Timely response
Thank you for your timely response to my question regarding my email. I needed help with reusing and or deleting old email folders. Their response was quick and helpful. Their instructions were simple and easy to follow. Next time I need help I now know who to contact.
Give search email from sender option.
Suppose I am reading or opened an email or long press on a sender from emails list then give option search emails from the sender and then able to select all or what I want emails from that senders searched emails and delete in bulk or selected. That way I can clean inbox fast from many senders.
Good but not great
It’s a good platform. It’s much better than the standard Apple email my biggest complaints are I use AI to compose a lot of of my emails or sometimes I’ll copy and paste stuff into an email and the formatting is always horrible and never format it into anything that’s very usable and it always comes up with times new Roman as the font and if you’re just using it to type out your emails or use the built-in AI it’s a pretty good platform. Definitely need some standard formatting to where you can copy and paste and change the font and the size is none of that is available option options.
Constant Premium Reminders
The mail app is outstanding and could very well become my favorite mail app ever. But I uninstalled it within a week. The constant "hey do you want some free trial??" was more akin to a drug dealer offering a free score than genuine promotion. It is too pushy. If you offer a free product without a subscription, stop pushing your AI slop premium service. I might've used the app for a few months, loved it so much that i would do the trial. Then if I loved the trial I might have signed up for the premium subscription even. Now however? You lost a user.

No matter how many times you mark something not spam it continues to be delivered to spam, no matter how many times you block someone in spam they are back the very next day, causing you to have over 500 spam emails in a day or 2, i’d give it zero stars if I could
Pop up ad

Fast? More like slow as molasses.
The app listing saying speed and faster than Gmail. This is the slowest mail app I’ve ever used. I get notified of emails and when I open Edison it takes at least 45 seconds to a minute for the email to appear. No amount of refreshing or force closing the app gets the emails to appear.
Ongoing issue
Been using the app for a long time and it’s been working fine. But the ongoing issue of the app icon showing the wrong number of new, unread emails has never been fixed. Even after contacting support a long time ago, it’s been an ongoing problem for me, and very annoying. Hopefully it gets fixed someday.

NOT WORKING NOT UPGRADING
It is beyond frustrating to check emails with this app. I’ve kept it all these years because I like having multiple emails attached and the layout. But it isn’t worth it anymore. My emails haven’t been downloading, I should not have to sit there for 5min for one email to show the body text for. Ridiculous and I’m starting to think this was done on purpose to force upgrades. NOT upgrading, and deleting. Fix it, or delete. Not spending money on another stupid subscription.
Really liked the app but
I’ve enjoyed this app for a good long while now and it’s been my go-to lately however (and I may be wrong and just haven’t realised there’s a solution here) but it seems there’s no navigation option to go back to the ‘main emails’ screen from the ‘unread emails’ search. So if you go magnifying glass icon > filter by ‘unread’ and search you can’t easily navigate backwards from there this would be a nice improvement to make. (I did it this way as the usual unread emails feature didn’t seem to be working for me)
Extremely Slow With Gmail Accounts
For a while, Edison Mail worked great for me, but I think a recent update caused it to significantly slow down when fetching mail from my Gmail account. Sometimes I would receive a notification of a new email from Edison and it would take over an hour for the message to actually appear in my inbox through the app. While I love the client, it is unusable for verification links or emails I need to respond to quickly.
WTH?
Why does your app turn on 2-Step when I sign into google? Outside that, it is a good app, but that issue, well, if it keeps happening, I will need to remove it. BTW, the app I use on my other phone (different app) does not do this.

Seems to be getting worse
I used to like this, but it has gotten to be unreliable and worse with subsequent updates. Not only is it very slow to load, but presently it indicates that it is through updating yet doesn’t retrieve recent emails on gmail. It shows the heading on emails, but can then take several minutes to load the contents. Frequently on emails from sbcglobal.net it says no content, but viewed on gmail, it shows an attached picture and text. Presently, it is a very poor and unreliable email application.
Good app with great dark mode
I would five this 5 stars but for one bug!! It doesn’t always send an email, I find some I have to do it 2 or 3 times before it sends it! Very annoying!
App only works sporadically
I’ve had this app for a few years and it worked fine. About a month ago, it hasn’t performed well. Sometimes it will download emails and other times, go days without downloading. My app is updated. I thought it might be my old phone and just picked up a new one this week. It downloaded my email the first time and now is back to only doing it when it wants. I’m looking for another app at this time. One thing, it keeps wanted me to buy the upgrade and maybe that’s the problem. Poor free version performance to convince you to upgrade.

Used to be great now broken for hotmail
Updated to latest version but still constantly disconnects from hotmail account. When I attempt to reconnect it I get an error saying failed to get user profile UPDATE Uninstalled and reinstalled per developer instructions and Hotmail bug is back. Can’t keep doing this on repeat. Why no fix yet?
Overall an okay app
I’ve had this app for years now and it doesn’t let me send out emails however I still receive everything so I have to have more than one email address to send emails but if that was fixed I’d give this 5 stars.

Well it difficult for me to see and chat because I have use the Gmail since my childhood so can you please do something about it to be like the Gmail feathers??!
So annoying
I'm getting sick to the back teeth of this app showing that I have emails, then I open the app and there's nothing there. I'm not sure if that part is a scam to make the user open the app. I've turned badges off, as every single time I try to report through the app, I get an error message which is completely useless. If this continues, I'll be deleting it quicker than I installed it.
Better than the Apple mail!
I wanted a new email app because I was getting glitches with the Apple mail app. The largest issues for that for me was that many of my emails, usually from larger businesses, would take forever to load, and that Apple kept on changing the swipe functions on me. I then went to download Gmail, but my phone OS didn’t support it unfortunately. That led me to this app, Edison Mail, which has been a huge improvement over this, even just the free version! Right out of the gate, it led me on a quick tour of the ecosystem, and then continued to give onetime tips on settings and features I could use if I wanted. A quick setup and introduction for sure. I have been happy with what it offers for settings and customization. Most importantly for me, it loads my mail fast and also has nice swipe functions that are customizable. The widgets that it offers are awesome too. - if you’re looking for a new email app, this one could be for you!

App was great
I keep having issues as of late. Attachments won't load, app freezes when searching for an email. I've had to uninstall several times. This app used to be great and my go to for email for years. I'm starting to look for alternatives.

Slow, Glitchy
I’ve reviewed this app before and got a response that didn’t make sense. I have used this app for quite a few years, I upgraded to the Edison Mail + and it’s no better. It slow most of the time, glitchy and non responsive when searching and trying to open a past email and constantly gives me alerts that I have email when I don’t. I only check email on my phone 98% of the time.
Does justice to its name!
Terrific mail app! A no-nonsense interface which does the email job extremely well. And the useful widgets for lockscreen and home screen. It deserves more credit & recognition than it has received till now! Kudos for the good work!
Hard to use some actions
Really hard to use slide right and left actions to mark as read/archive emails - the app, instead of detecting right or left actions tries to pull down to refresh. Added one star back since the app free.
Edison pop ad
Ever since the new update , I’m getting Edison Mail pop-up ads regularly asking me to upgrade. Is there anyway to stop it? It’s annoying. I’ll change my rating to 5 stars if you disable it.

Loved it until it started glitching
I used to love this app, but a few months ago it starting logging me out randomly. A message on the app said that updating it would resolve the issues, but it made them worse. Now it logs me out every single time, and multiple emails lag so that I cannot find them. The app used to be good, but now I’m about to use something else.
1015 Error
App was great and was my go to email App. However, now can’t login outlook / hotmail due to above error. Deleted App and retried but still getting error. Hopefully the developer can fix asap as don’t want to remove the app.

I just got it on my iPhone and I am very happy that I can check my gmail and my icloud in the same app so good j*b to the makers of this app
It keeps dropping my assigned signature and can not find the one have using for three years.
