Bad experience
Very disappointing experience. Videos are playing with completely black screens while the audio is still audible. This is happening only on my iPhone, while the same episodes work perfectly on other phones. I have tried multiple episodes (up to Episode 13), and now none of them display the video properly. I also tried changing the phone number/account, but the issue remains. Please fix this playback issue.

Really great streaming
It’s great that u can see all sorts of anime and can watch Bluey bot one problem…now when I open JioHotstar and if I tap a show(eg. MasterChef ) there’s only this black screen and it takes ages for it to start that channel/movie on my iPad. Can u please fix that problem
Parental controls
JioHotstar’s parental control system is poorly designed for multiple profiles. The parental-control PIN is shared across all profiles, with no option to set a separate PIN for each user. This means if I share the PIN with another family member so they can access their profile, they can also use the same PIN to bypass restrictions on other profiles. And if I turn parental controls off, they are disabled for every profile, giving unrestricted access to everyone. A proper multi-profile system should allow separate parental-control settings and PINs for each profile. In its current form, the feature is practically useless for families who need different levels of access.

There are just too many ads and it’s really frustrating at this point it completely ruins the experience I think 1-3 ads are enough we don’t need 2 out of 2 adds and tht too the same adds r always repeated
Glitches on live streaming
Good for uploaded files but I’m facing so much Glitches on live streaming
Ad fishing
The content hangs every few seconds and trying to resume is always leading to another ad that you have to watch. Even after that, there is no guarantee that the content will run. “Priyanka & Pedro” one episode is hanging 10-15 times. Fed up with this. Netflix and Amazon Prime are far superior.

Overall, it is easy to navigate but I just wish there was no advertisement because it does not make sense to me that I paid for a subscription and I’m still watching ads on the shows. I understand if it was free but it’s a paid subscription so it honestly really doesn’t make sense at all.

I’ve taken subscription from Airtel & it is having Too much ads while watching,it’s irritating. Netflix is better with zero ads without charging additional fees.
Subtitles
I only subscribed to watch Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein but their is no subtitles. It’s a shame because I really enjoy this app. I can watch it for free on TV with subtitles but it’s behind a bit. Please put the subtitles ON. Thank you
Crashes a lot
App crashes a lot. Won’t download anything in background.
Good overall but doesn’t work in live game
The content is ok not as good as Netflix. Main concern is the live game doesn’t work since too many users watching which is really bad.

Awful app especially on the tv ,it keeps glitching and after playing 5 Ads in 30 min episode it keeps loading continuously and when it does resume the quality drops so much. The amount of ads is absolutely outrageous and annoying just stop being greedy losers and make it ad free for all subscription plans

Unable to download content
Even after having a good WiFi network I’m unable to download movies, series etc. The download gets queued & it never starts downloading. However I’m able to download content for offline viewing from other OTT platforms.
Too many ads
I am trying to watch a movie or an episode of some series and I’m literally bombarded with three ads every 20 minutes. That is crazy and super annoying.

Ads and no live tv
This company is only wants money. Lots of ads and no live tv. Please see SunTv the price is $25 and you have so many channels with contents, that too with a live TV. Hotstar -Cheaters

You can be watching a show and for weeks have English subtitles and then out of nowhere like today. They simply don’t put any, can you please explain?

I wish they could relay the cricket matches in 4K which is a standard for North America. Sure they can work on it as soon as possible.

They don’t post episodes on time
Always buggy
So a couple of issue! Usually i use it only for cricket matches.. in phone it gives ad sometimes which dont make sense as we pay for subscription but in TV it doesnt.. also recently i noticed when i am watching a replay and i press forward 10 second it just rewindss back few mins like button is broken! Please fix this its like literally small annoying things which are not expected from a site like this

Idiotic 4 time advertisements, being paid member, it should be only one or two. If fourth add is going on and i press some button it will directly makes me watch all 4 adds. This is the glitch , please fix it

Buggy and difficult to navigate
I downloaded this app to watch Disney+ in Thailand but the app is so buggy it makes watching anything on our account difficult. The touchscreen is either unresponsive or over sensitive (which it isn’t for any other app on the device), the menus are limiting, search facility is impossible to use so you can find what you’re looking for, choosing an episode in a series isn’t easy (Scrubs shows list of episodes for only one season but actually there are 2.5 seasons there if you allow device to auto move to next episode). App freezes and crashes often. I prefer to close and open Netflix instead.
