Step Sequencer!!!!
LK now has a step sequencer and it’s a pretty awesome step sequencer. I can’t believe some of the features it has right off the get-go. Probability and ratcheting, up to 64 steps, scales…etc. I used to primarily use LK along with AUM for clip launching, but now I’m gonna be using it with my modular gear too. Thanks guys.

Asking to purchase extras in the middle of recording a live set when I’m logged in! I’ve already purchased what I want! Absolute joke!
Powerful with a lot of features
I’m still getting used to the app and all its options but I can see that there are a lot of features that I want present in this app. I would like to request below features to devs to enable automatic variety in clips and limit repetition: 1. Create track setting where all clips added to the track when setting is enabled will be selected from and triggered randomly - this can already be achieved by setting the follow action on clip properties but it is tedious to add this in for every clip when there are a lot of clips. 2. Create a new MIDI action that can be triggered from external MIDI controllers and apps like loopy pro that can cue a random clip within a selected track. Currently the only option when triggering from a external controller with a MIDI assignment is to trigger a pre selected specific clip, so even if the clips have a random follow action for the next clip; the entry point is always same and it gets repetitive. 3. Load and change project/patches from midi controller signals.
Too many bugs!
This is my 5th and final installation of LK sadly. I love the Abketon Live format! Unstableness of the APP over time is one if the big problems. The worst though? Great difficulties in starting a new evenr, double clicking to open it! That, is the killer. 😔
Awesome but with a bug that make it useless for me 😕
Works great as a ableton live Clone for midi in AUM, however if I stops playing for a minute the program stops receiving midi from the controller. I need to wiggle the the modulation wheel and wait a few seconds for it to wake up. I won’t be able to use it live until they fix it unfortunately.
Love this app Need CC’s
I’ve been using this app for a little while now and it is so useful. I mainly use the matrix for triggering notes in AUM. I have plenty of tools for automating and modulating CC’s like MLFO for example, but there are times when I just need to record CC’s from a midi controller. In this case, I end up needing to use Atom 2 for example. And if I’m going to use Atom 2 I almost feel like I don’t want to use yet another app like LK to sequence notes when I can already sequence notes and CC’s in Atom 2. I prefer the Ableton clip launching style that LK uses, but sometimes it’s just too many apps when I need to also automate CC’s. I love this app. I use it most of the time,.. but not all the time. Not when I’m really serious about recording my final mix. I would be ecstatic if this feature was added. You have a fantastic application here. It’s an (mostly) essential application for me.
Missing tools and capabilities/ no refund
The app is missing most of the tools that you may need for a digital midi controller. Even with the full purchase. You can’t just use it as a trusted tool. At the same time it is more expensive and does way less than most of its competitors! And at the same time they don’t accept refund requests! So you end up with useless expensive non refundable app. Search for better alternatives before falling for this.
Innovation in a App
Great little clip launcher for Ableton Live style workflow. Tons going on under the hood. Very handle tool to get a song going quickly in AUM using other instrument AU,s. Looking forward t ok it’s successor BAM hitting the streets very shortly.
Frustrating
Tried all options and could not connect it to Ubridge. Same wifi network, usb, windows recognized the Ipad but no connection between lk and Ubridge. A pity. Additionally, the software seems a little undercooked and requires two external party softwares to function. Needs work.
I might enjoy this but…
Trial mode doesn’t give me a chance to get involved with anything I’m doing. I would like to get to know this app but can’t do anything to see how it works. One full price option that includes all features would be nice. Overall I think it looks great, but I don’t know.
Has all you need
This app is pretty easy to use with Ableton but you can get really deep if you want. I've used it in live settings before, super reliable. Great options for the different sections inside the app, everything is extremely thoughtful in how it's put together. I've tried soooo many different touchscreen and midi controllers and I'm really happy with what they've done. Also if there's an improvement you're interested in they actually accept feedback and make meaningful changes. Very rare! I like pretty much everything they're doing here, I do have one request is to add the ability to turn of exclusive mode for record enabling, that would make it pretty much perfect for me.
Lots of other things to download in order to use this.
You must download multiple programs on your computer for the midi to be configured. First you must download the Ubridge, then a virtual midi driver. Tried using a cord and it wasn’t detecting my device. Big waste of time. Wish Ableton would just have a decent controller. IL Remote for FL is not great and hasn’t been updated in years but it at least works.

Looks decent, but not pricing this reasonably as a single piece of software is greedy and insulting. Separate upsells for an x/y controller and a mixing controller? Yikes. Moving on.
It has been great….
This app has been immaculate for a variety of jobs I’ve been using it for. Have recently been really struggling with connecting wirelessly to trigger sounds. Worked flawlessly moving to Ab12, haven’t changed my laptop or tablet. Just stopped working….

Freezing, abandoned Garbage
I see the potential after using it for the past 2 days but it constantly freezes on my 4th Gen iPad Pro M2, iOS 17. After doing some research I have found that others are having freezing issues and that this app has been abandoned due to the developer working on another project.

I want to use only controller but the fact I cannot save my settings makes it unusable as I have dial in the settings every time I fire up LK. Such a shame because it’s really easy to use and in some respects better than TouchOSC.
I thought ide like this more
I tried this app when I had a jailbroke free IAP version years ago and liked it. So when I got a new iPad I decided to buy some features to try and loop clips with ease. I never dove into it super deep so I’m just finding the UI a bit not so user friendly. It seems great and maybe great along side Ableton but only iPad alone, haven’t really found it as useful as I anticipated. Love your other apps though!?! hahah!?!

Holding Judgement
I have just purchased this app. And so far getting used to it’s particular way of working. So far, the clip renaming tool does not work for me. I click on it and no input keyboard is active internally or externally. Also the app has crashed (though it did bring back a recovery state when I relaunched in AUM.) But just felt like it couldn’t cope with 5 simple tracks? I am still evaluating but have been forced to buy the app because the activation prompt deliberately gets in the way far too much when you are actually trying to evaluate before purchase. If the developer can advise me on why I can not rename clips and the any tips on the glitchy timing I’m getting that would be great. running on new IPad Air 5. Thanks, I will happily update my review as appropriate.
Good so far — please improve fader smoothness!
LK as an iPad controller for Ableton Live is superb. The two-way control script works well and USB connection through UBRIDGE has been solid after I got over the initial setup (I found that some USB ports on my Windows computer would drop the connection to my iPad and so I had to try a few different ones). The big mark I have against LK right now is that, at least in Live mode, all of the faders and pots feel too choppy! It’s almost like the controls have less than the standard 7 bits of resolution, though I know this to be false since I can scroll through all 128 values of a macro if I move a control very slowly. But when moving a control with some speed, you get audible stepping when doing certain volume fades or filter sweeps, which is a shame. Controls in TouchOSC for example don’t suffer from this nearly as much. If fader smoothness improves in the future, LK will be a formidable live/DJ tool and get an instant five stars from me for the Matrix alone (plus bonus points if 14 bit control is added!). Some other suggestions: - support double tapping a control to reset to default value in Controller; - add a preference for “relative” fader controls a la TouchOSC, to prevent instantaneous parameter jumps; - on Windows, add a built-in virtual MIDI port to UBRIDGE to remove the need for a third-party MIDI routing app (the TouchOSC desktop app does this for example). Keep up the good work!
Amazing and well done
Finally bought a couple modules and thankfully haven’t had too many issues.
Didn't work.
Couldn't get it to work with my Mac running Live 11 Suite. All my other interfaces work fine. I installed UBRIDGE and wasted 15 minutes trying to troubleshoot, by which time the "trial" had run out. I can't even get Matrix to work during the, what, 10 minute (!) trial, and the only option now is to PAY and HOPE that it'll work? I was really excited for this app- ready to buy it right off the bat potentially- but with how stingy the devs are...no thanks. Really left a bad taste in my mouth.
Please add verticals view
As the title says…please add option to work this app in vertical view as well. Horizontal view is ok but when you are working with a lot of scenes in session view, I would like to be able to see the scenes stacked vertically instead of in horizontal mode. Thank you:)
No sound coming out on my end
When I decide to use the app itself, as I’m trying to play some notes, nothing is coming out at all for me even when I have a midi file imported! Is this an issue anyone else is having or am i doing something wrong? Just to note, I don’t have any MIDI controllers to use it with so that could be the reason…
Nice one, but not as live controller
Hey there! Really good app, but when I use it with Ableton as a controller for live there is a bunch of bugs: When I'm In mixer/clip view often Ableton just receive many random midi messages and randomly select tracks until I kill lk on iPad, it occurs so often so I cant just use it at all. Also When I use lk I cant select more than 1 track in Ableton, so I cant group tracks, it also drives me mad) In live mode within other views (controller, etc) mappings work bad, because lk cant map some parameters at all

The App simply doesn’t work on newer Apple machines. Support is useless as the developer is in Portugal. Look elsewhere.
Doesn’t function..
I’ve followed the UBridge tutorials and I’m stumped, I have it all set up on the PC end, but my IPhone will not make a connection to UBridge..

Have to add now: got it running except the keyboard, chorder and pads...but so far seems to be stable now. No way to get it running on macbook air m1 with ableton, ubridge and ipad pro 2020..not wifi, not usb...everything shows up in ableton and lk ipad ...connection seems to be ok, but 90% of the buttons including keyboard and pads dont communicate. Too bad i bought all inapp products — burned money for nothing. Would be so nice to use it. Hope you fix it in 2021.

I would like faders and knobs in LK to reflect what Ableton shows, when starting new projects. Right now, the faders in LK stay in place, even though faders in Ableton are at 0db for new projects. Also in console, the big pan knob should have an option to reset to 50 not 0 when you double tap it (balanced pan). Thanks.

This app is the worst excuse for a music app I have ever used. The second I plugged my mini MIDI keyboard in the app went crazy. I closed the app but it still kept playing. I unplugged the keyboard. Still playing. Pressed stop. STILL PLAYING! I had to restart the iPad because it was far too loud and repetitive. PLEASE. If you are reading this, fix these glitches.
Error
This is a nice software however it is very annoying to have these pop ups asking me to unlock the matrix which I have purchase. It would be good if the tech team would kindly rectify this annoying issue.
Audio clip editing
After this much time you should be able to to compete with Touchable in terms of audio clip editing, you know, with you having the slightly better UI and all. Also still crashes a whole lots after updates…. 👀
Constantly losing connection to my PC and sticking MIDI notes
I like LK but it constantly loses connection to my PC. One minute it will be working and showing my PC under ‘Device’, the next it shows ‘None’ and I have to re-tap ‘Device’ and choose my PC again. Additionally MIDI notes stick sometimes and the only way to stop them is to go to keyboard view and tap ‘Panic’. I’m using Windows 10 Pro and controlling soft-synths in Cakewalk.
Matrix module is fantastic
LK is an incredible piece of software. I love the clip launching and unlimited steps in the matrix module, particularly for use in AUM; this is one of the most useful tools on iOS.
Shocking set up instructions.
I have to give this 1 star for the shoddy set up instructions. Incredibly unclear and requiring visits to multiple sites with even more shoddy set up instructions. I mean “install into Ableton Live” install what into Ableton Live? and where do I install this mysterious thing from? Is it another windows program? A VST? Where’s the installer?
SWWEEET!
Lovin’ what I’m seeing so far. I used this app years ago for Ableton deleted it, now I’m coming back to it. Nice upgrade! Clear layout, important functions accounted for. It’s so wonderful to move around my studio to record different instruments in different parts of the room. I’ll be using this in live settings too! Did have an issue with Ubridge not seeing the iPad, but a restart of both apps fixed that. Not a big fan of the major components needing to be purchased separately. Outside of that, all is good.
Buggy on iOS 14.2
I’ve noticed a few bugs that force me to restart the app too often. Sometimes the matrix composer does not load the midi notes when editing a scene clip. I need to restart the app to see them. The chord section can sometimes get stuck playing notes. It may benefit from a panic button like on the keyboard section. I’ve noticed some missing functionality in the matrix section when reviewing the online documentation. For example, the quantise Q button is not visible.
puchase bug
I purchased the keyboard and the pad but the app keeps asking me to unlock & tell me & then I receive a message saying I already purchased right after. Quite annoying. Bu the app works great, no latency, nice layout, intuitive UX. If they fix the purchase pop up mistake, this app deserve a 5/5 stars

As the whole Cosmos would fall short in measuring LK’s Greatness! Could you guys please upload a couple of updated videos of LK please! Not very long, umm, around 20 minutes each vids, max 5 to 6. Trust me, LK’s PR is gonna skyrocketed! Eternal Allegiance!
Battery drain
The functionality here is good, and it's good having the modular approach to in-app purchases. But the drain it inflicts on the battery is terrible! Even with the app completely closed (and even after closing the app then rebooting the iPad), LK runs the whole time. I've had to delete the app.
Very useful app.
Enjoying the way this works with Ableton Live and delivers what I hoped it would. Up to now, the connection with UBridge seems faultless and easy to use. Now it can be used as an AU in AUM, this effectively doubles its value for money. I’ll give it 5 five stars if you make it able to handle MPE data with Live 11!
Beware the "trial" trap
No idea if this app is any use, couldn't try it out. Apparently the moment you install it, that starts some kind of trial timer whether you use it or not. By the time I had the opportunity to try it out a few days later, I'd been permanently locked out and would have had to pay £21 just to look around the app. Rude. Deleted.
