Optimising routes
The route optimiser is awful. I’m wasting so much time going back to the same areas.
Colors and shapes
Minor bug after last IOS update - I can change the stop shape or the stop color but I can’t change the shape and color. Please fix. I rely on this app. I visit 5-15 stops every day and this app is the only way I have found to get them in order. It loads the screen when I have poor cell service.
Going downhill
Was the best app for route planning, with the latest update it’s made it slower to use and more complicated. Used this app for 5 years due to the ease of use and now I think it’s time to start looking at others as my renewal is up in February.

Useful for planning routes but not totally user friendly or easy to edit lists

I work for a delivery company. And I’m been using this app for more than 4 years every get better But the only THING I MISSING THAT I would like to have is when you done with 1 stop it should automatic start the next stop and so on. Please think about that……. Thank you
Needs Update
After updating to IOS 26.1 a few days ago, this app is suddenly almost inoperable.
Great app but has some bugs
The app works great 80% of the time, however sometimes when reading a FedEx barcode it leads you to an address nowhere near where you’re supposed to be. Also the user manual could be a little bit more detailed. For example, what the colours mean beside the numbers

Muy buena app me gusta mucho.
No longer works
Have used this on an older iPhone for years, but no longer opens at all. Still running ios 15 but no longer functions. All addresses lost as tried uninstalling and reinstalling but made no difference. Useless if it doesn’t work.
Wierd
Can you uninstall this update because when I tried it this morning it's a little buggy and if you put your phone in landscape mode the search box where you enter your address is so small that you can't even see what you're typing
This ain’t it!
Don’t waste your money. Tried it out, the app mistranslates address or translates address ranges to every gps app I tried it with. Not ok, wasting more time looking for addresses you don’t have or walking back 3-4 houses because it gave a range instead of actual address. I give it 2 stars because you can scan addresses multiple ways.
Update Needed ASAP
Almost unusable at the moment. The added stops disappear when planning a route, if you don’t refresh the screen after adding a stop half of them will be missing. My job is had enough as it is without this making it worse. I’m blown away the developers haven’t fixed this yet. It’s been like it all week

Easy to use and set up multiple separate routes that get repeated.
Recent Update
The recent update has ruined the app, really has. It was fine as it was why change something that didn’t need to be fixed. Things now can’t be found, i can’t change the name on there
Clock
The clock in night/dark mode should not be black! Cannot see the time easily!
Seems ok but hard to ue
I cannot even figure out how to delete a stop. This is NOT intuitive or easy. No directions and cumbersome

Crucial advantage
Having also looked at what is probably your largest competitor, you have here a single and outstanding advantage over them, which is, house names. When doing deliveries in those rural areas where everything is house names rather than numbers, this is an absolute godsend. If I'm honest, I think their optimisation makes better choices. Placemaker doesn't appear to allow for the fact that I can u-turn or walk from one side of the road to another? House names though... Brilliant. You got my subscription off the back of that. Thank you.
Glitches
Glitches out when you go a different way after choosing Google maps It will take you to the nearest busy intersection which could be 1km away from destination
Deleted after seeing pricing options
£14.99 per month is robbery in my opinion. Courier salaries are notoriously low already! Also, since when is Google Maps a premium option in anything? The whole point of Google Maps is that it’s open source, not sure they’d be too happy about people being charged to use it through this app. Disappointed to say the least, I will continue my endless search for an app to help me do my job at a reasonable price.

They should update their routes, their maps, the streets where there are no exits or passages because it is closed, because you always have to guess, and the directions are not completely correct. If I scan a place, I get a place that is further away. This system is really too old, too bad it is. the only one that I like to work with

No Right addresses on this app
It’s a very good app but 15 of 100 are wrong addresses are wrong and and the set up color and shape need to be fixed. Thank you! I will change the bad review after fixed
Great for Medical Office Locations
OK I love this app for putting different medical systems within a city, I feel like it would be even better if once we create a list for one system, that we could see more than one list at a time laid out on the map so we can see where all of our locations are without having to switch lists. (So basically we would be overlapping lists) Is this possible?
Didn’t work well at all for me
This app was more frustrating than just using google maps. It took me on a few run arounds where I would pass an original location and then end up doubling back and passing that location again hours later. Also the google map integration uses coordinates not the address itself so the directions you get are not accurate and end up putting you at a house that isn’t the address you originally put it. All in all super frustrating and made me not really trust technology.

It is a paid feature to use Google maps and Apple maps are free, but Apple maps are mostly useless. It’s a great idea but not worth anywhere near $15/month!

I use it for deliveries and in a 5 hour shift I save at least as hour using PlaceMaker. Thx.

25 stops?
Don’t bother. U pay for optimization and says works well up to 25 stops. I’m sorry but a courier has more then 25 stops. Download Road Warrior, much better

Love this app thinking of getting premium for route optimization I just use the free to route for work stops.
Waste of time
This app is a waste of time. It kept changing the order of stops and you have to manually resort them after each stop Edit: The solution you just commented solves another problem but not the one I mentioned. It keeps changing the order of the stops every time I arrived at one. -Also, adding a stop is time consuming if the user has more than 50 stops to add so maybe consider ADDING A SHORTCUT BUTTON. - one more feature you could add that beats road warrior(best route maker I have ever tried so far): * make a list of all stops showing the order they were entered and the order they will be arranged after route optimization. - final development point is to allow the client to add a note as they create a new stop instead of finalizing it immediately and then trying to modify it. If you ever need beta testers just add me to the list and will provide feedback free of charge
Best app ever
This is the best app since sliced bread. You can reverse your routes to hit missed customers first. You can save all your customers and put notes in them like closing times. I would recommend this app to anyone.
