livelihood until these data and syncing problems are resolved. Super unhappy right now.
Price should be less
Hi team good but expensive
Terrible Redesign
I’ve used Road Warrior 5-days a week for 8 years and I am disappointed. The new redesign looks like it’s been put into a AI chat box for design changes. Less contrasts makes difficult to see when driving. The new design looks nice, but it’s terrible for the user. The way-points display are too large and the user has to zoom in to far for street labels. Nothing needed a re-design as it was near perfect before. Also, once address way points are entered wrong address info is sent to the gps with the wrong house number. Please bring back what we loved or re-design once again to something more practical. Thanks.
Meh
The app is ok. Needs a lot more polish. Buggy, sometimes takes forever to load when inputting stops, and over priced sub fee imo. I’ve been using it for a few years now and am looking for something new.
Update
The new update lay out is great but the search option needs to be addressed there’s a bug when you try to search the search bar goes away the there’s a lag response
Bad update
Ever since the new update, the app opens much slower, big city names don’t load except for one specific amount of zooming in on them, it’s harder to manually organize the order of the stops, selecting multiple stops to delete them is harder, loading the next stop is slower after checking in the one you just did as well as several other things. If they went back to the previous version the app would be great.
Great App!!!
This app saves me on the daily doing deliveries! Love it
Version 2026.04.291 yuck
I’m not a fan of the new Version 2026.04.291 update. My date outputs differently than it used to, please fix it so stops are listed the same. An improvement would be to allow the user to control what information you can share/output instead of what it gives you.
Review maps
Maps are a bit outdated especially out towards Toowoomba
Great App
I’ve been using Road warrior for a while and the new integration of GPS guidance in app is great!
Forcing to upgrade
Using basic now trying to FORCE me to upgrade using an upgrade popup.
Very useful but should be better as you pay a membership
I’m an UPS driver and this app is very helpful, sometimes it gets kinda weird with the paths to follow but overall it’s good
Just too hard
I don’t see any directions, I could not figure out how to do anything. I managed to put the addresses in but then couldn’t get it to direct me. Too big of a headache so I just deleted it.
PLEASE ADD A SEARCH BAR
I’m just sick of going through the list to find my regular clients. I have above 100+ clients and not using them all daily I would like to optimise my routine as quickly as possible. Being able to search names of clients along with their addresses would make managing and optimising certain routine much easier. Instead of spending 30mins+ scrolling through all my clients to find all the ones of the day.
