close second to quo has more call center functions and the ai features for live call coaching seem pretty slick
awful
so many issues where to even begin. calls do not connect, the update where when you click the phone line it shows the operators instead of the call log is asinine, individual caller logs take an unbelievably long time to load, cannot handle multiple calls coming in at the same time, notifications are completely at random. I am resigning and i cannot wait to delete this stupid app
Recent update
I love Dialpad but the recent update for iPads is terrible. The copy and paste feature lags so bad and the app is always crashing now when it never did that with the previous versions. Hopefully it’s fixed soon because this is becoming an issue more and more everyday.
Great technical service; terrible billing support
From a technical standpoint, Dialpad works very well. We can receive inbound calls from the 1300 number and direct mobile number, as well as SMS. It does not support MMS in Australia, which is a shortcoming of this service. From a billing perspective, we have had so many issues with overcharges for the incorrect service. For example we have been charged for over 12 months for an unlimited international call service which we have never used. Despite multiple emails, attempts with their web chat (terrible; don’t waste your time) and phone calls, we have been charged over $300 for this service, which we are not even able to cancel from our self managed portal… you have to contact the billing team - who the customer service team have advised - don’t answer the phone and only communicate via email. The simple fact is that they have, on multiple occasions, received a verbal and written direction to cancel the service and refund the overcharges. However, after over 12 months, that is still not been actioned and we remain to be charged for that every month. Whilst the platform and technology are great, I would be very wary of the unresponsive billing team. The funny thing is, I was only reminded of these overcharges as I went to take out a subscription for another license. The reality is if this isn’t resolved in the next 48 hours, we will be taking our business to another provider.

Small improvements would make a BIG impact.
It’s beyond me that a tech company making an app to try and make things easier yet, you can’t even do SIMPLE tasks such as change your voicemail message on the app. In fact, You can’t even use the browser on your phone. You have to log into the ACTUAL web browser ON YOUR LAPTOP/computer. This is absolutely unhelpful when you are trying to be streamlined and on the go. Also, many other little glitches that prevent my team from fully trusting in the product and leaning all the way in to using it to its full “potential”.

FCC Text Regs- Taking Forever
I own a company. With new the FCC Telephone Consumer Protection Act, we need to register our line (even though we don’t text unsolicited or send marketing texts), fine. But it took TWO WEEKS to even get a determination, and it failed even though we had assistance. In those two weeks, we couldn’t send texts. This is a major fail as far as I’m concerned, why take so long to give feedback? We need to text now!!

User friendly
Worst app in the history of apps. Most of these reviews are fake.
I can never answer the phone cause it just hangs up on the person every time I answer. Needs data to function, if you have low signal the app will not function. I almost never use it due to it being unreliable. Overall terrible app and doesn’t function like it supposed to. 0/10 would not recommend.
Perfect for work
I use the app every day and is perfect to keep us connected between offices across the state.
You might lose some clients
The app is a good idea on paper and mostly works. But they are so careless. They gave me a phone number I did not need as I wanted to transfer my office line to them and they app is incapable to showing the messages that are being sent to the second number in the same platform where I manage my messages and calls to my main line. To see the messages and calls on the other line which some of my clients accidentally use, I would need to log into a different account. That, in itself would not be too much of a trouble if the second system would keep the calls and messages organized like their other system (and every single messaging app…by caller).No, there every single text and every single call is a new line item even if it is from the same client. That makes the app completely useless. I can not recommend Dialpad for anyone who is serious about their business.
Support was excellent until I subscribed
Sound is excellent. They were really present to answer my questions until I subscribed, after that I was ghosted by the sales department regarding a subscription issue, and onboarding was mediocre. It’s so much work changing system but I guess it’s best I let go of my expectations with Dialpad.

AWFUL
Worst app I’ve ever used. Their team told me they’d have my A2P 10DLC registration approved, but it’s been over 3 months and they still haven’t been able to get a basic app approved. During that entire time, they continued charging me the full monthly amount for a service I couldn’t even use. I’m currently fighting to get a refund, and every time I finally get ahold of someone, I’m told I need to talk to someone else. It’s just constant runaround with no accountability. Very frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience.
Still can’t clear its own notifications
Dialpad’s app is okay, but worse than the Ringcentral app, where we switched from. For years it has been plagued with a notification bug where you can’t clear notification dots on the app icon and within the app for missed calls or voicemails, even after viewing the contact conversation with the missed call and/or playing the full voicemail. You move back one screen after doing so and the notification is cleared briefly but then returns again seconds later. Dialpad has added features in the app like a “Mark All as Read” button AND the “Catch Up” Tinder card style swipe feature to swipe through missed calls/msgs etc and mark them as read. Yet still the app has this bug. Seems like there’s a really bad notification bug somewhere they just can’t figure out how to fix. Causes daily frustration since you can’t know if you actually have missed a call or it’s one from days ago you’ve already returned. There is no reason for this level of incompetence in 2025 from an established company like Dialpad.

There’s no way to use your voicemail drops like you can on the PC app. Very disappointing

ネット回線を使用した転送（HDコール）のブッシュ通知がデスクトップアプリより遅く、受話してから先方に「お忙しところ申し訳ございません」とよく謝られる事があります。 それ以外は、他社Voipよりも先進的な機能、音質共に大変満足しておりますが、なんとか改善をお願い致します。

電話して1度切ってからすぐに来たまた別の電話の着信が来なかったり、通話時音割れや聞こえないということが多すぎます。電話の相手先にも大変迷惑かけてて、正直ダイヤルパッド使う度イライラします。会社が使うように言っているので仕方なく使っていますがほんとにイライラします。ストレス。 何とかしてください。 弊社の事務所の電波が悪いのかダイヤルパッドが悪いのかあるいはその両方なのか分かりませんが。 また、1つの電話番号を事務所で共有？しているのですが、その際、1人が新しい連絡先登録しても他の人には反映されていなく、検索しても表示されないです。 調べてみると管理者画面から登録するか、1度相手から着信がないと登録されないようなのですが、めんどくさいので1人が連絡先登録したら皆見られるようにしてください。 非常に不便です。

Everything hard to find , customer support trash, webpage trash , 2-3 time than button doesn't work. Hard to cancell the plan.
Ipad using external keyboard
I typed usually using an external keyboard but everytime I press the spacebar the typing is highlighted and you can’t type continuously. It never happens to any of my app.

Horrible app don’t waste your time or money
Dialpad is atrocious. The app lags on calls and disconnects or completely misses an answered call altogether. Very inefficient for productivity. Text will not send consecutively and screw up the momentum of conversation between a client creating a very confusing situation. Nothing but headaches using this app. Customer support is nonexistent. They take your issues but do not actually do anything about it. Also takes forever for them to respond. They try to not give their support information online and make you have to dig for it. Once you do get a hold of someone it’s a group overseas who does not communicate very well. Would certainly go with a different app other than this.
