Doesn’t work
GPS distance does not work, when editing and saving workouts it does not do the edits it stays stuck on what was there before
Good for intervals
It works well. I couldn’t get logbook to work but once I did it’s been a good product.
Has been better
Idk what happened but the miles are off. I use a Garmin Venu and this app and Garmin synced up on miles but 2 weeks ago the app forced me to sync with Apple health and now the miles are definitely off
Intervals used to work but now adds more time
I was using this app with its original settings of 3 minutes fast and 3 slow and it would tell me when each sessions started and stopped but now it keeps saying adding extra time to each interval and counts up. I can’t get it fixed and have asked for help. I paid for the app too
Great for HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT)
HIIT is the way to go for fitness for the maximal benefit for the minimal time, and you can combine short bursts of cardio with short bursts of weight. You can designate intervals and rest periods as you like, designate number of intervals or overall time, and can make anything in your home work with this. I have weights, a few pieces of cardio equipment, and do yoga, so can loop around the equipment I have at home with maximal effort and short rest periods and get an excellent workout in 30 minutes. Works in a gym also if you are willing to move to any available piece of equipment or you work out at an unpopulated time. I paid for the upgrade to do this and it is so worth it. It transfers workouts to Apple Fitness seamlessly. Great motivator if you are starting out again!
Frustrated
At first this was a great timer but as time goes on it is the worst! On several occasions it deleta the timer I programed within minutes of me finishing and saving. If it did not involve planning and was a cut and paste I wouldn’t care but it isn’t. Time to discontinue and find something better! I want a refund for time wasted.
Indispensable
I’ve been using this app for at least seven years and it’s indispensable for training and other timing purposes. The customer support is also very good.
Used to like it, but now it doesn’t work if health data tracking isn’t allowed.
I used to love this app and used it as part of my HIIT routine, but after the new update, they now force you to allow health data tracking; otherwise, it shows an error and crashes. I collect and analyse my health via other wearables, and when I allow the app to track it, it creates duplicate entries and messes with my data. Unless it allows users to use it without health tracking, it has no more value to me, and I will cancel my subscription. Fix it, and it will deserve. 5 star
A lot of times; No maps load
All the variations of timers are great (with the paid version). My main complaint is that all my run maps are just pending logs. They don’t seem like they will ever sync up with the actual workout.
Best intervals app
By far the best intervals app out there. Allows the most flexibility. Voice cues so you can focus on workout. Can mix time and distance. Better than the interval function on dedicated sports watches I have tried. On par or better than general workout app at a better price while not trying to sell me shoes that sync with my phone. Only suggestion I would have is to prove a total at the end of a workout for each interval. Each interval is listed with stats, but I imagine it wouldn’t be too hard to provide list the totals for the different intervals.
A subscription for a timing app?
$4/month seems kind of crazy just to be able to change interval times? I have a hard time seeing what ongoing monthly costs require the developer charge a subscription. It’s a timing app… on my phone… this isn’t Netflix.
Good app
This app is getting better and better
Does not support complex hiit
I want to have a workout of two cycles. One cycle of 45sec-10sec, and another cycle of 30sec-10sec. The app only allows one interval pattern from the beginning to the end. I am very surprised. The app looks very equipped, yet fails at the simplest task.
Good but complex
I want to give this app ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because it’s great to set up a workout with timers for each set and interval. The problem I have is getting the app to announce notifications on my AirPods Pro from my Apple Watch. I’ve confirmed every setting I can find (the complex part) enabling announce notifications, syncing to AW, text to speech next interval, end of interval countdown, ducking music when there’s an announcement, iPhone and AW settings allow notifications but no matter what I try I cannot get the notifications to sound through my AirPods. It’s far too complicated that this app requires going to 20 difference areas to get this to work. If there is an easier way to do this I’d like to know. I’d also recommend that this process be consolidated and simplified.
So flexible, So simple
Intervals Pro is a Swiss army knife of workout apps but is the simplest to use that I’ve found. Just imagine running and hearing just the right amount of coaching about being too fast or too slow for your target pace, keeping you from constantly placing down and seeing just a snapshot of the moment. You can customize intervals, repetitions, and add in all sorts of odds and ends to your workout. You can use this to record an Apple Watch Workout, and you can also use it in the background to coach your pace and let the Workouts app record your data. So flexible I use them both during races!
Keeps Deleting My Premium Intervals!!!
I paid 20 dollars for the premium version and every time I go to painstakingly write out my workout intervals, they keep getting deleted. So that’s a total waste of time and money. Lovely.
Does the job well
The only thing that would make this perfect is seeing how long my heart rate is at what zone and how long like on IOS but other than that. It’s great and does the job and is very customizable. Great app
Useless when locked
App doesn’t work if phone is locked. Also, I did a run today, started tracking on my Apple fitness, started the interval timer and it cancelled my Apple tracking and because I have my permissions on the app as not to track my whole run wasn’t recorded.
Stürzt sehr oft ab
Bei mir stürzt die App die ganze Zeit beim öffnen ab. Zum öffnen muss ich lange gedrückt halten das Widget und einen Timer starten und den abbrechen…. Das ist natürlich super nervig. Der Rest der App gefällt mir richtig gut!
Great for any timed activity
Besides fitness, I use it to move the hose at regular intervals when watering my garden. It works great!
Issue w health permissions
I’ve loved this app for years and now I’m having consistent issues where it freezes and tells me it needs permissions. I’ve tried all of the fixes and it still happens. Very frustrating after years of trust

Superb timer, with a lot of flexibility. Would be 5 stars if it supported the AirPod Pro 3 heart rate capability!

Support emails bounce back
Emails sent to their support address bounce back as undeliverable so be careful. I like the app but don’t understand why they cannot be reached

Needs too much info
This app has always worked no matter where I was in the world, on or offline. Now it had to connect to apple health. An app i didnt have on my phone and have never needed. Now the app wont work when im traveling for work and am in a place with no signal or wifi because it cant track ALL MY DATA. I onow this wont be an issue for most but for me it makes this app useless now

Honestly…
Everyone should own this app… it is one of the best apps out there. I fee like the applications of it’s functionality our vast. Anyone who buys this app and takes the time to put it to use will decide it’s amazing. From working out to kitchen timers to idk…. Endless possibilities where this app can be helpful.
Not working
This worked with my watch until yesterday. I had to try reinstalling because it disappeared from my watch. Now I have to pay and it still isn’t loading.

Apple Watch screen changed with updates
Now two screens of data and can only seem to change per template? I want to change the data back to the old watch layout. Just need the two screens in total, one for data and one for music control. A clear way to set that globally rather than changing all 30 odd c25k timers individually would be great.

Not quite there
The app is ok with a lot of features. The biggest problem is the UI. It is too clumsy to do the basics, like start a workout (usually 1-2 swipes and 1-2 taps) and end one.

Bien à part pour le fractionné court catastrophe
J’ai payé l’application et suis extrêmement déçue par le fractionnement court. L’average pace (min par kilometre) ne se met pas à jour assez souvent et est très approximatif ce qui conduit à des temps extrêmement éloigné de la réalité pour des séances 30s 30s ou 45s 45s. Pour le fractionnement sur 1km en revanche le temps est à peu près bon, il rajoute en général 5s au kilomètre. Très déçue qu’une application payante (chère!!) ne puisse pas avoir d’allure plus précise.
Some basic features lacking
App is ok with watch integration. Seems to be no way to edit interval names in HIIT with an exercise name to enable prompting of which exercise to do.
Best app to get the job done!
Been using it for years. No subscription, purchase one time - money well invested! Works great with my Apple Watch, and great for kettlebell sessions.
Forcing Access to Health App
Avoid!!! Trying to force access to your health data. I have no interest in providing this app developer access to my Apple Health.

Good but does not leverage all of fitness capabilities
I've enjoyed using this app and I even paid for the full version. However, it appears to be missing important data; under heart rate it does not show heart rates zones. This seems like lazy programming to me and the developer could easily have made this data available.

It’s missing a tree second recuperation or in between rest countdown before starting a series. Do you now apple products are on IOS 15 ??? . 3 bip count to start exercises in between rest and exercises

iWatch doesn’t seem to record accurately
This app is really good and easy to use. I use my apple iWatch which is running the latest software whilst training. I train on a soccer field which is 100m. I have noticed that it doesn’t accurately records distance and can be up to 50m wrong per interval. Hoping for a quick fix great app!
